The room was extremely big with amazing view of bay and mountains. Also had a hammock and a mini hot tub and the room service food was good. The service fell short of expectations from a high end resort though. Examples - Concierge seemed mainly interested in having us sign up for the vacation club and wasn’t helpful in anything else. She called multiple times even at the room to make us sign up for the tour and when she knew that we won’t, it was as if we didn’t exist there. - They gave us a reservation for a restaurant that was closed for the night and we only found out once we got there with two hungry kids - The front desk was chaotic even for checkout with a long line of waiting guests If you go here, maybe stay first a couple days, enjoy the view and keep your service expectations lowered.

Beautifully decorated and designed resort. Unfortunately the hotel is designed around guests that want to do nothing but relax at the pool. There was zero nightly entertainment aside from a musician at the restaurants for about an hour. Everything shuts down here at 11pm and the dress code is pretty strict. Lastly, this is a timeshare resort and they will try their hardest to convince you to purchase a timeshare with them. Even after you attend the presentation. Staff becomes slightly rude if you do not tip every time even for marginal service. Your first few days it is hard to tell what is all inclusive because at the end of every bar/restaurant they make you sign the receipt which reflects your total cost (even though it’s zero). Overall not a terrible resort but for an older crowd that is ok being around timeshare holders and a bountiful amount of children.

I'll start this by saying that this has been the worst hotel my wife and I have stayed at ever. Worse than 1-2 star motels and hole in the wall inns across various countries. While I initially wanted to mentally allow for some of the hotel's delays as the area suffered from a recent hurricane, I had called and emailed the hotel and my booking agency prior to my travel and was assured that they only had minor damage and were fully operational. To start, our group was traveling with 7 couples/14 people. 3 couples decided to keep their reservations and travel because the hotel reassured us that they were operational. First when we arrived, we were told that the hotel had cancelled my wife's and I reservation. After some calls, the front desk said "Sorry it must have been an error, all is good, nothing happened here". We were told that our rooms would take an hour to turn over and were turned to the concierge team to tell us about the compound. As we are finishing up a tour of the map, our concierge tells us about a VIP deal that will get us free breakfast and 15% off our dinners and massages for the rest of the trip. This pitch was entirely a ploy to bind people's vacation time to a sales pitch for a timeshare property. Read some of the reviews citing timeshares on here for more information. But if you say you want to go and don't show up to the pitch they charge your room $40 (unfortunately one of our group fell for this trap). Additionally, while this large group of people (see attached photos) calls itself a concierge team, none of them are actually helpful to running the hotel as we soon find out with the rest of our story below. Their only function is to sell timeshares. In the time we waited for our room to turn over, we asked if our concierge could get us into a very open restaurant for lunch, to which he seemed to barter with the restaurant's hostess. He later tried to get us reservations for dinner but he was unable to do so because this team of people doesn't actually work for the hotel. We ate our lunch and took well over the hour to get back to the front desk. However we were told that our room was not ready yet and they couldn't reach the housekeeping staff to find out when. Mind you we arrived at the hotel at 2 PM. Their check out time is 11 AM. We didn't actually get into our room till 7:30 PM. We were able to get our hotel keys earlier because the front desk staff said "they didn't want us to keep coming back to check on the room" and it would be ready at 6 PM. It wasn't. The housekeeping staff that I found working on the rooms below the floor which we were staying at still told us about another hour when we went to check to see if the room was turned over. Also we find out the housekeeping staff isn't actually employed by the hotel either and they're just there cleaning for today. When we finally do get into our rooms seconds after seeing housekeeping close the door, we see that the ceiling is completely cracked and leaking directly onto the bed. A puddle has already soaked through the mattress (photo attached), yet no one from housekeeping mentioned this problem to us or the front desk. Obviously, a rain soaked bed and a wet and moldy smelling room necessitates a room change. We head back to the hotel front desk, and despite hours of talking to them and their "supervisor" I was told that the bed would be moved. No offer to comp our night tonight, move rooms, or upgrade us despite my asking. They could not move us to a new room because they had "none available" from hurricane damage. Mind you 4 couples from our trip cancelled. Also, we called and were assured this hotel was operational. What would have happened to our other couples if they had chosen to come. We still did not want to put our health at risk staying on the top floor of a leaking, structurally damaged ceiling, in a moldy room so they luckily had cots for us to join our friends in their rooms. This is just night one. We still have two more nights in this God forsaken hotel. This is not at all a 5 star hotel.

