Okay so this was the first place recommended to try on my trip to Puerto Vallarta. I feel like I should give the person who recommended this place a brand new car because it was absolutely amazing! I think my server's name was Daniel and he did an outstanding job. Make sure you start off with a large margarita, it's bigger than your head! I got the flank steak burrito and it was out of this world. Hands down, the best burrito I've ever put in my dirty mouth. As an appetizer we had the shrimp cocktail which was interesting as the cocktail sauce was a little sweet but very good. They made the salsa table side and it was also excellent! The atmosphere, staff and of course the food made this an easy five stars. I will definitely be back for more before I leave and every time I come back to this town.

Very friendly service, large portions, and nice atmosphere. The waiter made fresh salsa for the appetizer nachos right in front of us. The music and decor was so good that people were getting up from their tables to dance mid-meal.

Tried out this restaurant for the first time. Ordered their pineapple and ginger margarita, sea salad with coconut shrimp, and pork chop. Enjoyed all dishes. They even made their salsa right in front of you. My waiter Jerry was friendly and attentive. He took very good care of his customers. Good job, Jerry!

I am blown away by my experience at this place - great music, a really cool ambience, top notch service and incredible food. Having passed by a few times, I thought this was no more than a watering hole with loud music but prepare to be surprised. For starters, they bring the ingredients for a salsa (roasted tomatoes, cilantro and other things!) right on to your table, check with you the spice level and then proceed to make the salsa right in front of you. It is the best salsa I have ever had - the flavors just pop out! For the mains, I had the coconut shrimp with a pineapple sauce which came together beautifully with stir fried vegetables and jasmine rice. Hubby had the steak burrito which he thoroughly enjoyed. We finished with the crepe with icecream inside it which was out of this world!! Shoutout to the live music performers - the music was peppy and romantic and with the rains to accompany it, could not have been a more beautiful setting for what was my birthday dinner 😊

The margaritas are huge! This pace is tucked in the romantic district which is where you want to be if you’re vacationing in Puerto Vallarta. It’s a very friend;y and open atmosphere. Nothing is overprices and the portion sizes are pretty great. I’ll definitely be back to dine again.

Festive atmosphere with fun outdoor seating — SEEMED like a good idea to try. Large margaritas, creative flavors at good value price. However, the mango margarita I had was so sweet and thick with syrup and/or cane sugar that it was undrinkable. I asked to have it watered down with sparkling, but still it was too sweet to drink. After that the service was so unresponsive, I couldn’t bear waiting and trying to wave them down anymore. Put the cash on the counter with half drink remaining, and departed. Seemed like a good idea, oh well.

This place was so cute and had pretty good food! Their coconut shrimp is a little on the hard and dry side, but the sauce is yummy! They had such a wide variety of drinks and the waiters are lovely.

Wow, superb resto-bar! Great vibe, amazing bar with friendly bartenders and the whole staff, nice food. Ask for ARTURO, and if you are lucky like I was, you can get some of the most creative cocktails you've ever drunk (not on the menu)... even in a pepper👍🏻

Wonderful. We went to this place while waiting for the tilt museum to open. You won't be disappointed. The shrimp cocktail was amazing. The margaritas were big and delicious. The shrimp and fish tacos were some of the best I've ever had.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Mexican restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a memorable experience. The menu offered an impressive array of authentic Mexican dishes, each bursting with flavor and prepared with care. What truly stole the show were the margaritas. These were hands down the best margaritas I've ever had. The balance of flavors was impeccable, and they were expertly crafted to perfection. Whether you prefer classic or flavored options, their margarita selection is a must-try. The service was top-notch as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations that turned out to be spot on. The attention to detail and genuine passion for delivering a great dining experience was evident throughout. I can't recommend this Mexican restaurant enough, especially if you're a fan of margaritas. It's the perfect spot to indulge in delicious food, sip on outstanding margaritas, and immerse yourself in the lively ambiance of Mexico. A definite 10/10 in my book!

Drinks aren't cheap but they are tantalizingly delicious. The pineapple ginger margarita was exceptional partnered with fresh made guacamole and chips. The atmosphere is party like and there is usually live music in the evenings.

Margarita Grill (Margarita Time) is a fun, must stop on your vacation to Puerto Vallarta. They have a diverse selection of meals and drinks, and the indoor/outdoor seating provided lots of options for how to enjoy. Service is fast, portions are generous and flavorful. This is a great spot to pregame other bars, for dinner after the beach, or just a fun night out with friends.

Excellent restaurant in the area!!! They offer non-alcoholic Margaritas for half the price if you are trying to avoid alcohol for whatever reasons.... They give the chips and fresh made salsa at the table as a free appetizer with your meal. I had the chicken fajitas that came out sizzling on a skillet. It was all more than I could eat...generous portions!!! Enjoy!!!

I come to PV every 3-4 months and Margarita Grill is always a stop during my travels. It may not be the most "authentic" Mexican food which is typically what I look for when in Mexico- but for a somewhat Americanized version- it is fantastic. The food is super fresh and flavorful, the portions are large, the table side fresh made Salsa with chips is the star of the show. Additionally, every server I have ever encountered there has been extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is fun, lively and well decorated. Last but certainly not least, they take credit card which is a huge win for me- I try to travel with as little cash as possible and that's sometimes difficult to do here. I always go with the chicken burrito when eating here- the green serene dressing they serve with it is actually heavenly.

