This is essentially a locked compound you can’t escape. It takes at least a 30 minute cab ride to get anywhere nice outside of the resort, which feels intentional. You are forced to eat at their restaurants as nothing else is accessible and the food is absolutely dismal for the price. I have not yet gotten a bill that wasn’t laughably high. I was able to take a cab to Bucerias and back eat an incredible meal for less than one meal at the resort. There is also an overwhelming smell all through the resort of highly scented cleaning products and all the food on the resort tastes like the cleaning products. This is a resort for people who want to go to Mexico but don’t actually want to experience Mexico. All 4 of us have absolutely hated it and as we drove by a best western I was looking at it longingly wishing I could just stay there instead.

Obviously a beautiful resort. Felt very safe and the food is very good. You don’t feel like you are in Mexico, I like to see culture and real local people. The resort is so huge, you get lost walking or trying to use their shuttles. I’m still trying to nurse the blisters on my feet. During the check in process we got loured into a timeshare presentation. Worst one we’ve ever been to. Took 3 hours after our free breakfast. Don’t buy until you are offered the basement deal of $2500 for a 2 bdrm. Needless to say we didn’t buy and may not come back for a long time. Too bad, the golf course is very nice.

The employees are top notch. Truly exceptional. The food is great. The place is huge times massive times gigantic which is fine because if you stay in the nicer towers there are golf carts to run you around. There are lots of (very shallow) pools but also LOT of kids. It would have been nice to know there is no real BEACH. The place is next to a river that runs into the ocean and the water is kind of brown. The river / ocean is a few hundred feet from the resort with no chairs or beds close to it. Just a long stretch of sand and driftwood between the resort and the ocean. The photos show the beds you would typically see on the beach but it's pretty misleading when you see how far they are from the ocean. It's a beautiful facility. The time share presentation process was BRUTAL. Plan on spending 5-6 hours trying to escape. Good luck! :)

The Grand Luxxe at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta looks phenomenal to the eye, at the initial impression. But after a while the materialism rubs off. It is very much a walking commercial throughout the resort but there were many underlying issues present which need some thought and action, if they want to compete with the likes of Marriott or Hyatt. Below is analysis of my experience by the different components of the stay. The Room/Unit: The two bedroom unit itself is at a very high standard. Marble flooring, heavy wooden furniture and very spacious throughout. There was also a great view from the balcony and a personal tub. However many practical components were missing, to cater for an international customer base. This includes no oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer or full stove. This was disappointing as we felt mislead given we had expected a full suite kitchenette. These practical elements would have allowed us to better manage our cooking and laundry itinerary. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was the most surprising disappointment I had not anticipated. Given how grand and extravagant the entire Vidanta world came across, the Wi-Fi was extremely poor. Management were limiting our Wi-Fi to three passes, yet we had a party of 5 - each with multiple devices. The Wi-Fi would cut out throughout the Vidanta map making internet searches, streamed music and phone calls extremely difficult to smoothly continue. The Wi-Fi in the room was also very slow, with speeds of around 5mbps. In the same trip to Mexico, the internet speed at the Holiday Inn express (near the Puerto Vallarta airport) saw speeds of up to 15mbps. This is an embarrassment given the inescapable need for good quality internet access. The engineers were blamed by the sales presentation employees for the problematic Wi-Fi, given the building and expansion of Vidanta world, but this seems to be an excuse given that the network could have been managed to cater for the building work. Amenities: Given how large the Vidanta complex shown to be, there were limited fun activities that could be taken part in, as you would expect with a Marriott or Hyatt resort. There was no childrens playground, no football, tennis, pickle ball or tennis pitch, there was also very limited gaming activities. We were told off for playing catch with a light small ball in the pool and just feel there wasn’t much scope for having fun. There was a pool with volleyball and table tennis, but given the large size of the complex, it was too far to visit for a table tennis game. The access to the beach was also not close by and the beach itself was very long and wide - far away from the complex. There was also a gondala service which required additional fees to access. These gondalas were running all day and were always empty. We also played billiards and the table was broken and the velvet skin ripped. Breakfast: As part of the sales presentation we were invited to a breakfast. The breakfast had a lot of choice, but the food was overall stale and not kept warm and fresh. The fruit was tasty, but most of the cooked food was not to good standards, including the onion rings, hash browns, mini tortilla wraps and also there were bees near the croissants. Customer service: Overall the staff were all smiles and polite but were not helpful in the case of answering any queries or issues. There was no accountability, line of responsibility or even delegates to escalate any problems. Annoyingly there were early wake up calls by the concierge, schedules changes unexpectedly as well as poor communication on dinner reservations. Charges: The charges were very high for various services, such as billiards, laundry, food, groceries. Given the compound is entirely closed, intended for time and money spent within Vidanta - it feels like a costly trap! Overall Vidanta did not focus on the customer needs, but more so towards a false perception of materialism. There value creation and service is far away from Marriott and Hyatt, and I do not plan to visit another Vidanta resort.

