I anticipated coming here since planning my trip. It was slightly hard to find because I came a few minutes before opening hours. Look for an awning with a heart wire and sits between a drug store and a gelato place. I was ultimately surprised that they this is made to order. I took mine to go to better enjoy. Each bag was labeled, the empanada wrapped in a napkin and comes with a garlic pesto dipping sauce. The empanada....a must! Since I went to Chile, Santiago I had a craving for homemade empanadas. These are Argentinian and I will crave theirs as well. Every one I tried had a crispy shell and fresh ingredients. Starting from my favorite I tried the Pancho Villa, a three cheese with jalapeño, the Popeye, spinach with cheese, and the Huonguitos, mushroom with cheese. Connie and her clerk were both very kind. Cost for three were $120 peso.

The best empanada I have ever had. I had The Argentina, which is so flavorful. The chimichurri (green) sauce is amazing. Don’t let the exterior looks deceive you, you should try Connie’s Empanadas House.

After it got famous, they’ve raised the prices so much it’s just plain overpriced now. Each one costs twice what they did just a year ago, so it’s better to go elsewhere. Quality is still ok, there’s just better options. There’s a seating area or takeout and you can order a decent variety of fillings. I’ve never had any complaints about the service but it’s not as busy as it used to be.

Charming little shop! A must try! They have the best empanadas that I’ve ever eaten! Will definitely go back before we leave PV, and this time, double every thing! Super impressed. Note: it’s a small shop, might take a bit of time to get your food! But totally worth it! On top of everything, the waitress was super cute and patient!

They have the very BEST empanadas in all of Puerto Vallarta and I’m not exaggerating. If you keep walking past this place, then you’re definitely missing out. They do take awhile to bring out the empanadas, but it’s because they are made fresh!! I’d love to come back and order more!!

Definitely try this place! It’s tourist affordable at 80 MXN each. The Argentina was flavorful. Morra was good but the meat was a bit too chewy. Popeye was also great with spinach and delicious cheese. We had the sweet Llegando which had a little alcohol, it was ok. The lime pie was not that good. Cheesie but sweet. Service was great and friendly. ATM on premise since they are Cash only. No inside seating with about 10 seats outside. Very small & quaint.

I was craving desserts, so I tried the Empanada house. It's a small shop next to a gelato shop. The empanada shell was harder than I expected. I had the pineapple cream, the strawberry and cream, and the oreo. The oreo was good. The pineapple and strawberry were a little sour. The empanada would taste better with a thinner and softer shell. And they fruit would be better if it were sweet. Maybe they should use the strawberry or pineapple with syrup, the kind mist commonly used as filling for pies. Overall the desserts were good but not great. It's edible but not something to write home about. I regret not trying the quince tie with cream cheese. The server is very nice and accommodating. They have a couple seats in front. This is a place that's best to grab and go due to the lack of seating.

Always great options at very good prices. This is not fast food, so there's always a wait, but worth it. My favorite savory empanada is the Marro: shredded beef with sliced chiles. My favorite sweet one is the Carmelo: Nutella and caramel. They have breakfast ones and are open late. We'll be back.

The Best Empanadas! Love this place! We've eaten here several times and the quality is always really good. Connie is super nice and remembered us after our first visit. What's really neat, is you can have a dessert empanada too - very tasty!

Small in size but large in flavour, this ended up being one of our favourite finds in a town full of great food. The proprietor is super friendly and her empanadas are absolutely delicious. With a variety of sweet or savoury flavour combinations as well as some terrific sauces - all handmade to order, we were not disappointed. Aspirations for expansion mean this relatively new spot should soon be making even more people happy.

Stopped here on a whim looking for a snack. Holey moley was it delicious! I tied the chicken, corn, cheese empanada. It was moist, hot, and had a great flavor. The staff is friendly. Per their menu they also offer delivery.

Delicious and cheap empanadas. Baked fresh to order, and come out steaming hot. They have a ton of options, including breakfast, savory and sweet. Favorite was the Argentinian flavor.

The BEST empanadas I have had and one of the best (if not the best) Latin dishes I have had during my various travels to Puerto Vallarta. Connie, the owner, is sweet and wonderful as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
