We have arrived by 12 am as we stated when we're booking. Our flight had landed at 11:10 pm and right away I tried to call the reception but couldn't reach them. Once we have arrived to the hostel it was closed. No instructions on how to get in, no answering the phone. Me and my wife now have to find another place or go back to airport for the night.

Ok had to change my comment after spending almost a week in this place so...yes staff is helpful and place is well located BUT kitchen is disgusting private rooms have no windows smell like mold it actually got me sick and triggered asthma attack 2 days before we left which you guessed kind ruined the last days of my holiday the noise level is extremely high guests there have 0 respects for anyone trying to have some quiet time there and staff doesn't care neither we were woken up early mornings 5.30am 6am etc and late nights by loud laughters and eternal conversations taking place in the common spaces without any consideration to others.. needless to say bad experience overall will not go back there. Ten to Ten your pictures are nowhere near representative of the real state of your hostal and how dirty and neglected it can be 🙄 value us the clients more we didn't stay there for free we paid but the service was not there will not come back I guessed we paid for location and just that . Nevertheless first and last time for sure

Beware fellow travellers!!! Pics on Google does not match! Got a private room and it felt and looked like a prison cell. A/C was not working and no fan in the room. I cannot recommend this place nor would I go back 👎🏾

Had a great stay here (private room). Staff is beyond friendly and always happy to help. Great Ramen in the restaurant. A few things that could be even better: bathrooms are very warm, it can get noisy at times.

The bathrooms and toilets were very dirty. One toilet did not flush. The AC drive f not work properly. The kitchen was unhygienic and the fridge filthy. The staff were rude and unfriendlyy and was overcharged the wrong price.Olease do not go there. Bad place.

Don't really leave bad reviews but this place was very bad. The shared kitchen was in horrible condition, and the "clean" dishes were not clean. The fridge was filthy even though that was the day it was supposed to be clean. There is a Ramen restaurant on the main floor and the heat and smells from the kitchen overtake the entire place. The beds, sheets and everything smell like Ramen. I love Ramen, but it's not the best smell for a pillow. Vegetable grease and beds only mix if your into some niche stuff. Rooms lacked security and basic amenities such as a place to put your luggage. And There were half eaten peanuts and crumbs all over my room. worst was that after I immediately checked out and booked a nearby room, they told me they would refund my trip minus the first night. Fair enough, I understand loosing one night even though the place was not stayable. The next day I went for a refund and they refused, even though the night before they told me it was possible. Waste of time and effort, there are many other places in PV worth staying

The rooms weren’t ventilated, there was always a damp/wet smell in the room. The bathrooms weren’t very clean either, the shower lock was broken and whilst you were showering the light sensor would switch off. It also smelt of wee in the shower. The kitchen was quite filthy. Every time we went to lay down on the bed it would sound like it was broken. The room wasn’t very spacious. The only good things were the location as it was very close to the beach and the mattress was soft.

Great location, just a block away from the beach board walk. The room comes with fresh clean sheets and everything. Viridiana was super nice and thoughtful, she helped me to find a perfect place to do my recording job and she had totally saved my day! I hope I'll stay at ten to ten next time soon.

All ages of adult travelers being social and not on their phones, yet chill and not partying. Safe. Many people from Mexico stay here which is fantastic. Exceptional staff that provided loving care and extensive assistance for a sick solo female traveler. Very clean, great mattresses, solid bunks and furniture, bottled water dispenser, very hot water and soap and shampoo in fancy showers, excellent WiFi. No hostel can provide every comfort and amenity but this one covers a long list of top priorities. Muchas, muchas gracias a Ten To Ten Vallarta staff!

I stayed in a private room for two weeks and it was great. Staff is super friendly. Bed was very comfortable. A/C worked great. The best part though is definitely the location. One block to the Malecon and ocean. Just a 20 minute walk along the beach to the Los Muertos pier in the heart of the romantic zone.

What can I say? It's a hostel. The location is perfect. The staff are great (shout out to Hector!).

Was a great stay! The beds were nice, lockers were big, and the blackout curtains were great. The ramen was fantastic, especially mapo tofu ramen, staff was great too. The wifi could improve as it doesn't work on the roof deck. And i do wish each bed had a hook to hang the towels to dry

Very friendly & helpful staff, good location, but the pictures are extremely inaccurate. I was very disappointed to see how the actual condition of the rooms was much worse that what's presented in the pictures. On the positive side, the receptionist was very kind and understanding of my disappointment, and offered me to cancel & get a refund (even without me asking for it). Also, the hostel doesn't offer social activities or events. If you're looking for a laid back, chill stay, and don't care about the condition of the room, then this might be good for you.

It was ok but needs improvements. 1. I wish they had a big locker that could fit a backpack and computers. 2. The Wifi signal sucks. It couldn’t reach the room where I was. 3. Need better and comfortable chairs in the kitchen.

Beat hostel I’ve stayed in in Puerto Vallarta. Great price, great location, good sound proofing and even in a dorm it has your own privacy. Pictures taken from 15mins from hostel.

