The place was busy and our wait was about 35 minutes. We ordered pizza, gnocchi, and 2 types of fettuccine. The tutta carne pizza was really delicious!! The fettuccine dishes also really good. The gnocchi not as much to our liking, not as pillowy soft but it could be bec of preparation. The staff was very attentive and the portions were large. Definitely will come back here.

This place is the bomb. Being an Italian believe when I say this place is worth it. The service is great and the food just as much. Will be returning throughout my trip.

This is an amazing Italian restaurant. A bit hidden but well worth seeking out. Buzzing vibes, great food and service. We had pizza and salad and both were superb! They give you a complimentary limoncello and we couldn't resist geting a bottle to take home! Delish!!

The food and service here will makeup for any street traffic noise. It's worth the trip. We had Caprese Salad and a Pepperoni pizza with fresh mozzarella.

Best Italian Restaurant in town. It will be one of the best Italian food that you ever have. The place is an open restaurant, between the Center and Romantic Zone, in front or “Mercado de Artesanías “. The prices are good for the incredible quality of food! Please, do yourself a favor and take a night to try this place!

¡Excelente! We ate here four years ago and had a great meal. Once again, the pizza was excellent! Definitely worth the wait. Attentive wait staff, delicious pizza - the best we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend adding fresh mozzarella. Eat here - you will not be disappointed!

A cozy restaurant and the atmosphere is great better than its look. The price is very reasonable. It is always busy and the reservation is recommended. The pizza looks great which I haven’t tried yet. The Italian sausage penne was a bit salty but taste good. I go back to try some other dishes for sure. It only accepts cash only.

We happened to be the first patrons for lunch at 2 when they first opened. Service to get us seated, wasn’t the greatest-but could have been they weren’t quite ready to be open at 2… Once we were seated, the wait staff was very attentive. Ordered a pizza, which arrived quickly. It was good, and plenty big for 2 people. Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but equally not the worse I’ve had either. Restaurant was clean and had a cool atmosphere right on the high street in Centro-good spot for people watching while you enjoy some food and drink! It is CASH ONLY. We’d come back again, and try something else on the menu!

Margaritas are fantastic. Bread is amazing[ just right about of salt ] Prosciutto and melon. Did you see the size of the melons? Meat pizza with the best Italian Sausage in Mexico[ they also sell it by the kilo ].

My recent visit to L'Angolo di Napoli in Puerto Vallarta left me with mixed feelings. The restaurant, located in the heart of the city, offers a traditional Italian dining experience with a cash-only policy. We opted for the 'Tutta Carne' pizza to share, cooked in a wood-fired grill. While the pizza was fairly tasty, it lacked the 'wow' factor that I had hoped for. The crust had a nice crispiness, and the toppings were fresh, but the overall flavor didn't leave a lasting impression. Our waiter, however, was a highlight of the evening. Fairly friendly and fluent in English, he provided attentive service and was ready with recommendations. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy, offering a relaxed setting for a casual meal. One unique aspect to be aware of is that L'Angolo di Napoli only accepts cash, so it's important to come prepared. This might be inconvenient for those who prefer card transactions. While L'Angolo di Napoli is worth a try for its authentic Italian fare and friendly service, I personally feel that there are more culinary adventures to explore in Puerto Vallarta. The pizza, though decent, didn't leave a lasting impression, and for me, the lack of a 'wow' factor would likely deter me from revisiting. However, taste preferences vary, so if you're a fan of Italian cuisine, it might still be worth checking out. Explore the diverse culinary scene in Puerto Vallarta, and you might find other hidden gems that resonate more with your palate.

These reviews and the 4.7 rating are misleading in m my opinion. The review featured by Google was “I have never had Italian food this delicious in my life!!” While taste is subjective, to indicate that this would be the best Italian in your life or even close, is very misleading. I went to eat the Diavola Pizza and it is a cheap pepperoni pizza. I’ve had many Diavola pizzas across Europe (e.g. Spain, Portugal, France) and they are made with spicy Salami not pepperoni. I wasn’t expecting authentic Italian, being in Mexico, but I was at least, expecting good quality food from the first bite. I was disappointed and thought the pizza was comparable with something I might get from a fast food chain at best, more like a pizza offered at a gas station. I wound up breaking out shortly after eating the pizza and felt compelled to write this review for others like me that at expectation set from these reviews, which I don’t find to be accurate.