The resort itself is very nice. The rooms are clean, the staff is incredible, the restaurants are tasty. Be aware that they will hound you about attending a time-share presentation. Don’t do it. They say it’s only an hour of your time, but it looked like they took people’s entire day. Just say no immediately. We declined and suddenly became invisible to the concierge staff (she told us dinner reservations were made; they were not). It’s off-putting that they hound you about this right at check in. Also, our final bill was way over what it should be. We’ll be contacting the resort to find out why they charged us twice. I’m hoping to get it resolved immediately. Just make sure to keep all your receipts and be wary of the staff dressed in black (concierge), they’re jackals.

The good: The rooms are big like as big as our whole house big! The tub is giant and has ocean view in our room. The housekeeping was on point. The balcony is big enough to host a party. The pools were fantastic and the service poolside for drinks and snacks is exactly what we needed. The bad: There is a hard sell on time shares here and they sorta flag you down and offer you this and that to sit through a tour and sales pitch. So don’t say you’ll think about it or be indecisive just say NO. It’s sometimes hard to get a ride into town. The restaurants are just OK.

DO NOT STAY HERE TOTAL SCAM So we were a family of 15 celebrating a family event. I mad the reservation in March and was told they could accommodate us all for the all inclusive stay. Almost weekly we would get emails from "Our concierge" asking if we need any help spending more money with spa appointments, room upgrades, flowers or champagne to the room, transportation, and other excursions. Not once did they mention dinner reservations. When we got to the hotel we realized that the true goal of he hotel is to get you to buy a timeshare they must have 40 people a day getting tours and great service trying to get them to buy. We were not interested so we could not get dinner reservations at the restaurants as a group from most of he nights. We had to order room service the first night that took 3 hours for all 15 to get dinner. The did get dinner in the steakhouse (terrible by the way) one night at 8pm when we arrived there we were told that they could not seat us together and some of the group would have to eat later. I was not happy and after 20 minutes of waiting and not letting them sit one of the tables we ate at the same time but not together. We had to eat out for 3 nights at our cost after paying for all inclusive. We hen finally got a reservation at the same time in the same area. That morning the hostess came to the pool and told us it was cancelled. I went to speak to the food and beverage manager and he reinstated our reservation. The worst part was that they told us they were overbooked and there where more than half the tables empty the entre time we were eating there. At check in they continually asked us to upgrade to an ocean front room, even though we already had them. We had 5 suites 2 3bedroom, one 2 bedroom and 2 one bedroom. All had ocean view so not sure what they wanted to charge 500 more a night for. They tell you when you make the reservation that the Covid test is free with your stay. Not true, you get the amount of the test in credit for the gift shop or spa which of course either leaves money behind or costs you more. To top off the whole trip one member of our group had her phone stolen from a staff member. We had to fight for them to find it since she could track it through her kids phone and we knew it was in the service building of the hotel. After telling them we would call the police to look at the video from the area it was taken, somehow they managed to find it and said that the employee who found it just forgot to turn it in 8 hours later. No apology no compensation for spending a whole day looking for a phone that was stolen. Not a care for us at all. Now I have come home to see that the charge that they said would be a hold on my CC was actually 500 dollar charge that I now have to dispute because they refuse to refund me. I spoke with the hotel and was told it is a hold not a charge even though I have tried to tell them the charge went through they still will not do anything. It is a beautiful hotel in a majestic setting but will never be on par with the best hotels with the management they have in place. Customer service is the number one priority for a vacation spot and they have none.