Stopped by here for dinner during a weekday, we were able to find table quite easily. The vibe of the restaurant was really cool, they were playing mostly American music by pop hits that easy dance along too. They had fans all over so it didn’t feel too hot, but no air-conditioning. The service was really good and they actually recommended a few dishes to us. Salsa is made fresh tableside and complementary. We got the mixed molcajete which was more than enough for two people. It consisted of steak, chicken, shrimp, stuffed bell, pepper, cactus, cheese. Also came with tortilla. I normally also comes to chorizo. However, we didn’t eat that so we asked him to substitute out for guacamole, and they were able to do that! The food is cooked to perfection and stayed hot for quite some time. We really enjoyed the food and service here and actually are considering returning for the end of our trip to try the seafoodmolcajete. I suspect this place is more prominently known for its margaritas and late nights, so that would be interesting to experience. Would recommend!!

Our experience was ok. Margaritas felt more like smoothies - didn't feel like we had drinks. We tried mango and passion fruit margaritas. Food was fine - guacamole side dish was good but the chips were probably the worst that I ever had. Chille rillano was ok. Service was slow.

We returned several times during our 10 days in PV and were never disappointed! The music is good, the service is attentive and warm, and the food and drinks are excellent. While you can't go wrong with their classic margarita, the pineapple ginger was a delicious surprise and the orange one was super refreshing. ¡Muchos gracias Margarita Grill!

As a frequent PV visitor so called Tourist Traps are sometimes mistreated. This is one of those. Yes the prices are a little bit higher. But in my travels if your not going to put in the research and get off the normal trail then be happy. The food is good...I've always had great service (shout out to Manny)and the live entertainment is better than average.

Very good Margaritas! I had the watermelon and it was very refreshing. The chicken Burrito was huge a bit too big for one but would be perfect to share. Good service as well.

Great place to spend the evening, live music and later fun music from 80s to 90s, unbelievable drinks, super friendly and helpful staff. Don't miss to buy you some mariachi music, if the pass by. We had a wonderful time, been there 3 times in a week, before, for and after dinner.

Awesome vibe and great food. Can still hear your friends while listening to music. Great food as well. A must stop! That's fish in the green sauce.

what a fun spot! we went with a group of 8, and tried a variety of Margarita's. Loved the pineapple ginger and the passion fruit ones. I read in the reviews that the burrito was the best thing you could put in your dirty mouth, and I have to say that's not 100% accurate. if that's the best thing you prob need to put more in your mouth. The flank steak in our molcajete was very tender, the table side prepared guac was delicious. The live band was also incredibly talented, we really enjoyed their music. Service was attentive. Id definitely go back.

Service is amazing. We loved the table side dishes. The guac was very good, the fire roasted table side salsa stole our hearts.

My first strawberry and basil margarita was just basic, even with a double. It was sweet and good though. The passion fruit was delicious with a double on the side. I throughly enjoyed the table side guacamole. The guacamole was fresh and very tasty. Definitely good vibes with the locals and a good spot to just hang.

Food and drink was delicious! Tortillas smells pretty weird! Prices are pretty high but it worth for what you receive, staff is very friendly and the place is so amazing to have a great time with friends or even family. PRO: they prepare right in front of you the typical Mexican salsa in a molcajete!

Had a rather poor experience. We came a few days ago for a few drinks at the bar, which was really enjoyable. The drinks are nice and good value. We came again for a meal and a few drinks and this is where it went completely pear shaped. Had our meal which seemed nice** up until an hour later when the waiter demanded we pay our bill even though we had no plans on leaving just yet. He then came over with the card machine and asked if I wanted to leave a tip - 5%, 10% or 15%. I said 10% as we knew we were going to tip later on that evening as we were staying for a while. He then "suggested" quite abruptly that 15% is the recommended amount..quite rude if you ask me. We then ordered another drink with a second waitress and again, issues. She brought over the wrong drink but when we questioned it, she got super defensive and brought the bill over and argued for a solid 10 minutes that this was what I had ordered presumably because we had had a drink and thought she could charge more for a more expensive drink...after finishing I argued this again and still insisted this was the one I had ordered. Also she added an extra two drinks to the bill that we hadn't had or ordered, which she insisted quite loudly that we had ordered. If it was based off the first experience it would be a good review, but due to the staff being demanding and out right rude - and trying to "money-grab" I wouldn't recommend - piss poor **Seemed Nice but both myself and my partner experienced extreme food poisoning the following 2 days after.**

Amazing place to eat with live music!! Great drinks and food. Very much enjoyed their fresh salsa and the ceviche! Their fajitas were good as well. Highly recommended!

Create Margaritas and Margarita grilled chicken. Loved every bite of the chicken. The mushrooms were a bit too buttery but everything in the chicken including the bacon bits were perfection.

I just had appetizers and they were really great. Flavor was fantastic and huge portions. Margarita cheese was good, with chorizo and some vegetables great for the tortilla. The Molcajetes was really good, great flavor, big strips of stakes that were tender in a great green souce, perfect for some awesome tacos.

Best Margaritas in Town We literally had to stop by before we headed out to the airport on our last day. So recommended and the Guacamole and Ceviche Mixto is delicious!