This place is all about money. They try to get as much as possible from you at every turn. A very tiny breakfast was $40US per person. Leaving the resort is a serious hassle, cabs aren't allowed anywhere close to the building you'll be staying in, and time share people hound you non stop. It doesn't look like the pictures. Pools are super crowded. Amenities are hard to find and crazy expensive. Staff constantly calling and knocking on the door for various reason, one even walked into the room at 10pm without knocking. Do not book this is you're looking for a fun vacation. This is for sleepy rich old people that just want fine dining.

Our friend has been going here for 7 years, 2 years for us, solely for the employees who we've all grown to love and became friends with even outside of staying. However, this year 2022, I was so disappointed in the resort and service. Our food was left in the hall for multiple days, our view was the backside of the resort despite them being less than 50% capacity, our rooms were in different buildings (10 of us went), the bathrooms in lobby and other areas weren't clean or stocked, lazy river closed down, the signs didn't reflect the new paths correctly, our hot water didn't work and had to be fixed and our wrist bands didn't work for the door. This place is definitely going down hill as it grows larger. The rooms themselves are laid out great, and the things to do on the resort were great. Short walk to the beach.

This is a complicated purgatory like maze, where it takes 30 minutes to get literally anywhere. You can’t even drive to your hotel — they have these golf carts that drop you no where near entrance from a car park that is literal miles away (imagine the experience you have going from a rental car place to the airport — that how this hotel feels, but more industrial and overheated.) Literally started a timer from the minute I drove up to the resort to when I got to my room (not including check in) and it was 28 minutes of transportation. So imagine you want to drive to a restaurant 30 minutes away. Well, make it an hour. Everyone has all these complicated excuses for they can’t drive you where you need to go, the poolside is anything but relaxing with some dude shouting loudly into a microphone the entire time, and all the restaurants we ate at were a C at best. It genuinely feels like you trapped in some kind of compound that you can’t get out. Gave me a weird, claustrophobic feeling. Please read reviews before coming. I promise it’s not worth your money.

I have never seen such kind staff, so patient and genuine smiles. Very respectful. Hotel is well-kept the atmosphere is excellent for all ages and the only downside that I can think of is the wait and large process it is to get in the hotel after you arrive. Other than that, I can’t think of a better place for a family reunion.

The sales presentation is daunting and way too long. It was proposed as a 1 hour laid back introduction to a new resort. Then after breakfast they pitch the time share investment and really grill you for hours to sign up... throwing many many goodies and perks at you. When asked the hard hitting questions they don't seem to be very transparent. Just shove the "next disney" down your throat for 6 hours!! This place is very expensive and not much is included. The upfront cost to become a member is just the tip of the iceberg. Do your homework people and don't pay a dime unless you do some research first.

Very nice resort. Lots of variety around the huge complex and they are still growing. We had to walk around more than usual because they closed down one of the trolley cart routes to the beach. The beach isn't really that nice to swim in. Most guests just stick to the pools. They could use more bars and late night venues. Went night golfing for the first time. That was a great experience but they did shut off the lights in the middle of our play.

Great location. Way too big of a place. You’ll need to walk 15 min at a min to even get anywhere there Rooms need to be upgraded. Pools too Food was good but pricey. Service was great Not enough activities for kids other than pool. Kids club only good for kids over 5

AVOID!! Go somewhere else if you want to enjoy your vacation! They don’t allow you to have a ball in the pool! A ball seriously! The beach is a trash hole.. it’s next to the almecca River.. so the beach is full of debri, branches and twigs. The food is WAY over priced! Not to mention not being able to find a chair! All Vidanta cares about is making more money! Building more and more condos, but no new pools or gyms to accommodate the extra guests. It’s just a joke. The A/C doesn’t work and we have called multiple times to have it looked at. The microwave was broken (that did get replaced) The rooms and pillows smell musty and moldy.