I couldn't ask for a more central and reasonably priced hostel! 2 mins walk to the malecón. The shared room had plenty of space for me to put my stuff beside my bed. Joseph made my stay very pleasant here. He always made me feel welcomed. There's a shared kitchen and shared bathrooms with 3 toilets and 2 showers each. They also have individual rooms that look very spacious if you pay $30 or so more!

We had a private double and while it was very basic it did the job. It’s what you would expect from a hostel. The staff were lovely and helpful but the room could be a bit cleaner. Otherwise for 1 night it did the job for us!

The staff were very nice and helpful, they were great! However, the facilities were not. There’s no place to just relax even though the have a large empty roof. And in the summer months they turn the A/C on at 9pm (set at 29c or 84f), but during the day they don’t even have fans! It was too uncomfortable to try be there during the hot days.

Close to beach, very nice staffs, clean rooms, and quiet at night. You can have great Ramens on the first floor. I recommend to stay here if you don't have any plans to stay.

Overall pretty good, the staff speaks English and Spanish. Its near the beach. The first floor has vegan raman bowls for about 8 USD. good food. second floor is the room. there is locker to lock stuff or you can ask them to put big bags in a closet. includes a kitchen, outdoors balcony, showers, towels, wifi, towels, sheets. Good place to stay on a budget.

It's hard to really comment on this place since it was my first time staying in a hostel and we checked in around 8:00pm and checked out the next morning around 9:00am. Before checking in here we had just come from four nights at the all-inclusive Secrets Vallarta Bay Resort and we left the next morning to go to Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa so how can you compare. This was just some place to spend the night. All we did was shower (with cold water) then went out and came back to sleep. There were only a few people so it was quiet, except for the loud music from nearby that came straight down the stairway from the open rooftop. Other than that, the hostel is in a great location right in the middle of downtown and the staff were very friendly. At check-in they even gave us towels to use.

Not a hostel atmosphere at all. No socializing possible maybe due to the fact that there is no nice communal space.. . The kitchen wasn't clean and very well equiped. The staff doesn't speak any English.

Super nice hostel. Staff, cleanliness, location, vigan ramen at the cafe in GF, AC and Wifi is high quality. If you come Puerto Vallarta I recommend stay here definitely!!!!

Great clean hostel. The beds are great with privacy curtains, light and charging ports. They also turn on a/c during day time to beat the heat. Would recommend and stay here again

Do not stay in this hostel! It’s a 20 min walk from downtown and the management and volunteers are very two faced, interfering in your personal life behind your back, gossip about travellers and unprofessional response when you raise a concern about these issues. Hygiene is also an issue as the manager’s daughter does not wash her hands after using the lavatory in covid times and then walks around the whole restaurant and upstairs hostel touching everything. Travellers were coming down with mysterious stomach bugs. There are much better options in central downtown seconds from all the cute cafes. I would recommend professional places like Belmar and traditional hotel villa del mar to stay and you can negotiate a good price which cost less! If you crave oriental food I would recommend Siam Cocina Thai in downtown has professional staff and has vegan options too.

Top notch customer service. Extremely friendly staff that were super accommodating. The rooms were very clean, and the location is ideal. I would definitely stay here again.

My fiancée and I stayed here and it was a great little hostel! The location really couldn't be any better for staying in centro. Restaurants, bars, the beach are all within short walking distance. Zona Romantica is about a 12 minute walk. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They even offered to clean our room and change our linens half way through our stay. The room itself is simple but has all the necessities you need, keep in mind it is a hostel! The bathroom and showers were clean, shower pressure could be better but I don't think that is the hostel's fault. Overall, would stay here again and would recommend staying here to others. Thank you guys!

We LOVED our stay at TenToTen! The location is amazing, a block away from the Malecon, a couple minutes walk to zone Romantica and has so much to do and see around it. Stayed in a private room and had lots of space and the A/C worked great. Common areas were always kept clean. The vegan Ramen downstairs is a MUST HAVE! It was delicious I think we ate our way through the whole menu and still want to go back! The last thing that must be mentioned is the staff! The team that works here staff and volunteers are lots of fun, always welcoming and willing to help. They are always there to answer questions, suggest cool things to do and great local places to eat. Would for sure come back and highly recommend the stay here!

This hostel is one of the best I'be been staying (and there are a lot). It's nice, dorms are good, tidy and weel organized. The staff is super friendly and always down to help you when you need something. No hostel deserves more its name than this one. See you one day again guys!

I've stayed at Ten to Ten twice now and both times the staff have been very nice and made checking in & out easy. Great location and room was solid too. For the price, would definitely stay again!

The orange chicken was exceptional and the homemade ginger ale was incredible! Definitely make a point to try this place out.

The pictures in the ads look far better than the actual rooms or the living areas. It looks poorly maintained and the prices are certainly NOT worth the rooms you are getting (at least the ones we were shown). The rooms without windows reminded me more of a dungeon than a room. Perhaps they have some decent rooms, but we didn't see them.

  • 4/5 Anna B. 8 months ago on Google
Staff are lovely and cleanliness is top notch, but it's beyond me why the price is comparatively higher all while the kitchen, beds, lockers and common spaces are significantly smaller than other hostels in the area.