Pure luxury. This was a beautiful resort. We shared a suite with friends that had an amazing view. The patio had a hot tub and you could see the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The meals were fabulous and included with our package. You could choose between 3 restaurants or room service. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. You could get drinks but the pool anytime and it was all included. There were lots of fun activities including hiking, kayaking, yoga, spa options and snorkeling. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a beautiful get away.

An absolutely wonderful and beautiful resort. We will 100% be back. It’s a little far from the airport and downtown and it’s not entirely adult only, but the views, service, amenities, and food are all worth the price. Highly recommended! The rooms are spacious and gorgeous and ultimately, it’s an outstanding resort.

We celebrated Christmas at this resort in 2021 (Dec 19 - Dec 26). Let me start by saying that the resort is great, most of the hotel staff was amazing, we were impressed by their friendliness, always a smile on their face, and their desire to make sure we were getting the best attention possible. Members of your staff that I want to recognize include, Ramon who is a server in the pool area, Roberto down by the beach and Rosa who was cleaning our room in the second half of the week. While I didn't capture the names of the people that helped us at the various restaurants in your property, their service was amazing. The property has a nice variety of restaurants, our favorite ones were the Italian place at the beach and the Japanese restaurant at Mousai. For all of these reasons I give this hotel a 5-star rating; however our experience with their check-in staff is sub-par. The hotel was not able to deliver what was promised when it comes to accommodations. In May 2021, we booked a panoramic suite. Christina assisted us during check-in, and she indicated that we were not going to be in a panoramic suite. She was checking us in at one of their ocean front rooms. We were going to be added to the waiting list to be moved to our original reservation 3 nights later. The following day, I checked the status of the move with Stephanie and she indicated that we could move to a panoramic suite on Building 5 that day, great news until we moved in. While it was suite the view was of two large palm trees. The following day, I spoke with the supervisor to find out what was going to be available on Wed (their original offer). He promised me a high floor (higher than the 6th floor) on Building 4. We were looking forward to it. Wed morning we got a call that we would not have that room that day, we needed to wait another day. Needless to say, I was very frustrated, Stephanie told us she would move us to a higher floor in Building 5. Much better than what we had but again not what was promised by the supervisor earlier in the week. After 1/2 of our vacation had elapsed, we could finally relax and unpack. Then it came time to check out. I looked over my bill and found a couple of errors, the first one was an over charge at the Japanese restaurant. After 30 minutes of the person helping me with the checkout process working with their accounting team, she indicated that I needed to write a note indicating that I refuse to pay for that additional charge. Why would I get a copy of the receipt that I signed at the restaurant with the amount I agreed to pay and be charged a higher amount at check out? In addition, there was an automatic gratuity charge that is distributed amongst the staff and that every premier member must pay. I was never told about this charge at the check-in process and in addition I was not treated as a premier member. To have it removed, I had to write another note. For what we paid, I expected a much better experience than what we experienced.

The resort is beautiful and the food was really good. The rooms are larger than any other resort we have ever stayed in. Here is the reason for only three starts. They push the timeshare meeting on you from the moment you check in. We were not interested and didn't want to be bothered with it. We went to an ALL INCLUSIVE resort. Its states in all the info that gratuities are included. I don't mind giving extra for hard work, but we were asked repeatedly to leave extra money for a tip. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, food by the pool, the bars, everyone tells you that you can leave extra. I pay for all inclusive so I don't have to worry about spending more money. It became very uncomfortable. we were traveling with a large party. the only time they could accomodate us for dinner was a 9pm every night. we tried to book in advance, but its very difficult to get anyone to respond.

