Very efficient terminal. Movement is very smooth and the staff are very friendly. Plenty of duty free and a variety of food choices with an abroad food stalls. Relaxing seating area with chairs incorporating foot rests. Comfortable VIP lounges scattered throughout the terminal.

It's a relatively small airport. It's easy to get from check in to security, then to your gate. There are two lounges in the international terminal, both accept priority pass. The bad side of a small airport is they can't handle as passengers volume at arrival. Long lines at immigration and custom. Highly recommend self check in and only use the bag drop at departure. It'd save you a huge amount of time. Many shops and fast food after security.

Out all the airports I’ve been to, this one is my least favorite. One, not much options inside to eat & chill before your flight. Also, merchandise - souvenirs are OVERPRICED seriously overpriced. One bead bracelet the lady told me $60 USA dollars. Say what?! Nah! Highway robbery. I just kept moving. I should have purchase the bead bracelet on the beach from the locals for a few American dollars.. Anyhow, back to the airport, we decided to have a quick lunch a drink a little before our flight.. As we sat down to get comfy, we were told no WiFi is available. WHAT??!! No WiFi? No WiFi at a restaurant outside the airport? Literally steps away from the airport… We had tocos & a couple corona- the restaurant Isla Bar had no WiFi. Taxi at that particular airport is too expensive. $100 for a 30min drive.

It is a small airport but very friendly. We arrived early not knowing if there would be a line getting through or not. Lots of shopping one can do with that extra time. I bought us a couple medium size dark chocolate chunks with almonds for 150 peso’s. Far more modern inside then I would have expected.

Amazing how easy this airport was. Security was fast and very efficient. Immigration was nil just show your passport and go. Once inside there are countless restaurants and shops. The restaurant service can be a bit slow but the prices are very fair and the food was not bad either. I travel alot and this was by far my best travel experience in a LONG time. A fantastic experience.

Very easy to get through customs and board both coming and going. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. Be careful when arriving they have a "greeting" area and even welcome you with a shot of tequila. They told us to talk to a specific person for our rental car and really they are getting you hooked in to do a time share tour. They do offer some great discounts on tours for going but it's going to cost you about 3 hours of your day even though they say 75 minutes including breakfast it's never that quick

The airport is clean and has good restaurants, cafes and stores in it. Unfortunately a lot of people weren't wearing masks and it is a very very busy airport. The gates have limited chairs and the number of passengers is more than the chairs so most people are on the floor. It was very crowded and I didn't see any Covid restrictions in place. No sanitizer anywhere, no space between the passengers overall I did not feel safe and felt like I'm gonna catch Covid. The prices of snacks is double what u pay outside the airport so I recommend bring your own snacks.

I've never had to board from the tarmac before, but otherwise, it was a fabulous scoreless

Absolutely gorgeous, clean, and vibrant. The culture is friendly and inclusive. So nice to see families, with abuela and a few kids all together, nobody on their cel or iPad, playing with a ball or sand bucket, just enjoying the day. The Mexican food is inexpensive and good; stay away from the Italian, French, and Spanish restaurants. All 3 missed the mark big time for me. And why bother, anyway? Good shops and markets. Plenty of taxis, but riding on cobblestones everywhere gets old quickly. Flat shoes required! Water taxi to La Playa de Las Animas, below. Sunset on the Pacific can be magical.

Small but very clean and compact airport. There are many souvenir shops and many cafes with food, drinks and snacks. Prices for souvenirs are very high, so if you want to buy gifts or something for yourself, it is better to buy in the city and it will be 2-3 times cheaper, the same goes for medicines. There are 2 Starbucks coffee shops in the airport building, which is very nice. When you arrive in Puerto Vallarta, at the exit of the airport building you are met by many representatives of different hotels, and if you want to save 2-3 hours of your personal time, it is better to pass by and not stop near them. Near the airport building, taxis are much more expensive than if you walk a little and catch a taxi outside the airport. Or, on the left side of the airport building there is a bus stop that goes towards the city center, if you need to go the other way, then you need to cross the bridge, which is also located near the bus stop.

Much too crowded but we arrived four hours before boarding and got through the bag drop off, the customs check and waited in the departure area with hundreds of people. The old saying from the sound comes to mind don't worry be happy comes to mind.

If you are looking for something to eat before you fly, make sure you go through security. On the other side there are a ton of restaurants. It seems seating is about 50% for the gates and 50% for restaurants. Cheapest water bottles can be found in the vending machines. Vip lounge is at gate 12. Nice and cool inside.

Fast airport but very small. However, some Ubers won’t pick you up if you are inside the airport. You have to cross the street and that makes it a little bit complicated

Great airport. Good restaurant selections, efficient check in and easy to maneuver. The bathrooms needed a little maintenance.

The staff was amazing. The sandy beach is great for jumping in the ocean and soaking in the amazingly clear water. The food was good and the activities were enough to entertain me. The gym was not air-conditioned so i burned extra calories!

Easy enough airport with no issues getting through to our gate. Spent most of the time in one of the VIP Lounges, so I'm not sure what it's like to just be walking/sitting around experiencing the rest of the airport. Definitely better than other airports I've been to, but not nearly as good as Portland's airport. Arriving here can be a mess, especially the area where they let people sell you stuff and try to talk you into tours or rides with a door that isn't clear, so you think you need to talk to someone here. Watch out for that! Just get outside and you'll have better options for transportation and tours!

Efficient and swift from entrance to gate. Health questionnaire has to be filled out prior to security check point. Questionnaire will generate a QR code.

For a smaller city airport it is a very convenient, simple and clean airport. Nothing fancy. But, it's easy to get in and out. All staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic holiday. Great food, lovely staff. Lots of entertainment. 24 hour all inclusive as sports bar was open all night. Full drinks fridge and optics in the rooms. Lovely spacious rooms and very clean. I would recommend staying here. I prefer the turquoise carribean sea (Cancun side), but the sea - Pacific ocean was warm and we saw dolphins and whales 🐋 from the hotel. Amazing trips available and free kayaks and body surf boards included with the hotel. Thank you for a truly amazing holiday ❤

Nice looking airport. Updates in the last couple years. Doesn't have a lot of gates, so most flights you get off and on the plane by bus and stairs.
