Five stars for the experience, the setting, the hospitality, and the authenticity. The food was good but simple. Tortillas and meats were all cooked over open fire. We were the only gringos in the place surrounded by Mexican families on a beautiful Sunday for lunch. This was a great experience for our family of experienced diners and travelers.

Great Mexican food in a traditional family setting Once you try their freshly made tortillas you'll be spoiled and nothing will be the same Price is good and service is friendly. Cash only. Many combo dishes if you want to try different things on one plate As a bonus, they have a small stable with animals that you can look at. Even a fawn. If you're lucky you can try a pajarete (ask for one anyway) it's a drink from freshly squeezed cow juice (milk). It will put hairs on your chest

We enjoy visiting this place on the weekends with family and the hand made tortillas are the best, just a short drive from town.

I tried the chicharrón and beef tongue tacos and they were amazing. But also highly recommend the birria pellizcadas. The nata gorditas are a must. They are hand made at wood fire just like the tortillas. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience enjoying authentic Mexican food.

100% traditional Mexican Food. Eat like a farmer in Mexico. It is their slogan and it really describe everything that they serve. Also excellent service.

Our favorite place to eat when in Puerto Vallarta. Great food, friendly staff, and excellent prices. 30 minutes from the city but we'll worth it.

If I were invited to a Mexican home this is the food I'd be served. Very authentic Mexican food. The place is packed every Saturday and Sunday with Mexicans from town. The best salsa anywhere.

Very good food and selection, great prices, just don’t sit next to the Mexican Stoves (hornillas) it gets very hot and smoke makes you cry

Wow!!! Yummy tradicional food, beautiful service, music, very local, lovely, we adored this. Came out to look at a house, would come again just for the food and experience. Pretty sure we were the only gringos. What a delight 💛💛💛

The specialty is brochettes of meat cooked over an open flame to your liking. Served with rice, beans and the tastiest nopales. The complimentary dessert of rice pudding is delicious. Worth the stop.

This restaurant is quite busy. It is very cozy and their menu is quite extensive. They make their tortillas by hand. Their meat is prepared over coal. They give small dessert at the end of your meal. If your tortillas run out, you can ask for more! Meat was yummy! The tortillas are good. Cons-the bathroom was a bit dirty. The waitresses were not very welcoming, and the food (chilaquiles and tongue dish) was a bit cold. The art on the wall was nice.

👍👍 I eat here all the time. You can sit inside or outside. Great prices and the Hamburgers are the best in Ixtapa zihuatanejo. Comparable to hamburgers in the US! I always receive great service here from the staff and my food arrives about 10 minutes after my order is placed.

👍👍 The portions of the plates were pretty good. Also, the price range for a plate was similar to other restaurants in the region. Unless you eat at a small restaurant.