We had a suite in the panoramic tower and it was wonderful with beautiful views. The servers and staff were attentive and hard working. Most of the food was great. I took stars off for a couple reasons. Firstly, the resort is expansive and they have only 2 trollies to take you around which is not enough. You end up waiting and a few times it was full and we had to wait for the next one. The second reason I took stars off is because the cut off for the "all inclusive " is at noon on the day you check out without any compromise. We explained that we were planning on eating lunch before our flight and were not aware of this rule. They were unaccommodating. They said that the concierge should have told us upon check in but we were a group of 5 and no one was aware of this rule. All in all the staff is wonderful and the rooms are nice but as a family that travels to Mexican resorts 3 times a year, I will not be coming back to or recommending Garza Blanca

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! Very, very good. This resort is wonderful all around. The service is simply exceptional. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The beach and pool areas are very nice and well maintained. I highly recommend staying here.

Our stay truly was magical. We got married here and Cynthia, our wedding planner really went above and beyond to make sh!t happen for us and our guests. I did have to follow up and be in constant communication but I would have easily opted for my experience again and again with Garza Blanca before anywhere else. The food was great. The only compliant.. they didn’t leave our cake and the workers took it 😂🫠 but hey, we had a piece and again it was worth it. I changed my venue probably 4 times and really just had a great experience.

I went here for my honeymoon in November 2022 and the honeymoon suite was breathtaking!! It's a smaller resort, so it wasn't crowded which is nice. Check-in took three hours, which was very frustrating. We emailed ahead of time that we'd be there at one but didn't get our room until 4 pm. Communication was lacking. We kept getting phone calls every 2 hours in our room and even a visit by hotel staff to our lounge chairs by the pool about upgrading to a VIP membership, which we respectfully declined. The push for this is common at Mexican resorts, but a bit of a turn off when you've only just arrived. We got a ten minute notice by phone about the car service to the airport for check out, which we paid USD$55. We missed the car by a minute and he wouldn't come back and the hotel would not refund us. We ended up getting a taxi to the airport for $17, on our own...less than a third of the cost! The highlight was our honeymoon suite and our $300 romantic dinner on the beach with a photographer they surprised us with. The photos were $95.

My heart is broken after having my wedding here and Garza Blanca just completely dropping the ball on everything. There is no doubt that the resort is beautiful, but the hospitality, or lack there of, is incredibly disheartening and made our experience awful. For 6 days, they stressed us out, only cared about money, made us feel like a burden and just didn’t make us feel special as ordinary guests, yet alone THE BRIDE AND GROOM THAT JUST BROUGHT 140 PEOPLE TO THEIR RESORT. Cynthia, the “wedding planner” was awful. Didn’t even see her. Asked her to come down to meet me when we first got there because we literally experienced issues upon check in, and she straight up did not come. Fast forward to wedding day… They crashed one of the two trolleys the day before our wedding and it delayed everything. The groomsmen were stuck for 45 minutes before a trolley came down - they said the driver was “on break” ??? You’d think they’d time it so that when 140 people need to be at one place for a WEDDING CEREMONY they’d 1. Make sure there’s people operating the trolleys and 2. Rent a sprinter van to make up for the trolley that was out of service. Mind you, we rented a sprinter van so that it can make things move more swiftly - assuming they’d have 2 trolleys going? The delay then caused our ceremony delay, which caused our reception to be delayed and then our after party delayed.. an hour that they did not compensate us for. We didn’t even want compensation, we just wanted our after party to be extended an extra hour since we were so delayed. And they were disgustingly rude about it. This is just one of the many issues we had. Most of our guests also had issues. And while we get it , the world is short staffed, I’ve never experienced such poor hospitality… just as an ordinary customer yet alone as the bride and groom. I’m writing this review in hopes that I can help any future bride and groom NOT select this hotel, because they severely impacted how our day went. I’m so sad that we will never return to the place where we got married. It was that bad. Food was also sooo bad - I’m confused that they’re known for having good food.

Justin and Christy, you two are amazing. If you buy, find them! They will work with ask levels of buyers. They are not high pressure. They want to sell a product. You go in knowing this. The time you spend, well, anything over 90 minutes including an amazing meal, that is an in your doing. Eat, pitch, and leave... 90 minutes. They got it down. We were close... like bring out champagne close. And nothing to do with them or the resort. More about personal insight and the universe. If you go for one of these deals, take the time and really explore. Listen. And go on knowing two things... What your personal top to invest and bottom to walk away. The other thing, what time do you really have or want to make to make this devising on the spot? Allow yourself to make this day a do nothing else day. And, book at least one excursion after the presentation. We did and it was worth it.

