There is so much to say about the Botanical Gardens, but I will share a couple of pictures because sometimes pictures say a thousand words. If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, you can take the bus to the botanical gardens, take a taxy, an Uber and on the way back you can take a taxy from the botanical gardens back to Puerto Vallarta or walk to the main road and take the bus back to downtown Puerto Vallarta. After exploring the grounds do not forget to visit the chapel, and their restaurant for wine, margaritas, or pizza, their food is incredible.

The bus to the botanic gardens is $50mxn pesos each way. The bus runs every 30 minutes on the hour. The ride to the gardens is approximately 40 minutes one way. To get the bus back you cross the road and go to the stop with the roof

There is no signs for the bus stop but this spot is the right one. There is a dorian tree in front and it is great sign for a tropical garden bus stop. It is 50MXN as of Dec 2023.

Older buses but definitely an enjoyable ride and experience for a tourist. It cost 25 pesos, beautiful scenery and the trip to Los Juntas is 32 mins and yo the Botanical Garden 36 mins.

Real bus stop is actually between both mentioned places, on Aguacate Street in front of the yellow house (there's a print shop close). Bus is white with green and blue stripes

A bus stop that takes you to a small town called El Tuito. It also takes you to Conchas Chinas, Mismoloya Beach, Boca de Tomatlán , the Jardin Botánico ( Botanical Garden ) and other small towns close to Puerto Vallarta

The Tuito Bus departs from Colonia Zona Romantica in the heart of Old Town about every 30 minutes. It doesn't always depart on time or arrive on time, but hey you're in Puerto Vallarta, where are you going in such a rush? The buses are old, mostly diesel fueled and make a lot of noise. The drivers can be very aggressive and all over the road with their horn blasting at other vehicles going too slow or stopped too long in the road, That is the beauty of Mexico, the uncertainty of what's next. If you like a rigid schedule and a routine you can set your watch by stay, you're in the wrong country and you should keep your butt at home so you can get it to Walmart on schedule. It won't be long before these gems are replaced with more modern air conditioned equipment like the city buses were, so in the meantime I say sit back take a deep breath of that diesel, open your ears to the pounding of the tires against the cobblestone street and the banging of the vehicle falling apart for driving on them for so long. It will be a new day in a couple years and all of those visitors who really wish they would have gone to California instead of Jalisco will be ecstatic that change has come to Mexico.

Bus every half hour to botanical garden. 30 pesos for the ride one-way. Got a seat on the morning ride in but had to stand on the way back for part of the way. Super efficient and cheap compared to 350 peso cab ride one-way.

Your main reason for taking his bus will be to go to the Botanical gardens at 30 pesos. it waits at the corner of venustiano carranza and aguacate. Just climb on and pay when they ask. If course you may want to stop at chicos paradise for a swim. No hop on hop off so it will cost another 30 pesos to get back on for the last 2km to the Botanical Garden

When you see the yellow building with red trim, #335, you’re at the right place. $50 pesos per person each way. It’s an easy and cost effective way of getting to the botanical gardens.

Absolutely beautiful place. Plenty of room to stroll and see amazing plants from around the world. There's also a nice mile or so trail that takes you through native forest to a river where your can swim. The staff were all so friendly and helpful too.

Gorgeous place! You could spend all day here, there is so much to see and do! Great food at the restaurant. Pricey though.

Relaxing and peaceful place to enjoy the natural beauty of Mexico.

Bus takes off every 30 minutes, no A/C. A highlight would be that you pay when you come off of the bus instead of what normally is when you get in the bus. The trip is nice, borders the sea coast.

Exactly what I expected. It's not a luxury bus bit it was comfortable, clean, on time, with nice people inside.

This bus stop takes you to the Botanical Gardens. As of December 2018, the fare is 30 peso each way. If you only have bills they could give a small amount of change.

Fares change from driver to driver. Buses are dirty and of questionable integrity. Make sure to watch where the bus is going. The driver will not stop at a bus stop unless there is someone waiting or you ask them to right before you get there. Bus stops are not generally well marked and seem to stop wherever they want.

Location of stop is accurate. Fare is now $50 each way.

The bus is squeaky and bumpy and makes me want to sleep. It’s all of the feels of a childhood road trip.

The bus stop is actually about 3/4 of a block south on Aguacate from the corner of Carranza and Aguacate. It is still 30 pesos (@$1.5 US) and sometimes a person that takes the fare and can give change, other times it’s only the driver so exact amounts are likely appreciated. There are several local stops before you get to the Botanical Gardens. It was easy to get there and it was a wonderful visit. The restaurant there was worthwhile - friendly service, good music, food and drinks were excellent. I highly recommend it and also the gardens were lovely, bring bug spray. On the way back, cross the road and go slightly up the hill to catch the bus. Enjoy.
