Home run of taco joints. I ordered the al pastor and they're probably the best tacos I've ever had. Very authentic restaurant- you'll even see them making the tortillas from scratch!

My favorite place in this town very nice food very tasty and very cheap 4 big tacos 75 pesos that’s almost 4$ People complaining about bathroom here KARENS !!! you paid 4$ for a meal get over it you are not in a Michelin restaurant here, it is just a taco joint. God some people were not meant for traveling

Tacos with handmade tortillas were delicious, asada and al pastor. Sadly, there are not enough options for tacos. They have other items on the menu, but the place is called "taquitos," so it's a little misleading. The dining area is super hot, musty crowded with suplies. Bathrooms are dirty and questionable. Service was ok, I guess. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK.

Dined here 3 times during my 6 days in PV. Great tacos, also had the Parrilladas twice and those were excellent as well. No aircon, no Wi-Fi and the shop faces a busy one-way cobblestone street (Calle Morelos). No frills, very good food.

We've been back many times and always have a good meal. Tonight was no different. What was different was that they had one person working the floor and serving about 30 people. She was running about but doing a good job of keeping up. She brought us our drinks and, in her rush, she knocked my wife's drink over right into my wife's lap. She was soaked, top, pants, underwear, socks & shoes. Okay, mistakes happen. I know this isn't the Ritz and it's not wall street but the right thing to do would've been to comp her meal. Well they didn't. I don't know, I think it was like 120mp ($10CDN) for hers. Well they got the 120 but it will be a while before they'll see another peso from us. Too bad. I didn't adjust the star ratings, that wouldn't really be fair, as tempting as that is. Third visit: December 30th, it's been months since we've been back to Mexico and here. The place was VERY busy I had the Diablito again. Mrs had the Torta pastor again. All was as good as we'd come to expect. The service was great. With 2 large Jamaica drinks & tip 300 pesos (about $20) Second visit: I had the Diablito, a fajita of green pepper, onion, chorizo sausage, bacon & cheese (comes with a stack of hot tortillas. Mrs. had tacos with pineapple and Al pastor (pork with Mexican spices flame broiled on a shawarma type machine). It comes with a plate of chopped onion & cilantro for a garnish. She had a side of fries. We split a plate of grilled (napole) cactus and each had a hibiscus tea (Jamaica) 310 pesos (just about $20) First visit: Nice pastor I had the alambre Al pastor (a fajita with Al pastor, onion, green pepper and cheese) Mrs. had the torta Al pastor (sandwich) with fries We both had the hibiscus tea. 250 pesos ($16.30 CDN) Good service.

Great food and a great value. Tacos are delicious, quesadillas my favorite and the hamburger was perfect I didn’t even add ketchup/mustard. It’s very affordable especially for the area. Don’t listen to some of the poor reviews here saying the food lacked flavor, they must’ve had COVID or a horrible palate. The bathrooms do lack but they’re free and I’ve seen worse. Service is great. If you’re looking for Americanized hostess and dedicated waiter service, you’re in the wrong country. Very polite staff and if you try to order in Spanish they are super helpful. My sister and I ended up going back at least 3 times, bringing friends and strangers as well. This is authentic as you can get. If you don’t like this place because you’re a pasty white American who thinks Taco Bell is the epitome of Mexican cuisine then stay away. I’d rather be greeted by a full house of locals than have to listen to your fat rolls complain about your mouth tasting real food.

Torta al pastor is absolutely fabulous, wife had 2 pastor tacos. Great no frills place, open spit grilling. Cold beers. Go here when in town, 2 blocks from hotel, better than mc d's.

I got the tacos all pastor with cheese. They were pretty tasteless. I was surprised because they are roasting it on a spit and usually you can't go wrong with that.

The staff were extremely nice and patient even though we didn't speak Spanish. The food was incredible. Especially the pastor with pineapple marinading it from on top. Truly exceptional! We highly recommend this.

After a long day on the boat we was walking past for our hotel and looking at the menu one of the locals said the food was good (in spanish) and from looking around noticed it was all locals and only one table empty its fair to say he was not wrong the food was amazing, friendly staff, speaking a little Spanish would be better for your visit

Wow, the best tasting al pastor tacos in Puerto Vallerta by far, the grill is ready to serve by 7 pm. Nice place, good style custom chairs and nice staff. Quite inexpensive and great quality, 45 pesos in 12/2018 for 4 al pastor tacos. Skip the lines at panchos takos, might take 2-5 min for a table. In afternoon, they only serve quesadilla which are decent. Tried the steak and onion tacos, very good too. The spicy green serano salsa is fantastic. When can we do this again?

Best alpastor tacos you can find, period! This was one of the first places I went to and I thought it was delicious. Only after visiting many other restaurants in town and returning here did I realize just how good these are. They’re extremely savory and I couldn’t help but smile after that first bite. It’s true that the best places are where the locals eat and this place is packed in the evening. The prices are great, 4 tacos for $60. I’ll definitely be back here the next time I visit!

The tacos here are lacking in flavour.

Open very late. Great food. Great prices. Accomodating service. Will take US$ at a bad exchange rate - 18 v 21.5. Many locals eat here. Watch the green sauce...very spicy!!

Stopped in for a bite and we were pleasantly surprised. Food is very good, service as well. Only issue is the heat as the fire almost inside cooking the spit coupled with the general heat/humidity, makes it a boiler.

Ordered tacos al pastor with some beer. They were great and if you like spicy salsas you're in luck. The atmosphere was ok, kinda. Do not use the toilet. There is no clear division between male and female. Women's toilet had no seat!

We were looking for some authentic taco, and someone recommended this place. So good, if you love hot hot salsa, the green salsa is the one.

Probably the best al pastor tacos in the Centro area a whole 4.50 USD for 4 tacos. Great service only a block up from the malecon.

Excellent taco restaurant that is great for dine in or takeout. Fresh and tasty tacos with very affordable prices. Our favorites are al Pastor and rib eye taco

I wouldn't recommend it to be honest. The tacos are mediocre and lacking flavor. You can find better elsewhere.

This place was awesome. Great tacos and staff. We had asada and al pastor tacos. They were fantastic.

In most Mexican cities I’d give this place a 4, but for Vallarta it’s absolutely a 5. Great prices, homemade tortillas, good pastor, tasty Jamaica, veryyyy good salsa verde and super fast service! This was my go to taco spot in my 2 months in Vallarta, unlike places like Panchos and other touristy taquerias, this is a place where the locals regular. Also has a very cool ambiance and vibe with their tables and chairs! You’ve gotta stop

I love this place. Went to Vallarta for 3 weeks and went here often. The chuleta and birria tacos/quesadillas are great. Definitely go here when visiting Vallarta.

Such incredible Al pastor. Great handmade tortillas, salsas, and the meat itself is just awesome.

Food was amazing. And service with a smile was attentive. Very casual and easy. Will definitely make a point of returning.

Incredible tacos al pastor. I could eat them without end! They are perfectly tender and the pineapple was amazing. The meat could have used just a little more flavor, but other than that, everything was great. With the tacos come several dishes of salsa that were great and with different spice levels too.