We love Garza Blanca. The food is amazing. The views are great. The rooms are bigger than your house. The beach is great with drinks and food brought to your chairs. We love this place. We came for our honeymoon and again for my 40th birthday with friends. They all love it just as much as we do. Bravo!

Can’t wait to go back! Checking in and out was a breeze. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Love having the trolleys available to get around the resort and Ubers to downtown were reasonably priced. Turn down service each night, rooms cleaned daily and mini fridge restocked daily as well. If using room service, expect a lengthy wait for breakfast. Lunch and dinner will come fairly quick. We had a panoramic Junior suite—extremely spacious, cute decor and gorgeous views. We accidentally got locked on the patio one day and maintenance came in less than five minutes to rescue us :)

I can't wait to come back. The spa is fantastic. The food and atmosphere are amazing. And the staff were awesome in every way. Raquel helped us pick some day trips, and she nailed it, they were epic! And Alison took such great care of us. I hope to see everyone next year.

This place blew me away...My first assumption was that an all-inclusive would be lacking on the quality of food, service, drinks, etc.....but boy was I wrong! From the moment we got there, the service was amazing. Food was delicious, high quality! The Sushi restaurant in Musai was amazing! Make sure to make an appointment. I believe it was Joel who helped me at the front with my bags, my car, and took care of me every time he saw me around. Same can be said about all the other staff -extremely friendly and professional. Location of this Resort is also perfect. Great access to the beach, with beachfront bar & food service... Also, the drinks here are not water down or made with cheap alcohol...from Don Julio to Grey Goose, it was all included at no extra charge. I would highly recommend this hotel and would come back myself.

BEWARE THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUISNESS WITH!! ALL THEY DO IS TAKE YOUR MONEY!! We paid $600+ for Rhythm of the night through their hotel for my family of 7. My youngest son got sick the day before and we called to try and cancel it. On our receipt that they gave us it said we had 24hrs before the event to cancel for a full refund. I called way before 24 hours and no one would help me with the cancelation. They kept putting me on hold and then hanging up. I was so disappointed in the way I got treated. Besides the rhythm of the night we also spent $800+ on other activities that we ended up doing. So all they cared about was taking our money.

This is our second visit to Garza Blanca Preserve in Puerto Vallarta in the past two years and other members of our family are frequent visitors to this property as well. We can’t say enough about how great and just how really nice this place is. It is very clean, very beautiful and has incredible staff. Every restaurant has delicious food and excellent views. Evenings are quiet except for the sound of the ocean rhythmically crashing onto the shore. There were four of us this time and we had a spacious two-bedroom ocean front suite with a full kitchen and even a full-size coffee maker. One of our favorite things here is to enjoy room service breakfast on our balcony overlooking the ocean where we can frequently see whales and dolphins. We do feel that improvements could be made in the general check in process. At check in we spent about an hour with our assigned concierge staff who spent most of the time suggesting we attend a membership presentation. We were disappointed the next day when we approached him regarding activities and he totally did not recognize or remember us. We would like to see more explanation and communication about the activities and amenities presented to us at check in. There is a concierge desk that posts the weekly schedule of activities however we learned too late about a Mexican night at Terra Luna and when we did go up there another evening for Bohemian night – for some reason it never happened. The bar was open there and we were still able to capture and enjoy a romantic moment dancing to the live music coming from a nearby restaurant that evening so it was not too disappointing after all. We did note that most of the chairs around the pool seem to be reserved very early so we were left to find something on the beach which also had its share of reserved spots so if you really want a spot with chairs and an umbrella, you need to get out there early. (prior to 10am) We had excellent service from Francisco who served us our beverages on the beach and Roberto really went out of his way to help us ensure that our dinner reservations were locked on. Tito was an excellent guide during the advanced hike and both ocean kayaking and paddle boarding is something not to be missed. We love this resort and will certainly return again.