If you want luxury this is where you want to stay. Vidanta has the most amazing resorts throughout Mexico. The food, ambience, ocean, people, smells... everything here is luxury. If you and your family are looking to feel like royalty, this is the hotel for you. They also have amazing golf, spas, shopping, and kids clubs. Depending on what level you stay at, you will have a dunk pool right outside your door on your own deck.

This place is overwhelming ! It is tough to get around if your mobility is challenged. They could improve the pool / beach access by having some direct access paths instead of exclusively having meandering paths. They claim two for one happy hours a couple times a day and it seems there is very little alcohol in the drinks and I was told vodka and tonic doesn't count because it's not a cocktail. One day I spent thirty minutes trying to order a drink only to be told "happy hour ended at 1:00, it is now 1:02"

AVOID THE TIMESHARE SCAM. This place doesn't value your time and is all about trying to loot you for as much money as they can. In return they will offer you discounted tours. At the airport an ageny will offer you several discounted tours for attending the presentation. He will take the money from you and meet you at the hotel the next day for a presentation. He will create a voucher and only list $100 as the tour cost instead of the actual amount so he can pocket the rest. Once you are at the presentation, the sales team will feed you breakfast and then get straight to work for trying to scam you. AVOID

Let's start with the Cons: - Check in at 5pm and check out at 10am - Service is hit and miss, the check in staff were rude and inconsistent. - It's a time Share resort that will harass you to upgrade constantly and restrict access where they can (especially if you are already an owner). No matter how pretty the resort is I would never want to be a timeshare owner after this experience. The amount of money my friend has spent in this place, this type of presentation hassle every vacation is a nightmare! - You will spend pretty dime on food and drinks Pros: Beautiful resort with lots of pools, hangout spots and restaurants - The restaurants we tried the food was excellent

Nice big, clean resort. However, stayed at Grand Luxxe on a Third-home exchange. Was assigned a two-bedroom on the first floor. View from the deck was limited because of vegetation. Was told at check-in that that was all that was available to Third-home guests as all higher floors were reserved for Vidanta members. My party of four felt like we were second class even though we were staying at the Grand Luxxe. We also were not allowed to ride the Sky Dreams gondola as we were not Vidanta members. Very disappointing! We could not order frozen tropical drinks such as Mudslides, etc. at the pool during happy hour for some reason, even though their price is similar to most other drinks on the menu. Didn't make sense and was frustrating. Probably will not exchange to this vacation group again. Got better service at the resort when I did an RCI exchange three years earlier!

Operationally this place is a joke. Checking in is a 4 hour+ ordeal. Rooms aren't ready on time, and no hotel staff knows anything helpful because the place is so big. This place will test your patience. Especially if you have kids, pick another option. The amenities are nice and so are staff but this place is managed worse than any organization I've ever seen. Choosing vidanta is choosing frustration and disappointment.

Generally a great time here! Beautiful place, comfortable rooms, and kind staff. But, there’s a lot of inconsistencies of quality. The front desk is not good at communicating with the guests/their own staff, the WiFi is terrible, and the fact that you have to pay for water and coffee/tea is ridiculous - especially since this is a high-class, luxury hotel, you expect far better considering the price. The food is pretty mediocre too. Ultimately, it’s a perfectly serviceable place, and can be great if you and your friends/family put in the effort to make the most of your stay. It’s definitely not worth the hefty price tag.

Customer service is nonexistent and timeshare hype is ridiculous. I just checked into a two bedroom with a view of an incomplete shoddy looking building next door. I asked for a room change and was given a bunch of reasons why I couldn’t receive one, mostly because I am an owner and made the huge mistake of booking a family trip with two separate rooms. Go elsewhere. I will not be back here under any circumstance and when I said we would happily check out and go elsewhere, I was advised they would not refund my money. By the way, we have only been on property for 2 hours and we are all ready to go home. Nothing about check in was easy and seriously the room is less than adequate.

Do not come here or buy ownership here. They bilked my elderly mother out of a small fortune. The property is nice but everything they tell you is a lie. If you are an American thinking of buying here, think again. You have no protection from their scam.

Absolutely gorgeous a limited access services over the top. This is an expensive property and part of a timeshare inclusive resort. Sales presentation is very aggressive and very time consuming if you plan to investigate this property in its offerings you will spend at least four to six hours with the sales staff. Part of the doctor world it is the top end of the residences the property is lush tropical and the staff are numerous and very pleasant. No cash is used while you were on the property and there is an opportunity to get a 10% discount if you listen to the sales pitch

This resort is top notch. From the accommodations, service, restaurants, spa, grounds. I have visited 4 times and I cannot recommend it enough. The service is incredible, everyone on the staff goes out of their way to accommodate the guests. I can't wait to return!

