Excellent flavor and size for the drinks but the dishes could be a little bigger for the price. Great experience overall

The fried pickles was the most amazing appetizer they have. It’s a classic! My partner and I visited on Christmas Eve and the staff were very friendly and attentive despite it being very busy in the kitchen and with many tables to tend to. We’d love to come back again to take up on their margarita happy hour special!

Really lovely place! Very reasonably priced. Second floor had a nice breeze and gave a great view of the street below. Fun to have a former Coloradoan owner we got to talk to! And Alfredo was bunches of fun to chat with and had good advice about the area!

Very bad experience. *scam alert* We went for the reggae night. We ordered drinks at the bar. The waitress offered us tequila while we were still drinking. She insisted so we took the shots. Guess what?! The most expensive tequila they had was on our bill. I contacted the owner the next day to find out that he is the one pushing this. I'll never go back.

I really love the biscuits and gravy. The coconut shrimp is the best in town. Best margaritas In town. Service is good, never have to wait a long time to get food or check. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice, clean restaurant and bar. Food was delicious & prices were reasonable. I had the huevos Mexicano with chorizo, excellent 👌.

Looking for a good happy hour deal, this is the place! Located on second floor, off the street but close to the action. Chica margaritas for $40 pesos. Fun, friendly staff who look after you. Frequented by regulars. Free secure wifi too! Salud!

My husband and I frequented Arriba for happy hour for great margaritas & people watching during our visit to PV. I'd mentioned 'chicken tinga' to a few of the staff members one visit & where to find it. Returning the next day they'd prepared the dish just for us- it was declious!! The staff here are amazing, personable and fun. Thanks for the wonderful experience Arriba PV!!

The meat loaf ... Need I say more. One of the most familiar places you'll ever eat at in Puerto Vallarta. It has that vibe of being familiar yet not similar to anything else. It's comfort food within a comfortable atmosphere and a bird's eye view of the malacopas and chaos below that feels so very far away when here. The staff is amazing, friendly, and very personable yet not overly bothersome. And the neat loaf... Have I mention the meat loaf. Oh and the chocolate milk is like a chocolate shake similar to a Dolphychinno clasico ... I highly recommend it despite what you might expect it's a true beverage worth enjoying!!

Excellent flavor. We’ve been here a number of times and have consistently had excellent service and wonderful food. The French toast, hash browns, and bacon have a feel of home made care and the eggs are on point.

Service was awesome with super friendly staff. Food was super yummy and the chips and salsa were fire. This place has a great open balcony to people watch and see the city come alive as you eat and drink.

Food was very delicious, especially the chicken nachos but wow the restaurant is extremely hot inside.

Super friendly + accommodating for group of 10, balcony view over street is a plus! kids loved the nachos and calamari, adults appreciated the asada fajitas, red snapper tacos, $2margs, fresh quac and tasty and spicy salsa 🤙🏽 + icee cold mugs for cold beer 🍻

This is a great "go to" place for a nice change of pace. Had been called Thirsty Cougar.. Hungry Cougar.. and others.. but the original cook Rosey is back. Great breakfast.. lunch and dinner.. reasonable prices. If you want something with mashed potatoes and gravy.. they have it. Chops.. meatloaf.. stop by and check out the daily specials.. they don't disappoint. Good luck guys.. keep up the good work.. Hopefully see you soon.

This place deserves 5 stars, and a return visit. Alfredo and Jennifer exceeded fantastic service, and the food was delicious. I'd recommend the aguachile, the piña coladas, and hanging out for the people watching.

Wonderful, attentive staff. Great music from Michele on Wednesday and David on Saturday. Wish they were playing into the summer. Hopefully next season these two musicians will return and other days will have musical en vivo also! Very pleasant, hospitable owner.

I came here by chance. It was recommended by someone from Toronto I briefly met. I am throughly impressed. The guacamole is just perfect! Slight chunkiness and not overly salted. The bartender, Clemente, is most excellent! He gave good advice on what to order and gave accurate descriptions. The server, Miguel, was very friendly and attentive. The experience here was absolutely the best!! I will return during my visit on this trip!!