Amazing, mind blowing views. Had an amazing time in this resort. A lot of nature and wild life. The food is delicious. Make sure you make a reservation to Dao restaurant. Probably, the best food they can offer. The only reason it not a 5 star review is because they lose luggage. They need to work on organizing themselves better.

From the moment we checked in we were greeted in the lobby by Bonnie. We ended up upgrading our room with a jacuzzi ! Bonnie was incredibly sweet and made all our dinner reservations for us each night . She even sent a bottle of Champagne to the pool for my birthday which pretty much brought me to tears. This hotel and their staff is so thoughtful and so kind. We also went on a hike with Estevan to the beautiful waterfall and when we got back a little did we know he would be our server at the pool. If you visit this resort you will be extremely pleased by the looks of it and also by the staff. Every single person that works there is amazing . The whole time we were there I felt safe and super clean !! I cannot wait to go back with my kids. And I hope I see the same staff again! I loved the room views, super quiet and right in the beach. We slept to waves each night . The food I cannot say enough about . We had rooftop dinners and also on the which I recommend. If you have a chance definitely hit the spa for an amazing massage! Overall 10 out of 10 in my book.

Our family had an amazing stay at the Garza Blanca. Everything was fabulous from the open spacious rooms, the immaculate and clean hotel grounds and especially the restaurant dining options! The staff is amazing and always remembered our names too - special shoutout to Zaim, Mike and Christian who went above and beyond. My only small complaint for the hotel to work on is to make sure there is more staff during peak hours especially by the beach, you could occasionally tell they were overwhelmed with everything going on and it was busy.

I was given a "free" all inclusive hotel stay for 5 days at a different hotel by in-laws. I HAD to attend this presentation, otherwise I was going to get charged for my hotel. Both times my husband's family has gifted us a time share hotel stay, we had to attend these presentations. They weren't rude or extremely pushy with us, I straight up told them I'm broke and trying to pay off debt, and I guess they figured I wasn't going get bullied into buying anything. When we were done, they offered us if we wanted to book tours with the front desk. The tours were double the price with them, than at the kiosks on the beach (I always check 3 places to make sure I'm not being stiffed)

We had a beautiful experience here! High quality service, incredible resort, friendly families. The food was delicious. There was NOT constant pressures over time shares/membership. They offered, but still gave us incredible service when we declined. There was a hurricane and they prioritized safety & brought boxed meals to everyone’s rooms. We will absolutely be back. I recommend opting for the all-inclusive stay. Thank you Garza Blanca! See you again soon.

I really wanted to love this resort especially since this was our honeymoon and we're members. First of all, the check-in process was good and the food was decent. The Chinese restaurant was the best. Things went left when we made it to our room. Our tub had yellow stains in it like someone did nasty stuff in the tub so we couldn't enjoy taking romantic baths. Then, we saw ants in the room and later a lizard in the bathroom on the side of the mirror. We reported to the front desk by going down to the front talked with Gloria who checked us in and she said someone would get back to us. They gave us the run around for 3 days and wasn't until Day 4 after my husband got upset they tried to send someone to the room. We never got our tub fixed or moved to another room. Day 5 we were leaving and it didn't give us the best experience for our honeymoon and the hotel acted like they didn't care. Try another resort not this one. Actually the Garza Blanca Cabo was amazing, we will go back there next time.

Our stay at Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta was exceptional. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond. Our room was hands-down the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. As a celiac, I was impressed with the kitchen’s ability to cater to my dietary needs, ensuring a worry-free vacation. The resort offered a variety of free activities, with kayaking, snorkeling, and memorable poker games with Roberto. The pool was pristine and conveniently located next to the beach. A 2 minute walk from our room. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Garza Blanca!

