Who doesn't mind warm sand between the toes on the day after New Year's on a beautiful beautiful beach in the most gorgeous city in sunny Mexico. Playa Camarones, Puerto Vallarta. Come visit, l will save you a beach towel. End of review!

I loved it .. watch videos before I came here.. they all said that the water was cold. Little bit but not really it was warm to me and I live in the Philippines mostly. I thought it was rather pleasant. There was sand nice grainy sand leading into the water. But once and there's pebbles and rocks so it's best to just kind of swim over the top of those. Can't really help it sometimes when the tide is out. Overall experience of the beach, being that I lived in Waikiki in Clearwater Florida. I think this is not far behind. You add the cost of housing and it's a rather nice place.

This beach is hard to swim at during the day because of where the waves break it is uneven and very rocky. Rubber slip on booties/shoes make it easier for going in and out of the ocean. The best time to enjoy this beach is before 9 am when the water is calm. Before 9 a.m. it is GREAT for Paddle Boarding, Swimming, Kayaking, etc. This beach also offers Horse Back Riding on the beach in the mornings. There are a couple of choices in restaurants right on the beach. Table, chair, umbrella rental for the day also available. Easy access from the main road Hwy 200 inspite of the construction going on in this area. Plenty of free parking and a good beach to watch the sunset.

Relaxed and low key, this is the best beach in town. Check out Los Mangos Beach Club or Barracuda to drink and eat. Chairs and umbrellas are available for rental. Bathrooms and showers have small fee.

Nice quiet beach...not very busy. Great relaxing at Flamingos Beach Club. Good selection of beverages but limited meal options

I love this beach a lot and it's a favorite place to go but there are a lot of rocks and the waves can get kind of rough

I like it here alot because your more free of peddlers and your not obligated to restaurants to sit and eat and drink. It's more of a natural environment if you can find anything like that around. Besides all the people.

This beach is a one minute walk from my home in Puerto Vallarta. It's a great place to go running early in the morning and it's my go to site for yoga at sunrise and sunset. There are few tourists until noon, and even then it's usually just a couple of folks. Bring your own beach chair and wear water shoes when you go swimming because after the sand ends it's rocky for a bit The water is lovely and so far I have found no jellyfish or seaweed. Vamos a la playa!

Good place to swim. Sand proper wave. Not many sellers. Taking parasol is recommended.

Gabbys is a great place to spend the afternoon over a few beers, listening to the waves, and watching the sun go down. It has been so for a number of years. Alas rumour has it that this will not last as the vacant land is slated for development. Until then I recommend this place.
