Great location, good food, good service. Authentic local flavors. We started with the Tortilla Soup, which was very good. The Mexican Plate was a delicious collection of local favorites. Served with chips and salsa for the table.

Best Mexican food for your dollar in Puerto Vallarta. I’ve been here multiple times you should with large groups and we all share our food. Also the steaks look amazing. I had barbecue chicken twice baked potato and vegetables as I had way too much Mexican the last week. Great flavor.

I ordered the mixed Fajitas, it was bland and it did not come with any rice and lettuce on the side. There was a lot of peppers taking up half the dish. The complimentary chips were hard. the Fajitas was mediocre, they skimp out on a lot of components that was SUPPOSED to compliment the fajitas. Very bland. location and service is good 2 stars but the main star is the food.

From the outside, you can’t tell how big this place is. Prices are very good but food was just meh. They got my kid’s order wrong and brought us something completely different. When I asked the waiter, he was completely confused for a few minutes. I had pointed at the bear shaped hot cakes and even had asked him if it came with some fruits. He quickly got over it and said they would bring the right order soon. The other problem was my food was cold. I took one bite and it was like eating leftover food. Nobody likes cold eggs and much less after waiting long for it. It was a very disappointing experience.

The chilaquiles we’re good. The burrito was AWFUL. Dried asada meat and beans. Nothing more in it. The rice and peas were really bad too. Giving it a 4 star because the location, prices, service, and chilaquiles were good.

I did not expect this beautiful restaurant in there. The name gave me the impression it is a Café shop. And only based on my friends, we went there, after some waiting because the place was busy. Love to get back and order something different. Highly recommend 👌

Café de Olla was delicious. I came here for breakfast a few years ago and was very middle road about it but I came for dinner this trip and was really pleased. I had octopus with a side of veggies and everything was cooked perfectly. The ajillo seasoning was great but it could have even have been a little stronger. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals. The other standout was the tortilla soup. I will come here again the next time I visit and I will probably get the ajillo octopus.

Good value. Not gourmet but excellent for its price point. Varied menu, mainly Mexican. Large portions. Tasty. Friendly service. Noisy, but nice looking place. People line up for Pancho’s Takos when they can sit down and have a nice dinner right next door.

Excellent lime margarita on the rocks, and the chicken tortilla soup is outstanding. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Restaurant is much bigger than it appears from the sidewalk.

Large portions, food is incredible tasty. Their burritos are to die for. Be aware, this restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and you cannot pay using credit / debit cards. CASH ONLY

Great restaurant with a great breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Thought there was a wait that went rather quickly. The atmosphere is amazing and clean. The staff was very nice and bilingual. We ordered breakfast and lunch since it was noon. All of the food was delicious and the portions were large enough where we had to take food home.

Always one of our stops while in PV. Food is good (above average), service is fantastic. We always get the ine thing you won't see on the menu, but you can still order it. Has filet mignon, lobster, shrimp, twice baked potato, rice & veggies. Perfect for two people (and then some!). Also we think they have the best Tortilla chips and hot sauce. Fantastic!

Delicious for breakfast or lunch. I ordered a iced espresso with some coconut milk, a Bloody Mary, and our table shared nachos and Chile Relleno. The portions are large and everything is super flavorful. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. This is a place you do not want to miss at all.

Delicious food! We had a lunch there and the food was breathtaking. Guacamole was my personal favourite and all the tacos were very tasty! Fruits were fresh and amazing! Very delicious! Margaritas were also very good ❤️ definitely suited well with our vacation.

Went here for dinner during my stay in PV. It’s a charming and cute restaurant. The service was good, the servers were attentive and we got our food fairly quickly. We ordered the pork ribs and octopus. The pork ribs weren’t the best, a bit on the drier side, I don’t recommend this. The octopus with rice and veggies though was delicious! The portions are also huge, I had leftovers for lunch the next day. The price is very reasonable for the portion size. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting PV and looking for a good octopus dish.

Very good food and service. Busy place. There were musicians and a dancer in traditional dress. A bit of a wait to get in, but worth it.

Good service, good food but nothing really special or out of this world. Fish and seafood plateau is alright. Tacos and guacamole are very nice.

We went for a late breakfast on a Wednesday. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing. You know it's good when the restaurant is packed with locals. My son said we are going back for breakfast again tomorrow. The place is large as it is misleading from the front entrance. It extends back a good 80 feet or so with more dinning.

We were very frequent dinners here . Was here last week and then this week 7 days the golden margaritas totally different had to order a gm shot to make it golden. Totally different vibe and quality. We will try again and then decide. Hope it was just an OFF NIGHT and not the new normal

Walk by this gem of a restaurant for years without going in . Don’t make the same mistake, larger inside then it appears from the street and the 4 dishes we had were all amazing. Special note for the mixed fajitas

I recommend this place for only breakfast (and do not recommend their lattes). The chilaquiles is good! I ordered it with chicken and two eggs. The pancakes are very good. I did not like the latte at all.. I’d recommend going to another cafe for coffee.

I’ve walked by Cafe de Olla often on other trips but never came to eat. I’m glad I stopped in this time. The service was good, the enchiladas were delicious, and they have AC in the back. I’ll be back!

Everyday at this place has a long line at dinner time, it’s crazy so I decided to come check it out during lunch time. The menu looks very tex-mex. The space is cute, colonial decor. They only accept cash. The service is super fast they kept coming to check on us too. The fish soup is very delicious with a lot of shrimp and fish cubes, some octopus and mussels as well, there’s a half small lobster and half crab, really good for the money. The fish taco are ok, I prefer the deep fried ones that’s more juicy inside.

This place is a definite visit if you’re looking for some good and authentic Mexican food in town. The burritos are very good although a bit salty and my girlfriends was slightly burnt. Overall a great experience though. The people were friendly, there was live music, the limonada was excellent, and the tequila here is extremely smooth.

Delicious! I had several meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. for dinner they have this secret menu platter for two with twice baked potatoes, lobster, steak, shrimp Omg! Just thinking about it makes me hungry! (Pic shows it split for two)

Good food at very reasonable prices and good portions (not huge, but plenty of food). There can be a wait at peak times, but not too long (maybe 15 minutes). Close-out service (getting the check and a take-out box) was a bit slow today, but we were not in a hurry, so it didn't really bother us. We will go back. The plantains were cooked perfectly!!

2/2022(Wed) 14:00 hours . Not crowded. I finally had the chance to try this place. It’s worth the hype. Friendly staff, tasty food and delicious drinks. Mango daiquiri : they use fresh mangos . Very addicting. One of the best, if not the “BEST” in PV. BBQ combo: chicken, ribs and steak. Everything were cooked to perfection . Tender , juicy and fall off the bone goodness(Chix and ribs) . The bbq sauce had the right amount of tangy, smoky and a hint of sweetness. The vegetables(cauliflower, broccoli , radish, cucumber, carrots and scallions) were fresh and crunchy . Don’t forget the complementary fresh salsa , sauce and chips. The chips tasted like “ Doritos “. You can taste a hint of the fire roasted corn . Hands down the best I’ve tasted in PV. If this review was helpful give it a 👍👍👍 Happy travels
