Ten years ago while talking with friends from our California friends in Puerto Vallarta they recommend us to Dr. Penalva’s dental clinic. I remember her saying, “You’ll never be disappointed.” We have gone to the clinic ever since and have never been disappointed. Our teeth are cleaned there by very competent, skilled technicians with very modern equipment. We have also had major surgeries and crowns built and all results were more than satisfactory. Now we, like our friends who recommended the clinic to us, say “You’ll never be disappointed.”

Last year my husband and I were looking into a good Dental Clinic to get some implants done. My brother referred us to Clinica Dental Plaza Marina. Here we met Doctor Vicky, an extremely knowledgeable, professional and honest maxilofacial surgeon. She told my husband that he was not a good candidate for implants (our Dentist in California had told him different, and was charging and eye and an arm for something they knew was not going to last) Dr. Vicky suggested to get instead an All on 4. He decided to trust her, and started the process immediately. We came back to PV at the beginning of May this year to finish his procedure. His new teeth look amazing, and even better, he says they feel like his own. I got a tooth implant that looks and feels like my own. We’re both extremely happy with our dental treatments. I also saw Doctor Maritza, one of their dentist and she was also amazing. Everyone in this dental clinic is extremely friendly and professional. I would recommend them for all your dental needs. We’re definitely coming back every year for our dental exams and cleanings. No more extremely expensive CA dentists for us!

With a broken crown literally in hand, we asked a good friend for a recommendation on a dentist. We reached out to Clinica Dental and within minutes had a same day appointment. The entire staff, and the facility, are amazing. Within 24 hours I had a new crown in place. The quality of the work is as good as anywhere in the world and the people are delightful. This will now always be our go-to Vallarta dental practice.

Had a crown break while on vacation. Dr Fernando did an x ray and discovered and infection under the tooth. Instead of just putting on a new crown, he recommended pulling the tooth and getting an implant down the road, once the infection cleared up. He knew I wouldn't be using him for the implant because we leave in a day but that didn't matter. He did what was best for me, not what was most expensive. And Dr. Omar was about the best dental operator ever. Pulled the tooth, didn't feel a thing. This place is amazing

Terrible, you are terrible at health care. My oral health declined when I walked into this office. Carla Salgado had done work on my mouth and the fillings fell out. How do you sleep? Edit: Within the week of my initial visit went back in to have her fix them, and they fell out again. I went in to demand my money back and they made everything difficult. So "Dr" Carla, did "fix" the fillings that fell out they fell out again. I got my $300 back for the two teeth she really made them worse and caused me much pain since I couldn't see a dentist due to COVID-19. Really a traumatic experience for me, seeking help. I recently bought a condo in PV and travel there from Colorado often. My teeth were yellow from using tetracyclyn (antibotic) as a chld. My dentist in Colorado wanted a small fortune to help me with implants and veneers to make them white again- plus a long process. I consulted with Dr. A. Carla Salgado.I was aprehensive at first but once I went to her office- it was state of the art. OMG- what a fantatstic dentist and person. She was awesome. (bi-lingual) She helped me with new implants/ veneers- reasonable cost yes- but so professional and caring. I cannot say enough about how happy and pleased I am with her professional services. But, being an attorney, I know it was not just her but the entire support staff--she has a fantastic back office staff and technicians that helped me through the experience. From now on, regardless of whether I am in PV or in Colorado, I will only seek her professional service. I highly recommend that you consult with this clinic if you in any way seek dental services.

Absolutely the best dentist clinic! Everyone has amazing customer service and truly cares about the client. I had several bondings done on my front teeth and I can’t tell you how wonderful of an experience it was. They fit me into the schedule and truly made magic happen. The cost was very reasonable and the quality was outstanding. I can’t recommend this place enough. Totally worth it and will definitely be back and recommend to everyone. Thank you!!!

After recommendations from good friends Phoned at 9:10 with absessed tooth , infected and very painfull, they said phone you right back , waited till 11:15 no call In the interim i whats app them 3 times, no reply ! Finally got a whats app back ,can you come on the 12 th 8 days from today at 12 noon !! Enough said !

We’ve been patients for the last year and honestly we wouldn’t even consider going to another dental clinic. My appointments are always on time and my dentist and technicians are amazing. If you need just a cleaning or something as complex as implants, look no further. I’m learning Spanish but Pearla at the front desk already speaks perfect English as does everyone else I’ve met at the clinic. So there’s no need to worry you won’t be understood. I have been coming here for over 3 years for dental work. After years of over paid ineffective dentistry, I have finally found my happy (dental) place. Dr Carla,Dr Carla ,Perla and the entire team are professional, honest and committed to client care on an individual basis. Even their numbing agents even work better . Clean, modern, current, professional and committed all apply here to staff and location. You may be able to find something cheaper but i went to 3 dentist consultations before I found Plaza and 2 would not even work with me. All 3 were subpar and outdated in comparison. This is my dental team. Period. I LOVE these people!!

It’s rare that you find both a competent and concerned dental clinic strictly by chance in a foreign country but that is exactly what we discovered when we needed emergency dental service while in Puerto Vallarta. Add to that a group of dedicated, compassionate friendly staff and you have a winning team. Excellent service, modern equipment, and a wide range of dental procedures are provided. As we visit PV every year we have scheduled regular check ups and cleanings with them. 5 star recommendation!

Top rated quality and care. We have been coming here for several years and are simply amazed at the quality and care they give. We’ve had quite a bit of work that needed to be done, Including root canals, crowns, and some dental surgery. They take a very holistic approach in providing top notch dentistry. The management, particularly Pearla, is consistent professional and caring. Dr Maritza was truly exceptional. While part of the benefit is the lower cost for dental work done compared to the USA, what’s equally important is that they think about the well being of the patient.

The team includes dentists with various specialties. My mother had several crowns and bridges and each fit very well. They take the time to make sure you are happy with the color and the fit. I have had friends come down from the States for extensive dental work as well, and each one was very pleased and impressed, not to mention the affordable rates, especially compared to the US.

We have been going to Clinica Dental for several years, and have always felt safe and well cared-for. The staff are all very professional, and they listen to our concerns (and many speak English!). The clinic itself is always spotless, and the techniques and equipment are up-to-date. The Doctors are knowledgeable, and believe in ongoing education. We have had some major work done (crowns, bridge) and also annual cleaning and checkups. We imagine you could find places in PV that charge slightly less, but we do feel we get our money's worth, and we will continue our good relationship with this Clinic!
