What a great experience!! Took the day tour with our 5 and 9 year olds and we all had a blast! The beach was beautiful. Our pirate Felix was great and attentive. Would highly recommend for families

We are a family of two adults and a 12 year old and we all really enjoyed this Pirate ship experience. Pro's: Very hard working staff. They are constantly making sure you have enough to drink or if you need any thing. They really involve the kids so they don't get bored. They are all bilingual the shows and instructions are done in English and Spanish. Breakfast and lunch are included and open bar once you get to the beach if you are doing the day time ship. Cons: It was a little disorganized trying to figure out where to buy the tickets and a separate person to pay the mandatory port fee of 30 pesos each. The breakfast was great but the steak and chicken during lunch was dry and chewy. Very limited selection for open bar. Absolutely no wine. We got an amazing deal after buying the Senses Mexico discount card. We probably would not have attended of we had to pay the full price. Overall it was a great experience.

I would recommend other activities over Pirate Ship Vallarta Day Tour because you spend 5 hours sitting on a boat and less than 2 hours at the beach. Our kids liked the pirate show for about an hour but would have preferred we played at the beach at our resort and rode a banana boat available near the property. The staff are fantastic but it's a long day. This is an excursion for kids. At 8:30 am you meet at the Pirate Ship's Store. You check-in with your printed confirmation and ID, pay M$30 per person 8 years old and over in cash, and are assigned you pirate. The store sells t-shirts, sunscreen, hats; credit card accepted. Our Pirate didn't speak any English but we managed with our Spanish. You board the ship over a small ramp and are taken to the wooden bench you will sit on for 5+ hours. Mini water bottles are provided throughout and Dramamine if offered. Next, guests are called down in groups to climb down a ladder to the lower level to eat. American or Mexican breakfast is provided. American includes 2 pancakes, scrambled eggs, 1 piece of bacon, croissants, and an apple. Beverage choices are 7Up, Pepsi/Diet, Pineapple and Orange Juice. Food was pretty good for a pirate ship. The ship left port at 10 am and they covered rules and put on a show geared toward kids. It is about 60% Spanish/40% English. Kids and parents participated in a dance contest. You are mostly shielded from the sun on the ship. Restrooms are available (5 stalls I think) with sinks and soap. I didn't see showers or good areas to change - stalls are small and there is urine on the floor. The ship's railings are less than 42" tall in some places. The ship is shallow, small, and picks up water movement. It can be hard to stand and walk and some people were sick. There is no railing on the stage to keep kids from falling off. The same staff are the performers, servers, boat operators, safety, and beach attendants. They do it all and it's truly incredible! We arrived near the island's shoreline 8 miles away at 12:20 (after almost 3 hours). To get to the beach, you have to jump from a platform on the ship to a small motor boat while both move with the waves. Everyone is given a life jacket. The staff help you but it seemed crazy and I was afraid my kids would be injured if their hands or legs got caught between the 2 boats as they slam together or if they fell down the stairs. Small motor boats transports you yo shore and you get out in shallow water but will get wet. The staff lift the kids out while the boat is moving. There are hammock chairs on the beach and umbrellas. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks but no snacks or food. The sand is rocky and hot. There is a treasure hunt for kids and a game of tug-of-war. There are banana boat rides that are fun, but they ran out of time before everyone could go. I recommend this for ages 6 and older. It isn't super fast but if you let go, you will slip off into the ocean. No towels are provided; no bathrooms on beach. At 2:20 we started returning to the ship (2 hours on beach). The beach area is small and shared by another operator. The rest of the island is private and inaccessible. The process to get off is the same for getting back on but more people got bruises. Lunch is at 3 pm. This, combined with greater boat movement meant a lot more people got sea sick. We returned at 4:45 (plan for 8.5 hours total, 7 hours not including checkin and boarding). At the port you will find bathrooms, shopping, and taxis. BEST AGES 5-10 years old, 6-7 is best TIPS *Bring cash for tips (~$5/person for server plus M$ for performers and bathroom attendant). *Bring towels * Wear shoes that are easy to remove and can get wet (must remove when getting on/off motor boats) *Water socks for the rocky beach * Snacks - 5 hrs between meals * Motion sickness aids *Wet bag for wet clothes * Don't wear pants - they will get wet * Bring $15 to buy the photo taken * Sunscreen,SPF shirts, hats, sunglasses * Avoid if you have motion sickness, mobility issues, or sensitivities to loud noises.

I wish I can give it more 10 stars but google won’t let me, the ship and its crew were wonderful. The food was amazing and the music was fantastic! We went on the night ship and traveling in the sea at night is something I wish I could Relive again, the city at sundown & nightfall were amazing out at sea and I 10000% recommend everyone to go! However if you plan to go to the ship at winter I highly recommend you have Jacket or sweater of some kind because it will get cold as night time comes

This was a fun adventure and well worth the price. The show was well done, and overall, this was a great “tourist” show. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the Puerto Vallarta area. You won’t be disappointed.

