This hotel was TERRIBLE. They kicked out my parents and about 30 other people for “not paying” when they were paid in full. No notice, they had to pay a premium price to stay longer. They kicked out my parents who hardly speak English and don’t speak any Spanish. These guys are crooks. Worst part of Mexico. Stay AWAY from this place like it’s cancer. Do not trust anyone who works there, they’ll rob you blind and smile while doing it. Complaining to Mexican Tourism about these morons now. We’re owed thousands of dollars still that we probably won’t see.

Arrived here after traveling back and forth from P.V to Tlaquepaque and vicinity. Not knowing where to stay (after my first reservation was done) decided to get help from a local travel agency. And oh boy! Can't thank them enough for booking me at Villas Vallarta; I've enjoyed my stay so much that I've gone back 3 times (on Holidays) I'm a solo traveler and always make sure the places I visit and stay, are: safe, centric, clean, reasonably priced, access to center of town, amenities a plus, and I've been quite lucky with staff so far. Food is tasty and abundant, putting you on the right path for the day., this gives you the opportunity to visit the local Restaurants and treat yourself with delicious meals after spending your day shopping for souvenirs, walking through town, or sunbathing at the beach (which is right across the neighboring Hotel) at no extra charge. Public transportation is within walking distance, and the access to downtown is a breeze. I could not ask for a better place to stay. I'm planning to visit soon, this time with my grandchildren

I really enjoyed my stay! I was greeted so warmly by Andrea. She had the most welcoming smile and she was so friendly every time I saw her when I was coming and going. My check-in with Ricardo was seamless. Nicholas & Isidro made sure I didn’t have to bother with getting my bags up and down the stairs when arriving and departing. Juan in the restaurant was so welcoming in the mornings when I went for breakfast and he was attentive without being over bearing. I was really happy that the housekeeping staff acknowledged my Do Not Disturb sign because I just wanted to relax the four days while I was there. My room was on the pool floor and it was nice to sit out and work with a pool view. The room was very clean and well equipped with a very functional layout. I would stay here again when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Nice place. AC leaked all night on the floor and couldn't get anything done or they would have gotten 5 stars.

Someone stole my left flip flop, the tv remote had only one of two batteries. It was a AAA upside down when AA was required, the pillow had a makeup imprint of an old English woman’s face. Her earring still under the pillow. Someone played a recording of dogs barking all night. Three times a week. The meat taste like fish and the fish taste like chicken, when it rains the streets fill ankle deep and there’s no boat or paddle board service, must wait till it drains, the steps are not standard height, elevator is way to slow, and the beach isn’t combed nor is the ocean water heated... unreal !

The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful and extremely friendly. All the staff spoke English so it was easy to communicate. We had a problem with our lock on our belcony and the hotel was quick to re locate us and make us comfortable. I would definitely go back and recommend. The only thing was the pool is very small but the beach is only a 5 min walk away.

Great pricing comfortable stay the breakfast buffet is good omelets made to order the pool is nice, the reason for 4 stars is balconies in 2 bedroom suites are dirty so much so you definitely do not feel like relaxing out there. Overall great pricing comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

Super disappointed in there service this year. Room was missing bedside table, TV was broken, dirty hallways and pool area, only could get 1 reservation at the a la cart restaurant and the main course had a long black hair in it. Overall won't be returning as management did absolutely nothing to try to rectify any of my concerns over our entire vacation.

Booked three months ago with one of the more popular Booking agencies. Requested , booked and paid dearly for a kitchenette and balcony for one month. When we got there and went to our room , all we had was a double bed with no kitchenette, no table and chairs, no kettle,no coffee maker and no balcony. We went straight to the front deck , canceled and walked out of the hotel after getting a quick refund and found found a much better one nearby. Buyer beware !! Happens often to a lot of people apparently, only in Mexico !!