This was one of the most memorable trips I have experienced. The resort is beautiful and has everything to offer and more. The highlight of the trip was the friendly and attentive staff that helped us to make this trip so memorable, easy, relaxing.and carefree. Special acknowledgment needs to be made to Bryant Clemente, who greeted us when we checked in and was there for us during the entire stay of our trip. He was so warm and friendly and accommodating to me during my stay. When I arrived, I was not able to get my emails.and he patiently took the time to make the necessary phone calls.to see that I was able to receive all my emails. He never once said he could not help me and had a smile and positive attitude the entire time. I am happy to have met him and grateful to the individual attention he gave me. Thank you Bryant.

The resort is so large that disorganization is rampant. When we checked in, the room we were given was moldy, with a terrible odor and very humid. The furniture smelled of mold and there was black mold growing on the AC vents. Turns out a simple repair of the sliding doors would have fixed the issue long ago but it went on apparently for some time as the staff mentioned but there was a problem with the tower we were staying in. We were then told that they had another room for us to look at in the same tower and that an associate was going to show it to us. And the time in which we waited for them they gave the room to a different person. They then said they didn't have anything and we insisted that they come up with something. So they finally gave us an upgrade to a different tower and we didn't have that issue. The food is hit or miss, overpriced, is impossible to walk the property you have to always take a shuttle. Don't even bother to do one of their presentations to buy a timeshare as the breakfast that they claim to give you you will have to wait over half an hour just to get in. Overall, is definitely not the five-star hotel that they want it to be. Try Garza Blanca. We spent several nights over there and it was night and day. We were also told that the manager would contact us and they would compensate us in some way. Manager never called, we were never apologized for them giving away our room and we will not return.

One of the best resorts to ever visit. This is my family’s forever vacation spot. This time around our concierge Euengio Perez from tower 5 made our check in exceptionally smooth. He made sure to answer all of our questions and gave great recommendations about some of the new features on the resort. He’s extremely attentive and accommodating of all our needs.

Juan Morales is such an amazing guy. He made our week so great! He was our shuttle driver on multiple occasions. Each time we got a shuttle we hoped it was him to pick us up. He was very friendly, talkative, and happy. Thank you Juan! We hope to see you in Utah soon!

What a beautiful resort! There is so much more to see than just what’s right In front of you. I found the exploration and walkways (all clearly marked) to be adventurous and filled with special places all over!! Frankly the staff on the resort was FAR kinder than most of the tourists. This was a very special trip and it exceeded our expectations!! So much to do, wonderful food all over, the shops are fun, plenty of water activities should you choose, transportation to travel outside of resort readily available, spacious rooms, lush tropical surroundings. The resort is constantly up and running with some many hard working individuals. We can’t thank each and everyone who made it a trip of a lifetime!! Absolutely wonderful experience!! Missing it already!

My husband, eight friends and I spent a week at the Vidanta Grande Luxxe building 4 and had a wonderful time. The Punta and Main pools were by far our favorite and our favorite dinner was at Quinto. The best part of our experience though was seeing Melissa who was our concierge when my husband and I came to Vidanta for our honeymoon almost exactly two years prior. Melissa remembered us right away and was so excited to see us, as were we! Just like the last time, she was so kind, accommodating and professional. Although she wasn’t the concierge for our floor this time, she worked with our concierge, Leslie, to set up a birthday surprise for my husband and an anniversary surprise for us as well! Leslie was also a fabulous concierge and we really enjoyed having her help throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely come back as soon as we can.

Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta was one of the most beautiful resorts I've ever stayed at. The grounds was so well manicured and maintained with so many different amenities and activities to partake in. The food was top-notch along with all the employee customer service. One suggestion I would make to improve one's stay at this resort would be to expedite the check in and check out process. Too much time spent checking in and checking out.

Great service from support staff (cleaning) and most everyone I came in contact with during the 1 week stay. Some items in the grocery store are reasonable and some are not, imports and so forth. Otherwise handy if you forgot something. Would definitely bring cash for tips only, as you have to use card for everything outside of covid testing and the concierge. Nice if you have a kitchen so you can shop for food and cook. Good stay. Would be more prepared for certain things but would come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta over Thanksgiving week, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The resort's stunning surroundings and luxurious amenities created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service provided by the Joy squad. Their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and genuine desire to ensure guests have a fantastic time added an extra layer of joy to our stay. From engaging activities to thoughtful gestures, the Joy squad went above and beyond to make our Thanksgiving week truly special. We're grateful for the wonderful memories created at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta, thanks in no small part to the fantastic team, especially Arnulfo from the Joy squad. We can't wait to return and create more cherished moments at this remarkable resort.

