Service us outstanding. You feel welcomed and very at ease here. The shows are great and ir is diverse. Their specials are worthwhile and are spread throughout the week. The drinks and drinks are good too. The THREE TENORS - TRES TENORES are my and my friends' favorite show! Highly recommend!

The perfect place for instagram selfies! The bar is amazing with breath taking murals! There is diverse live entertainment every night, from singers, bands, drag shows and dancers! A must visit!

Be careful going here because they will add a show fee to your bill without you knowing until you get the bill. My friend and I arrived after our other friends in our group and were each charged $600 MX even though our other friends were not. I found out from another friend that the cover was already over by the time I arrived but I was still charged this very high fee. We will not be returning!

This is one of my top favorite spots/bars for going out in Puerto Vallarta! While technically a gay bar, there are plenty straight people/couples visiting there as well regularly, so there is a good balance and the ambiance is absolutely great for a mixed audience. The staff and management is also friendly and doing all they can to make it work for the guests. While you can have (not excessively priced) drinks, with some free popcorn and/or choose something to eat from their menu (which offers a variety of simple foods/snacks, nothing extraordinary but decent enough as their focus is not food), you can enjoy their top notch and great variety of entertainment, singers and artists as they host many of the top talent of Vallarta. Check their weekly schedule on Facebook to find out which entertainment night is the best for your personal taste. Currently they also have salsa dancing on Saturday Night and on Sunday Night there is a promotion of 50% off of food (and the food is already not that expensive to begin with). Personally, if I wanna have some drinks (with or without food) in a bar, I don't see any good reason to go any other place than Catrina. From their food menu, my favorites are the fried chicken wings (I prefer their wings over almost any other place in Vallarta) and the chicken nuggets are also really good. Their only dessert is also a true delight: hot brownie with vanilla ice cream and Baileys. Most of the time they don't charge cover (only occasionally they do), and thus providing free entertainment; artists get paid through tips only. The place also has an amazing decorative interior, mostly Catrina-style. Whenever I end up in another bar for whatever reason, I always wish I was in Catrina instead, as I would have much more fun, entertainment and value for money there! Can't recommend this place enough! (I read some negative reviews here about problems with the bills; let me say this about that: I have been in Catrina at least 100 times and have rarely had any issues with my bill, and in the very, very few occasions that there was a mistake on the bill, which can always happen, it got instantly corrected by staff. I have never felt worried about my bill on any occasion there and have a lot of confidence in the honesty of staff and management. Just sharing my personal experience about this aspect)

We popped into this lovely little place for a quick margarita. We were greeted by a gentleman named Pablo who made us delicious margaritas and had us try some excellent tequila. He brought water and some food for my dog. He made us laugh and smile. We then had the shrimp quesadillas which was exquisite!! Served with a creme chipotle and a homemade pesto that was so good I took a few to go bottles with me. We also had the mango flan which was excellent. Everything was great. It's not cheap but nothing in Todos Santos is, lol. We had a rather frustrating day and that all melted away with the great hospitality and warmness from Pablo. That experience turned our day around. Five stars all the way!!

The hubs and I wanted to go out dancing so we decided to check this place out. We are so glad we did because we got what we were looking for and so much more. We arrived towards the end of a stand up comedy, the we saw a singing performance, then dancing, the a drag show! Every night they are open they seem to have lots of things lined up. Fun place and great drinks, all are welcome here.

I went to celebrate my birthday with my husband. We had a blast! The staff were awesome and so friendly and such a great vibe. The musicians were excellent and fun! The drinks exquisite! Cute names and delicious great presentation. Prices weren't bad at all. Sang and danced out hearts out!

This place is outstanding. SO. MUCH. FUN. Literally any night of the week. Drinks are fun. Try the housemate cinnamon tequila. You won’t regret it. So many good shows. Excellent service. Great value!!!

Mauricio is the man! We came in March 23’ and when we came back in December 23’, not only did he remember I loved the popcorn he remember my wife’s and I favorite drink! Strongly recommend going on a Thursday and seeing Kevin Anthony. I still can’t believe he doesn’t have a record deal, he is amazing. La Catrina Cantina has a tequila and mezcal tasting tour on airb&b excursion it is hands down the best tour you can do in PV. Did I mention to try the popcorn?

Thursday you can play left,right,center and the stage get good talent mostly singers think lounge the way it should be. They need a better beer selection. Still a favorite place

Spent New Year's Eve here and it was amazing! The staff was great and the service fantastic. Didn't get a chance to have food, but I'm sure it would have been great as well. Definitely recommend it if you are in Puerta Vallarta.

I did a tequila / mezcal tasting here and it was great. Really cool bar with a great vibe. The staff were all really cool and showed me a excellent time. 👍🏾

This place is a fantastic gem. I've been twice, both times the entertainment was free (the amazing Keith Tynes from The Platters 2and gen. and days before the amazing-voiced Luis Villanueve). We had a beer and a gin and tonic for 150 pesos (@$8). The waiters are very welcoming, great mix of people. I haven't tried the food yet but plan to go back Sunday for the 3 PV Tenors. There are a few shows advertised with a cover. I feel that this is an experimental kind of place that should be encouraged and cherished.

Great place, the resident Drags have a great show. We come back everytime we're in PV.

Love this place Juan, the owner, and staff are so personable and welcoming. The entertainment is outstanding, food and drinks are good and service is terrific. Dancing and dance lessons. Mexican bingo on a different level!

This place has absolutely everything it needs to be the most successful and well visited casual lounge cocktail bar in PV. This place is exceptionally well run. The oversight of the owners and management is apparent. hi quality drinks at an affordable price and free live entertainment!!! The show changes for night to night, so I definitely enjoyed going a couple of times on my recent trip

We came on Friday and back again today (Sunday). Service was amazing. All the servers are so very welcoming. The entertainment, although different from Friday was equally good. The nachos we had today were fantastic. Will definitely make this part of our normal rotation. Thank you. Made our night gentlemen 🩵💚

The first bar i ever visited in Puerto Vallarta and i keep visiting once a week, the service is pretty good and Edward the waiter is super polite and provides an excellent customer service.

Stumbled in to this place while on vacation in PV and our group had a blast. Everyone we encountered the entire time was just as nice and friendly as the next. The live entertainment was just as great - we were there on Friday night with a male and female singer and and drag artists from around Mexico. We would have stayed for more of the show but we wanted to visit another place before heading back to our hotel. We will definitely be back on our next trip to PV. Thanks for a great evening!

Very nice space, terrific show by the Vallarta Three Tenors. Drinks are A bit pricey, food was delicious. Service was a bit spotty, but overall good.

Don’t pass this up! The food is so great and so affordable, the art on the walls from local artists is exceptional. The Michael Jackson shows was outstanding as well as the drag shows were great fun!

I've been to Catrina Cantina 5 times in 3 weeks. Great bar with music. Food is surprisingly wonderful,. The whole bar itself is beautiful. Heads up, it's on second floor but easy stairway even for an old guy like me.