AMAZING!!!! We did the night tour and it was super fun for old and young alike. Also, very loud so make sure to bring ear plugs if you have audition problems. The octopus was PERFECTLY cooked, music entertainment is also very good. Customer Service is superb. I called last minute to make a change in my reservation and they were very accommodating; our guide Choco was very friendly, but also a bit short on patience at times (my crew can be hard to manage so I am not surprised). There is a moment in the show where they take kids away for a small kids activity where parents are not required. However, I recommend going with your kids to take pictures, and also to make sure they don’t fall off the boat (yes, I can get paranoid at times, but with a small misstep, a kid could easily fall off the boat through a staircase crack).

Brilliant. The night tour was even better than we'd hoped. So much fun. Great food, great entertainment and the open bar was fantastic. Highly recommend you do this when you come to PV. The cast and crew were amazing. Worth every peso.

Took my husband he normally hates tourist stuff. He had fun and I got to dance 💃 Loved it since I was 12 still fun just more safety rules now... but we met the coolest people and kept the party going after.

Went a few years ago and it’s nowhere near as good. Staff work HARD! Only reason they’re getting 3 stars. Did the day trip, party of 11. Bar used to be open earlier, now you get your first drink on the beach, nothing the entire trip there. “Premium bar” is a big stretch as far as brands a quality, maybe before but now it’s comparable to a 3 star all inclusive bar only more limited. Beach activities are still fun and pirate show the kids loved. Entertainment was pretty good. Food was 6/10 and like I said they are lot cheaper with food and drink than they used to be. Told to be there 8:15am, last group arrived on the boat 10:15am. We sat, not entertained waiting.

I enjoyed EVERY BIT of my experience here!! The food was decent, I really enjoyed my dinner the most (I had the salmon) and the show was very entertaining. I love how they get the kids involved with the dancing competition (my 3 year old daughter REALLY enjoyed that) The beach was a bit on the smaller side but nonetheless, still fun. They had different small activities as well (Banana Boat, Kayaking, beach volleyball, treasurehunt for the kids). The kayaking was super fun because you get to go out with small pieces of pancakes to feed the fishes (they were literally jumping out of the water up close) Great experience overall, and I definitely wouldn't mind doing it again 👍🏾

An absolute blast of a nite. The show was campy but fun, the service was beyond generous, the galley was tons of fun and the staff genuinely seemed to be having a blast. 100% would do again. Our server Danny was an absolute prince and I would go again just because of him.

I did the morning trip. They asked us to arrive very early , and then the ship left later than expected. The crew was great. This is for kids. On the ticket it had said that this was English, however most of it was Spanish and there was a lot of times I did not know what was going on. On the way to the beach you go downstairs to have breakfast. There was a bad smell down there. Then you go back upstairs and watch the show. Once you arrive at the beach you are told to take your shoes off and then you are assisted to get into a little boat and taken to the beach. The beach was nice , however no bathroom. The staff serve drinks on the beach. You could have a short ride on thee banana boat, kayak, or snorkel. Once the time was up you take the small boat back to the ship. Then you go back downstairs and have lunch. Although it was difficult to get on and off the boat the staff did help a lot with this. They also offer medication if you’re sea sick, the boat ride was extremely rocky. Also more if you have mobility issues the stairs to get to the dining room are steep and you need to walk backwards to get down there. There are bathrooms on board the ship ( very small stalls)

Our family recently embarked on the Pirate Ship day cruise in Puerto Vallarta, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we boarded the majestic wooden ship, we were transported into a world of swashbuckling adventure and excitement. The authentic wooden ship was a sight to behold, giving us a sense of stepping back in time to the era of pirates and high-seas adventure. The attention to detail and craftsmanship were truly impressive, making the experience all the more immersive. Throughout the day, we were entertained by a talented crew who put on captivating pirate-themed performances, engaging sword fights, and interactive treasure hunts. The live music and dancing also added to the festive atmosphere, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The cruise offered a perfect balance of entertainment and relaxation, with stops at a stunning beach where we could enjoy water activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming. The crew ensured our safety and enjoyment during these activities, making it a perfect day for the whole family. Meals and an open bar were included in the tour, and the food was both delicious and satisfying. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well taken care of and having a great time. In summary, the Marigalante Pirate Ship day cruise is a must-do experience in Puerto Vallarta for families and visitors of all ages. The unique combination of an authentic wooden ship, thrilling pirate entertainment, and fun-filled water activities make this a five-star adventure you won't want to miss!

This is a wonderful activity for the whole family. I loved the views of Puerto Vallarta from the ship. The food was great and the show was fun. The crew was so fun, they seemed to like their work.

I’ve been on a number of dinner cruises and honestly, the food was pretty good for mass-produced dinner food. The cheese potatoes were awesome! The drinks are watered down, but if you ask for something specific, they’ll bring it to you. My sister got almost full glasses of Don Julio multiple times. One of the most impressive things was the way the host and all the pirates was the ability to switch from Spanish to English seamlessly. It made it easy to participate. I expected this to be cheesy, but it was far more fun than I expected! I would do it again. Thank you to Danny for being awesome! And Dragonfly was the best part.