Absolutely an amazing resort! I was not fond of the try hard sell tactics at the beginning of the week that took place when you first get to the resort definitely not something I wanted to encounter my first hour in paradise, but thankfully things elevated once we got away from the shark tank of sales people. We stayed at the Residence suite and the accommodations were through the roof mixed with the kindest people that felt generously interested in your happiness! One of the people that stood out to us was Rafael that controlled the transit system at the Residence Suite! Every time we would come down stairs for a golf cart ride Rafael would meet us with a smile and was absolutely kind throughout the entire trip! Humberto at the Main Pool was a gift to work with he would meet us at the pool every morning with a smile and would give us amazing recommendations on the trip! Thank you to all of the wonderful workers at the Grand Luxxe!

Stay was good but in the beginning of our trip the plumbing and all water stopped working for a whole night, ruining some plans we had made. Staff is very nice but it is a very high end hotel so don’t expect to eat on the resort without reservations and fancy clothing.

Visited on Thanksgiving 2022 with family. First time visiting Mexico and this place in particular. Fantastic experience. The room was amazing, food was delicious and the staff were very kind and helpful. Only issue I had was with the waiting for the taxi carts on occasion. Other than that it was a magical vacation. I see some people whining and complaining about the prices and whatnot, but what do you expect? It's a resort! It's not going to be cheap! I hope to have the good fortune to return someday.

Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is such a beautiful resort and I spend all year looking forward to the next time I get to visit! I have been 5 times and plan to come back for the rest of my life. This last trip in February was no different - incredible staff, weather, food, amenities. Such a relaxing way to spend a week. The swim up bars have a daily happy hour, the rooms in Luxxe are massive, the constant sunshine… What a dream! Above all, we are always very impressed with how kind and hardworking all of the employees are. The only negative comments we have heard (or experienced) relate to the aggressive salespeople. The resort’s greeters, bellpersons, concierges, waitstaff, etc. are endlessly friendly and helpful. Specifically, we love Margarita from Spatium and she took wonderful care of us when we used the facilities at Luxxe Spa daily - our favorite employee! During this trip we did a private wine tasting with Fabricio the sommelier, who was very knowledgeable and made the experience so special. We also love Allan from Tower 1 bar and he was a great bartender. Job was our chef at the Gong Teppenyaki night and he put on a fun show and the food was delicious. Our favorite restaurants are Tacos Break (casual Mexican - best tacos Al pastor I’ve ever had) and Bistro Bleu (upscale French - get the crepes Suzette and book a reservation around sunset)! The Norman golf course was spectacular - very fun to be able to play the same course that the pros will play in the Mexican Open coming up. The joy squad is amazing. We really appreciated the daily popsicles at the pool and sunglasses cleanings! Some suggestions: - Prices of food and drink on the resort, as well as spa offerings, have gone up considerably over the last few years, don’t increase any more! - The smoothie bars across the resort are a huge hit with my group. We would love if there were a green juice / smoothie option on each of the menus with kale and spinach as ingredients. Please add more salad options on the room service menu, right now there are 2 but there are so many more delicious salads at restaurants across the resort that would be easy to include. - The gym and the lobbies should have a print out or map of the running courses on the wooden pathways around the resort. We asked a bunch of employees where R1 starts, for example, and distances and nobody seemed certain. - Let all guests ride the gondola! Right now it is too bad that only the guests that bought into the top tier time share can ride on it, yet 90%+ of the seats on the gondola are vacant. - At Sweet París crepe, the electronic menu scrolls behind the food bar so customers can only see 2 items at a time. It would be nice to offer a framed version next to cashier or a printed menu so that people can read it. This probably goes for other restaurants too. - At the taxi stand, an employee held us up right as our taxi was arriving to call his manager because we had borrowed 2 towels, as required by our tour. We suggest that the employees not make such a fuss about this in the future. - It would be nice to be able to use the Luxxe gym lockers to store phones, etc. for a quick run outside before coming back to workout at the gym. We were told we could not store items in the locker while running outside since we were technically leaving the gym, even though all of our valuables would have been stored there during our run and we clearly planned to return. - Please put ATMs next to the taxi stand!