The best part is still the entrance at the arrivals, the view of the ocean from the lobby is always the best. The view reminds me of the great experiences of Garza Blanca. Their rooms are beautiful inside and outside, there are many choice of restaurants and every restaurants have its own specialities. It all fantastic though I Karuma & breakfast buffet are the must try. Their staff members are so friendly and activities & excursions are fun and it is great to socialize with others. Their private dining experience looks very romantic by the beach which we haven’t done yet. There are lots to say good things about this place.

Still not quite finished, but this mountain side resort on the way to Mismaloya offers fantastic rooms, views and service. Part of the Residence Club, if you can keep your wallet in your pocket, speak with Adolfo (see photo) before exiting the airport. We usually go on one resort sales pitch if there's a new resort of interest, viewing Garza Blanca, and enjoying a fabulous breakfast is worth the early morning start. We received a FREE taxi ride to our resort (we did tip him)and jumped a huge line of people waiting for Taxi service, 2 massages, rental car for 3 days, a couple bottles of spirits, and enjoyed the tour. Many people say don't look at the people trying to corral you as you exit, I disagree, as we've made it a part of our Mexico vacations, meet great people like Adolfo, and have no problem saying no when appropriate.

Such a perfect spot. The ocean in front is beautiful and the spa is other level. Best property in Vallarta 5 stars

This is a beautiful property. There are two hotels, the Garza Blanca and the Hotel Mousai (the adult only property). We stayed in Garza Blanca and were in a very nice corner room just off of the beach/pool. The room was beautiful, the only bummer was they were doing construction in the room above us on the last morning we were there, which was incredibly loud. Thankful that was only on the last morning and doubt that happens often! Most of the time we could hear amazing ocean waves or the fun down at the pool area. The staff are awesome and there to help you. We had only positive experiences with each staff member and I was incredibly impressed with all of the greetings from nearly every single staff member we passed on any path or in any part of the property. There is also the Tierra Luna shopping/botanical garden area that you should check out. The drawbacks that don't detract from my rating: the unexpected loud construction in the room above us, the trying sell us on becoming members (they only asked once at the start). Make your dinner reservations in advance. The restaurants we ate at were good, some better than others. I'll review separately. The pool chairs seem to get taken early, and if you have kids you'll want to get there early. If you don't have kids, know that the pool by the ocean will have kids playing in the water. The beach seating is awesome. Reserve your excursions earlier than later, they do fill up. We also did the kayak/snorkel and really enjoyed our time with Danny. It's a 2 mile each way, with a couple of group meeting points in each direction. One of us didn't snorkel and still found the experience worth it.

Service wasn't up to par for a 5 star... I wouldn't call Garza a 5 star but would give a four stars. Housekeeping was weird, one day they took clean our washcloths and it was an act of god to get new ones. Hint: ask for facial cloths if you want a wash cloth. Hint#2: when you go to the main pool just do a front end tip to get the service you want. You should have to do that but that's the only think that worked. Garza is weird in a good way; a mix of young families and older folks. No 20 or 30 something's in sight...at least not in large numbers. If you're a drinker and want the flexibility of food whenever, wherever then get the all inclusive. One problem with the all inclusive, it almost forces yountondo everything at the resort to get your monies worth. We ventured out to a local Steak House and it was worth the trip. Make restaurant reservations well in advance of your trip. Bacodos Steak House, at the resort, has great Sunset views and the food is also very good. Hiroshi, at the resort, wasn't all the good IMO. We found everyone to be warm and welcoming. Would definitely go back and maybe extend the trip by a day so we could go more water activities or hiking. Hint#3: it's the tropics so if you don't do well with heat/humidity go in the late summer or early fall. hint#4: the pool near tower 4 is almost vacant so if you want quiet or not interested in meeting people thats your pool. I never went there but could see if from the balcony and it was rarely busy.

We have been here twice….first time in a beauty of a 2 bedroom panorama suite and the second time in a Honeymoon suite! I cannot say enough good things about this resort….it’s spectacular on every level. We are looking very forward to our stay with friends in January 2022!

