I
arrived
this
September
in
Puerto
Vallarta
with
a
stiff
back
and
foot
pain.
I
was
attracted
to
Kireth
Spa
mainly
due
to
the
decent
4+
star
reviews
and
it’s
proximity
to
where
I
was
staying.
A
fair
skinned
female
attendant
who
seemed
to
speak
good
English
was
on
duty
and
there
were
no
other
attendants
or
customers.
I
explained
that
I
was
looking
for
some
relief
for
my
pain.
The
attendant
quoted
$25
for
30
minutes
of
foot
massage
and
about
$50
for
30
minutes
for
the
back.
What
I
experienced
was
a
totally
frustrating
disappointment!
The
massage
was
100%
ineffective
without
any
pressure
being
applied
to
the
painful
areas
of
my
body
and
absolutely
useless!
The
attendant
spent
the
entire
time
mildly
applying
some
moisturizer.
When
I
requested
her
to
apply
some
more
pressure
to
relieve
some
of
my
pain
points,
she
claimed
in
Spanish
not
understanding
any
of
my
words!
She
seemed
to
have
suddenly
forgotten
all
her
English!
The
sheets
on
the
massage
table
were
visibly
unwashed
and
dirty
making
the
back
massage
even
much
more
miserable
with
more
of
her
moisture
application
and
me
lying
face
down
on
filthy
linen
in
a
dark
little
dingy
room.
When
my
massage
ended
she
made
up
the
same
dirty
sheets
again
for
their
next
unfortunate
customer.
I
was
glad
to
get
out
of
the
place
knowing
that
I
had
sadly
walked
into
a
classic
tourist
trap!