Very nice rooms and service, Armando did a great job with the activities. Resort is safe and secluded with everything you would need. Great for families. Downtown PV is about a 30 minute drive away, taxi required to leave the resort

The location is fabulous with a luxurious vegetation and water everywhere, a river, ponds, several fabulous pools, and a large beach. The rooms are spacious, with bathrooms with tubs and showers, and separate toilets. The negative points: no dish washer, no washing machine/dryer in the kitchen. Plus I would have appreciated complementary coffee/tea in the kitchen.

The resort grounds and pools are very nice. Rooms are spacious but quite outdated. You do have a small kitchen but very basic equipment. The resort is for timeshares members and guests, and it is great if you do like to spend all your time around (crowded) pools or on the beach. Check-in after 5:00pm and check-out is 10:00am! They made it hard to go out of the resort, so you will have to order food by the pool or use one of their restaurants, which most of them are quite expensive.

This is by far the nicest resort I’ve ever stayed at. I don’t see how anyone could complain about this place. This is the Disney World of timeshare resorts. It’s incredible what they built here. Will be back soon for sure.

0ne of my family's favorite vacation travel spot. It's just beautiful, the views are amazing. They have so many fun family activities. The pools are great, there is also a water slide, wave pool, lazy river and kids section. Their spa's are amazing. They have a lot of restaurants with many different food options. They also have daily night entertainment. Just a fun place for the entire family. You don't want to come back from the vacation.

This place is an absolute scam! We were invited as guests of owners and it was not the experience we were expecting. The property and facilities are very nice but the service was poor on many occasions. The prices inside the resort are ridiculously high, more than US prices. We were constantly over charged for food and beverages and the employees at all levels would never take responsibility for the errors so the charges were impossible to dispute. Throughout our week long stay we heard from many frustrated vacationers (both members and guests) about being scammed out of money, promised services and luxuries that were never received. I do not blame the employees but rather the corrupt management behind the whole operation. I truly do not know how this place stays in business with their backwards policies. There are plenty of other beautiful beach resorts to visit, spend your time and money elsewhere if you want a true 5 star experience.

The only reason I’m giving this resort 2 stars is because the grounds are truly exceptional and beautiful. Also the entry level staff genuinely seem to want to be helpful and Courteous. That’s the end of the good. From the moment you arrive you are now a rat in a maze and everything you will do is tracked and the system is astutely designed to vacuum every dollar out of you. Think Disney on an even more in your face level. You cannot get around on your own, you have to wait for their golf carts to take you places and the waits can be terrible - we want to grab a taxi off property and it took 40 minutes just to get to the taxi stand and we were the only ones waiting. During the day you are surrounded by kids who’s parents have cut the loose in every direction. The food is sub par at best, and the prices are no different than if you just stayed at a resort in Scottsdale or Lajolla California - seriously. You’d think being in Mexico this would provide a much better experience with a lower cost due to the exchange rate and lower cost of living. While this is true in PV, it is not the case at this resort. My advice to any American - stay in the USA and pick a nice resort stateside - the price will be the same and you don’t have to deal with international travel. There’s literally no advantage to coming here except to go see the actual city - but hey, why do you need this resort then. It’s a long journey from the city. You’re a rat in a maze here and there’s nothing to do but hang out in the maze and eat terrible food and watered down cocktails

There was a long delay in getting to our room when they knew what time we would arrive. I’m not really sure what the point of platinum membership is there, none of the perks available at Rivera Maya are available here- for instance we were told on 12/27 that the next available beach cabana was on 1/5. There were quality issues with the room. That said it is in the most beautiful setting, the food was incredible, and most of the staff is especially helpful.

I loved this resort and spent the most beautiful holidays with my friends. It is really luxurious. It has everything you wish. I wish to come back again with my family soon . Greetings from me to the People at the resort

The place itself is beautiful but it's so inconvenient for the handicap. The are not enough shuttle cars to n from restaurants. The walk to anything is a chore. As a member, I would never comeback to this location. I would go back to Cancun.

Liked our trip overall. Nice rooms, pools, and restaurants. The traditional sweat lodge experience was a highlight. Downsides were lack of somewhere to go dancing in the evenings, no organized fitness classes despite great gym facilities, and the pool tables had ripped felt and all the nibs on the pool queues were missing.

Joy Squad Osvaldo was very entertaining with the card games by the pool during our stay. Made the afternoons very fun. Will stay again.