If you're thinking of buy a membership with this company look somewhere else. All of their employees are trained to lie. Last year my husband and I got it we were promise so many things starting with the all inclusive, back in March I called to make a reservation in their Cancun location, the rep confirmed with me that I had all inclusive. That I call because " I qualified for an upgrade" well they never made the freaking upgrade in their system to begin with and now I got told that I have to pay extra for the all inclusive. This company it's super unprofessional they have no work ethics, starting with the sales agents at their locations and the representatives. Very disappointing to be part of a place that they do not care about their customers. I wish we never pay for this timeshare

The food is absolutely terrible. My whole family has been starving the whole trip because the food is some of the worst food we’ve ever eaten. To make it worse, it’s extremely expensive. Not even the fries are done well. They’re somehow always wet and we go for the salt before the food even gets here because they don’t season anything. The food is awful and almost entirely ruins the experience. The people who work here are very nice and the view is nice, but there’s not much fun stuff to do for families and the food prices are outrageous. I am not kidding when I say this is some of the worst food I have ever had.

It's a beautiful property with great food and lots of options. We stayed at 3 different places while visiting Mexico and nothing compared to this property. We were celebrating our 9 year anniversary do we wanted it to be special. We wished we could have made our entire stay at Garza Blanca but they couldn't accommodate all of our dates. I definitely recommend it. The other places seemed like a let down when compared to Garza. Great views, awesome food, and accommodating staff. Stay here you won't regret it

This was our first ever trip to Mexico and were recommended to Garza Blanca from a friend. We stayed for 6 nights at the oceanfront Tower 5 and it was incredible! The customer service is second the none! The pictures on the website don’t do it justice!! They knew our names by day 2. From the food to the kids club to the rooms, we were so impressed!! We did the all inclusive package with 7 people and it is so worth it!! They had so many activities with the inclusive package! We will be back!!!

The hotel is very beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The reason I am giving such a bad review is because the front desk staff is terrible. They try to sell you on a membership the moment you walk in and put that as a priority over your vacation. DO NOT LET Bonnie serve you as your trip adviser. She is very incompetent and will waste your time trying to sell you on things. Overall the place looks amazing but beware of the front desk salespeople. Especially Bonnie.

Very, very good. This resort is wonderful all around. The service is simply exceptional. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The beach and pool areas are very nice and well maintained. I highly recommend staying here.

Great experience overall! The staff is super friendly and treated us great. The rooms are large and facilities are all very nice. Small complaints: Pool bars close at 6 pm. Drinks felt a little watered down. (If you have all inclusive it’s not a huge deal) A little difficult to get reservations for restaurants on some nights.

This was an amazing place for vacation. The water is clear blue, the resort is located with mountains behind you and the ocean in front. We stayed in an ocean view suite that had a beautiful view of the sun setting over the ocean. We had the all inclusive package which was definitely worth it. The steak house was amazing but you have to make reservations. The staff was friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that the beach is not closed, so there were 3rd party vendors trying to sell you stuff.

We loved our stay at Garza Blanca ! We did an 8 day trip with their all inclusive option and could not have been happier. Since they offer both options we found it was probably the best all inclusive food and drinks we have ever had at a resort. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their resort and will surely be back in the future.

Location is amazing. Rooms are immaculate. Food is excellent. Bar service is mediocre. It’s a bunch guys who seem not to like people. And the spa is the worse... It’s over priced, poor quality and they’re deceptive. The lotions you thought goes with the massage are lotions you’re actually paying for in addition to the massage. You’ll end up buying a 2.25 fluid ounce bottle that cost $80.00!!

Beautiful resort with just about anything you could ask for, if you are looking for a relaxing and upscale getaway. The restaurants are terrific and the newer ones in Hotel Mousai (its sister hotel on the same grounds) can truly be considered fine dining. The rooms are amazing and spacious and the included activities are better than many of the paid excursions that I've done in the past. Really enjoyed our stay and will return again.