What a fun experience this was! My husband and I went on the night cruise during our trip to PVR. Just know that this is a party cruise for sure, it's open bar and the alcohol flows freely! I wouldn't suggest bringing kids on the night cruise as it is very much a party. Fish was our waiter and he got us good and drunk, he made sure our drinks were never empty and he's just a super fun and nice guy. The show was a lot of fun and had some unexpected moments (I won't ruin the surprises). The meal was just ok, I had the steak and lobster and my husband had the ribeye. Although I told them several times I wanted my steak medium rare, it came out medium well and i didnt care for the lobster, but my husband liked it. My husband's ribeye was pretty good. The fireworks show was great and the sun was setting as we departed out from the port and it was beautiful. The ship itself was a very neat old replica. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend it!

My son and i absolutely loved this show! The pirates are great and seem to really enjoy their job! Our personal pirate hash was awesome. He was always right there right when our drinks ran out and would have another one waiting for us. The meals were great and very good servings. I highy recommend this show to anyone visint puerto vallarta!

If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta and feel like an interactive dinner and show combo on a moving boat, with fireworks, open bar, and live musicians, this is it. Beats sitting in a theater watching a Broadway show since the customer service is like none you will ever experience, and your wallet and your stomach will thank you. Fun for the whole family. Young couples looking for a get away this will be an ideal date. They got a premium package, which has its perks, definitely worth it. People complain about the price or quality of food, in my opinion the food was not bad, and the price was excellent compared to a orchestra seats at your favorite musical or concert. Tickets to Olivia Rodrigo would cost you 5x per person. And if enough of you go, kids may be complimentary. Daniel the pirate was our guide and he went above and beyond to make sure our group had everything we wanted. Keep in mind they are a theater company sailors and waiters. With a full restaraunt and band in the galley. If you tip them less than $400 pesos you are not tipping them enough. They are in character the whole night, do their own stunts, and are probably under paid. The only thing that could make the show better would be to introduce some killer diva like vocals with a big number to showcase new talent, but it doesn't need it, and would probably drive a great price up.

Amazing experience and great cast and awesome band. The food wasn’t Michelin star but had worse and was plenty of it. Only negative about the whole experience was not receiving our photos as promised after paying so be aware of this …

Loved it! 8 of us (4 adults & 4 kids) went on the day trip. Without a doubt, entertaining for adults and the kids especially loved it! Definitely worth the $$. Pirates and Captain were all very entertaining, funny, and great with the kids from the moment we arrived. They also did their best to keep everyone in the shade, thank you! Their storytelling in both English & Spanish was great. They were also very accommodating at the beach and even gave a little extra care to the one person seasick (and their family). Lastly, the food was better than any of us expected too!

Excellent experience. My daughter absolutely loved it. The food is ok, but the service is fantastic. The whole staff is very helpful and ship looks authentic. The beach is gorgeous!

Great show! Great people! Fantastic dinner! Out pirate was “alligator” he was also great and attentive. Some Mexican girls started arguing, but crew and other Spanish speaking people shut them down quickly. Overall great experience. Left my business card, for anyone interested working in hospitality in Canada. They are all welcome! Thank you for fantastic experience.

Absolutely enjoyed the pirate show! We had the premium meal. Steak was delicious and the lobster very savory. The crew kept us entertained from the time we boarded the ship until we docked. I would recommend you take this tour. Our server/pirate was Cayman (crocodile) he made sure we always had our drinks filled and made sure we were comfortable. The live music was amazing. The violinist played beautifully. They satisfied us playing requests made.

This was a fantastic evening with a lot of enthusiasm and joviality displayed by the crew. They (the crew) were very helpful and courteous, and the meal was on par with what one could imagine, and expect, from a pirate's galley on a galleon at sea. The actors put their heart and soul into their characters and kept the audience enthralled with their high-spirited show. Overall, I highly recommend and personally look forward to another evening of entertainment when I feel like being a pirate involved with a swashbuckling event.

Amazing experience would recommend this to everyone that ever goes to Vallarta, amazing shows and contests along with very friendly staff. If you were on the fence about doing this tour, pull the trigger it’s great! 🏴‍☠️

We went on the pirate ship in the evening at the end of December Very good staff. Food and the live music accompanying it was good. The show and fireworks were entertaining. Kind of a tourist trap feeling but nonetheless it was a good time After watching it go out during the day snd seeing the fireworks every night we had to have an actual on board experience!

My wife and I visited Puerto Vallarta for the first time and chose to take this pirate tour on the last day. We had an amazing time. Our assigned pirate was (Monster) and he was both friendly and courteous. He made the trip even better. The show that is done by the cast were both humorous and entertaining. Breakfast and lunch were really good as well. The trip is several hours but you are given the chance to enjoy the performance on the way to the secluded beach and entertainment when returning. Beautiful views of the coast as well. Surely a must if visiting the area!

9 year old granddaughter says cool all ages loved the pirate Show Entertainment. We all enjoyed the snorkeling trip, but wish the good swimmers would actually be able to snorkel underneath the water and not wear the life jacket. We had a great day on the beach and the adults like the open bar. The kids enjoyed the treasure hunt. Sign on the banana boat also
