This was my husband and I's first time in Puerto Vallarta. We are certified advanced divers and we don't want to jump on big boats with hundreds of others when we dive. Vallarta Undersea were great - we did share our boat with a small family who were snorkeling on our first day of diving at Marietas Island, but they made sure everything was seamless and the diving was fantastic, just 5 of us and lots of bottom time. They made us feel super comfortable and were attentive to whatever was needed, so we ended up booking a second day of diving and it was just the 5 of us plus one extra divemaster to join as we were able to dive some caves - absolutely fantastic day and a great, relaxed time. Great dive shop! Has the smaller shop feel and act like they care about what they do. Me and teenage daughter dove here 2 separate days and we had a blast both times. Will be going back to Mexico for Thanksgiving and will definitely drop in again for another dive. Thanks guys for some great memories.

Very professional and fun loving staff. Would use them again without hesitation. Retail space needs work however.

I am non certified as was my girlfriend; but the package included a 2 hour class the day before and 2 dives the day of. The boat Rica and the patience of the staff made the trip worth it's small price and much more. If you are from the US don't forget to tip them it's worth it believe me. I have dived with a couple different shops in the Bay, and I honestly have to say that I've always felt the safest (and had the most fun) with the instructors and guides at Vallarta undersea. They know all the best spots, easygoing staff,and are super patient with new divers. I highly recommend them!!!

Great place to learn to dive. Staff is excellent. Hector was a great teacher and I would recommend everyone go here who wants to learn to scuba. All the staff are great.

Everyone was great! I told Hector I needed to see sea turtle and we did! Also an octopus, sea horses, eels, manta ray, schools of fish and coral of course! The visibility wasn't great but they told us go between August and October for the best! The water was cold so the wet suits help a lot. They were accommodating to our needs since I've only done it twice and my friend hadn't gone for 10 years. I would bring some other food because a sandwich and water wasn't enough for me. But I would definitely go back and recommend them to friends and family!

Scuba diving in Puerto Vallarta was a lot colder than I expected, and the visibility was pretty poor on our day. There wasn't a whole lot of sea life, but we did spot an octopus and got a close visit from a giant Manta Ray, which were both rare and awesome experiences. Despite the poor conditions, the dive center itself were professional, affordable, and a solid experience. I'd recommend them if you want to dive while you're here.

Had a great time diving with these folks at Los Arcos. Very professional and helpful. Fyi, when you're looking for the shop, the sign isn't correct. It says "EcoTours" & there are two shops with that name. One of them is actually Vallarta Underseas. You might have to ask around a little to find the right shop.

Really great dive shop. Good small groups. Nice boat size. Enthusiastic and fun crews and good sandwiches. Gear was top notch and well maintained. Water is colder than you’d think and trip to sites is breezy. Bring an extra layer or two.

Had a great experience diving with Vallarta Undersea. Well run shop, great staff, service and boats. All the rental gear I saw looked in great condition (brought and used my own and they took great care of it overnight making sure it was rinsed and hung). Great dive shop! I booked a dive last minute at the Marieta Islands and it was excellent. The crew on the boat were very experienced and they provided an enjoyable tour of the two islands. It was a nice small group and most of them were snorkelling. Dive Master Carlos and I did two dives with great visibility through canyons seeing a ton of fish, coral and a huge red snapper! Alex and Rodrigues were excellent as well and I believe everyone on the boat learned a little about the area and felt safe, I know I did. I would definitely recommend and hope to be back again!!!

Had such a great time scuba diving with these guys! I felt super safe and an instructor, Carlos who was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Absolutely great time and would 1000% recommend!
