I ordered the pork. It was beautifully presented. But when I cut into it, I first of all had a hard time cutting it! It was extremely overcooked, dry and tough. I couldn’t eat it! I mentioned to the server that it was over cooked, he asked me if I wanted to take it home. I realize that might be a problem in translation, however, there was no attempt to respond or comp me. I still paid full price for something I didn’t eat. There also didn’t appear to be any manager to speak to about it.

I can’t rave about this place enough. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect. I would rate this dinner a 10 out of 10. My dad had the salmon and I had the steak. BEST squid (calamari) I’ve ever had. There were also numerous diffeeent types of food for all tastes. All the food in Puerto Vallerta was amazing but I highly recommend this stop. It has a fancy feel and they treat you like a 5 star reataurant, and at the same time you can go as casual as you want. There are big screen tv’s If you would like to watch a game on silent with very relaxing music in the background. My server was Jorge, and he was FANTASTIC. He speaks English as well and has an immense knowledge about food, wine, and drinks. (He has even had his own restaurant so he knows all the ins and outs) Jorge and his team made the experience extremely memorable. The whole staff is great and also cater to food intolerances. The chef even made a sauce special for my dad since he is allergic to onions. The house red was from Chile and was fantastic. The bread was so good and the sauce that it comes with makes it taste delicious. This is the second time I have been here and I will go back every time I visit. It is priced perfectly as it doesn’t break the bank but it is worth every penny. The food, server, staff, conversations, and atmosphere make this place a perfect spot for friends, family, couples, and have something for everyone. This will be on my list of places to go every time I come and I left extremely satisfied. Thank you Jorge and DeCantaro!!! 20/10 stars!!!!

Stumbled upon this little gem whilst wandering around the town, the food looked delicious but we did not eat there but the cocktails were absolutely sublime with an amazing mixology menu and fresh cocktail elements to add to the cocktails. The drinks were super refreshing and the bartender was super passionate about his job and made every effort to make everything perfect for us. Decor was beautiful, simple but classic, had a great time.

The food was really good. The ambiance was nice and comfortable too. Service was great. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5-star is the crazy price of the bottle water. We didn’t expect a fancy glass-bottled water when we ordered “regular water” but didn’t think it would costs us 125 pesos which is equivalent to a meal here. Prices were not on the menu either.

Had Sunday Brunch. The service started a little slow but I was told that before being seated so no problem there. The food was great. Portions are small on the brunch menu but very very good food. The brown clams were outstanding. Would absolutely get them again.

Love the tiki bar here. Sebastian the bartender is number one. Gorgeous drinks (him too) and today I had banana flambe. He's an artist, drinks are lovely and the food is good.

My wife and I stopped by here a few nights in a row to get away from the party vibe of the strip. The staff here are the best - shout out to Jorge! We enjoyed a few cocktails, and a special house made liquor that we will remember forever. We will always visit De Cantaro when in PV. Salud and gracias for your hospitality

We stumbled upon this gem, and managed to get a table without a reservation. We had the grilled octopus as an appetizer and the Steak was amazing... cooked on a wood-fired grill! They had a nice wine selection. Excellent service by Jorge. We told all our friends that were down for the season to try your restaurant out. Thank you...

Beautiful place. Food was good. Good quality but way overpriced. On-line prices were almost 50% less than what the actual in restaurant prices are. Waiter Gume was very attentive and friendly.

Delicious food, excellent cocktails, good music (no Sweet Caroline) and professional young wait staff. Foodie approved. I ordered the steak and bone marrow tacos on the appetizer menu. Very filling. Covered seating in a chill atmosphere.

My husband wanted a fire grilled steak and this place delivered! Gume was professional and extremely knowledgeable in his liquors. We happens to be at the restaurant when there was a food tori going on so I learned about to get types of liquors Mexico makes and sampled them here. I would try raicilla again! The corn flan was very good if you like a corn tamale would will like this. Don’t hesitate to visit this place

I passed by this place so many times but I had never dined there until this week. The outdoor seating area is beautifully decorated. I ordered the BBQ ribs. They were a little dry and not as tender as I had expected. The cocktail however was delicious. I will go back for a second try.

Food is tasty. Menu is slightly limited and it leans toward seafood more than anything. Very diverse drink menu and food is freshly prepared so do not expect it to be quick. Service and staff are attentive and very accommodating. Atmosphere is warm and also vibrant with chill house music and it’s in view of a busy street in PVR.

Wish we could have stayed longer. The drinks and appetizers we had were special. Particularly the steak tacos with bone marrow. Everything was fresh and made with attention to detail

Excellent cocktails! The bartender, Jonathan, was a great mixologist. He delivered three unique hand crafted cocktails that were catered to our preference. We sat right at the bar as its a small space and got to see him put on a show making the drinks. Very well priced drinks! I highly recommend this bar.

Had dinner here with a couple friends and it was great. Our server was delightful and so helpful with all his suggestions. I had the chicken and ordered the cheesecake for dessert. Both were spectacular, my only complaint was the mashed potatoes had some strong over powering cheese in them that I could have done without. Other than that I was super pleased with my experience here.

I've been here 5 times over the years. One of the most overlooked and great restaurants in PV. They specialize in grilled meats: pork, lamb and steak. I've only had great, toe-tapping-good meals here. Below is the Tomahawk pork chop.. Javier, our server on both nights this trip, was great!

Great Steaks! Beautiful courtyard. We started off with the shrimp tacos which were juicy and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the rib eye which came with potatoes and asparagus. I had the Mexican Platter which came with a perfectly seasoned steak, chile rilleno, mole chicken, nopales, quesadilla with guacamole, and beans with bacon. Service was friendly. Husband liked the lava cake. Perfect date restaurant in Zona Romantica.

Amazing place , good food , good and friendly people. Overall a great place to eat or just hang out !! 100% recommended 👌 I went 3 days in a row and had breakfast, lunch and dinner 😋 oh and before I forget "KIKO " the bartender/mixologist is the best and has some awesome, new and interesting drinks 🍾

Our steaks were fantastic and cooked as requested. The mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The tiki drinks on the menu were perfectly crafted. I have no complaints about this restaurant. It’s definitely a location you need to try for dinner and drinks when in Puerto Vallarta.
