😐 Best part was it was very quiet, loads of space away from noisy Mexicans. Quite scenic and certainly very wide. Water certainly isn't the best and gritty in areas. Loads of water-sports going on. Bit tricky finding the access path, ended up walking through a hotel complex. Where security act like you're walking through their house. So locate this prior to going if just visiting.

Very nice beach at night. There’s a lot of space to hangout at! Though, there are a lot of cops patrolling this place and they target a lot of tourists, asking many questions if we have drugs on us despite telling them “no” and doing a search… it ruins the experience.

A nice wide beach with a river outflow. A nice bar and restaurant adjacent. Chair rentals available.

Lovely quiet beach behind La Isla shopping plaza. Great place to just relax and enjoy without crowds of people. Not many beach vendors either. Note that this beach is quite flat so you could get soaked by a big wave even if you are quite far from the water. You will need to bring your own beach chairs and umbrella if you don't want to just lay a towel out on the sand as I did.

Great little hidden gem. We always stop by for a few drinks and some tacos. Beautiful beach view, rustic little beach place.

The beach is pleasant, and there is a parking lot. My advice is to avoid eating at the Oasis of Holi restaurant on the beach. The mixed seafood cocktail was awful, and the service was even worse.

SUCH A NICE PLACE! IT´S FOR SURE ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR BEACH ACCESS IN TOWN, SO CLOSE TO LA ISLA SHOPPING CENTER AND PENINSULA, THE BEACH IS VERY CLEAN AND YOU CAN ENJOY A REALLY NICE VIEW OF DOWNTOWN.

Right in the middle of town, with ample parking available right on the side of the Isla shopping center. Concierge Vallarta recommends this Puerto Vallarta Beach to Vallarta Visitors.

Great beach to go near the cruise port. We took a Uber there (10 min ride) for about $600 mxd from the cruise terminal and rented an umbrella and 2 chairs from someone there for $1500 mxd so it was very reasonable. The beach was clean and not too rocky, a great experience for a short time in Puerto Vallarta.

We spend the day at playa del holi. The entrance is at the right side of the la isla mall. The river was almost dry so we could cross to the beach but it seemed that if the water of the river is high then the crossing would be blocked. Maybe there is another access to the beach. The beach is very wide with the water of the river behind you and the nice is quite ok. The sea is swimable, but not for small kids. In general is a good beach to spend the day. Nearby there is a beach club with loud music, it didn't bothered us but be aware of it. The nearest mini market is 10 minutes away.

Super large sandy beach with few rocks. The water gets deep here quickly as to be expected along this area but it's calm enough to get in and cool off.

Really cool spot to checkout on the beach that was within walking distance of my hotel. I spent a sunrise and a sunset here.

👍 I think this is one of the better beaches in Central Puerto Vallarta, not to say it is a great beach. But... when you compare it with the crowds of the Playa los Muertos, or the rockiness of the Playa Rosita, this place looks and feels a whole lot better. Not too crowded, beach is pretty sandy, thou...