Solid Italian food at this small restaurant next to the malecón. The fettuccine al ragú is really good. The homemade tiramisu is amazing - one of the best I’ve tried. Fast and friendly service too. Well worth a visit.

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful - the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the staff! The owners have created a loving, family atmosphere for their staff and it was a joy to watch them interact. Lots of impromptu singing and laughing. I wish I could work here! No wonder there are so many repeat customers. Now, to the food... we were told although everything is amazing, to try the gnocchi and the pepperoni pizza. The pizza was amazingly delicious! True, Italian wood fired pizza bursting with flavour. The gnocchi melted in your mouth and left you wanting more. We didn't come to Mexico to eat Italian food, but we sure are glad we stopped in here. We will be back before we leave in a week! Thank you so much for for the bellisimo dinner

Ate twice here in less than one week. The pizza (pepperoni) was sooo good! Second time I went we shared another pizza and I had spaghetti carbonara.

Ok, we walked here and almost walked away as it was a little hidden and next to traffic. Believe me, worth all the hype. The staff is friendly and they look very happy, the synergies with the front and back of the house was it. And then, there is the execution of the food. Homemade past, freshly made sausage, gnocchi, you name it! Worth the wait, worth walk, worth it all. Amazing!

This place is an amazing gem. Doesn't look like much on the outside but the service and food was some of the best Italian food I have every had. Everything we ordered was amazing including dessert. Great value for the money. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place. All of the food, including pizza, are excellent. Such a treat to have this place in Vallarta with warm service and authentic Italian cooking. Bravo to the Owners and thank you for your masterful work! Those of us living here are so grateful to have you To my fellow reviewers, if your put off by the fact this small business has chosen to take cash only, please just pass on by and save your one star reviews for places you’ve actually eaten at or tried!! It’s very misleading and if you have to rate based on that one thing, perhaps deduct one star.. not 4!!! If you are too proud to swallow you ego and take some cash from the machine don’t make it a problem for small and incredible businesses like this.. please and thank you 🙏

Literally the best. I think about it at least 5 times a year when I’m back home. The fettuccine, calzone and meat lovers pizza. We also really enjoy a drink while waiting in line to be seated. The food is so consistent and delicious ❤️

Simply wow! I didn’t expect but this is truly delicious pizza and so worth the wait! Napolitano pizza is my favorite and I have a bar set very high to get satisfied but they know what they are doing here :) Service was great too. I highly recommend to check them out! It’s a cash only place.

Top tasting pizza and Italian food. Great service. Expect to pay more than 300 pesos per person. Plastic tables wobble making your drinks spill out of the glass. Bad sewer oder was present when the breeze blew from the parking building.

Superb Italian pizza and friendly service. Very reasonably priced too. Only real downside is that it is on a busy street, though protected by some trees so not completely exposed. The seating/decor is a little casual (not like an upper class Italian restaurant) but the food is excellent and its worth visiting for real Italian food.

Truly delicious and authentic Italian in Puerto Vallarta. Owner originally from Rome. Staff friendly and happy! Pizza was made in wood fired oven. So good. We also ordered gnocchi sorrentino, eggplant Parm and a calzone. Definitely go of you're craving Italian while in Mexico! Tiramisu was also house made and delicious!! Ready to find right of the Malecon

My favorite pizza in PV. We probably eat here once a week on average a year long. Love the owners and staff. A fun atmosphere and nice to be outside. The owners are good people.

We had a terrific dinner with other family one evening during our vacation. We were so happy to find this beautiful, little, outdoor patio serving fantastic Italian food. We anticipate that we will return each year upon our arrival back in PV. What a great find!

Must have been an off day… the mussels were really good. The rest, “yuk.” The special gnocchi looked like something that should be coming out of the mouth in volumes, not going in! Carbonara was runny like a curry… definitely not Guanciale. Wasn’t fried to a crisp. Special pizza are like cold cuts on bread and just a way to up charge for cheese on the side etc. should have just got the margarita pizza.
