I was blown away by the food at Mariscos La Tía. From the street, it's hard to tell what is on store for you. Inside, it looks like a regular taqueria you'd find anywhere along the side streets of el 5 de Diciembre. Then the menu arrived in the form of a professionally printed placemat with way more items than you'd expect, all reasonably priced. My wife ordered a tostada and one taco, bot con marlin ahumado. She expected two small portions, but was overwhelmed with two heaping plates of delicious smoked fish and salsa. After finishing the taco and starting on the tostada, she had to surrender and take the rest home. I opted for the burrita con sazon de la casa, and I had no idea what I was in for. I expected a marlin burrito drenched in sauce - messy and delicious. What I got was a gourmet presentation with a full two pounds of meat, veggies, and sauce. You have to look at the picture attached to comprehend the beauty of their plating-- my wife said "it looks like beautiful sushi!" 🤣 We both had drinks and left very happy, completely stuffed, and wholly satisfied with the experience. All of this was just over 400 MXP, including a 100 MXP tip. You can't beat the value and flavor.

Loved this authentic local seafood place! The food was excellent! The Cold Seafood Soup (with Abalone) was amazing. Full of seafood in a delicious tomato sauce with local vegetables. The Shrimp Tacos were excellent, generous portions and full of flavor. Definitely a place to take friends

Really good and flavorful mexican seafood spot. Saw Mostly locals and knew it was going to be better than anything geared towards tourists.

All the tourists go to Pepe's tacos right across the street and that makes it even better because it leaves this place pretty open, and Mariscos is daaaamn good. This place is amazing. Make sure to get the handmade tortillas with your meal . Many of their best dishes come with four or five different options for how you want to cook the meat and what kind of sauces you want. I love it!

Great Cafe on the fringe of main PV. Best coffee I've had in PV, only downside being long life milk but that seems to be unavoidable in Mexico, which is why I have still given 5 stars. The milk was silky smooth and frothy, coffee was strong. Food was really tasty, the Salas with chicken and ranch dressing had beans and corn which help fill you up a bit and the portion was very decent. My wife had a vege wrap and couldn't even finish it. Yummy potatoes on the side. Really nice fresh juice in tall glasses. Staff were really friendly, water with ice served. Cutlery in little pouches. Would definitely put it on your list if you're after a good value meal with a great coffee!

Newly renovated and looks awesome! This place is another tradition for my family. Deep fried Fish tacos are my go to with their homemade sauce always served on the side.

The marlin tacos may be my favorite taco I have ever had in my life. Great prices, great portions, great service, and a nice ambience a few blocks from the water. Most highly recommended if you are in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Will visit again!

Everything was good! Hard to find seafood at night. Be careful with the spicy / picante. The waiter warned my Mexican campanion and he didn't heed the warning and regretted it!

La Tía Was truly an amazing experience! We’ve tried many restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and so many are wonderful. However, this restaurant has a great combination of fusion Mexican flavors. The mixed seafood burrita is very flavourful, Seriously everybody was delicious. They’re special seafood soup broth has great depth and was also a wonder to eat! Chef cooks everything outside on an incredible little grill. The soup is simmering gently on his burner. You need to try out this the restaurant, you will be very pleased!
