The
worst
customer
service
experience
I
have
ever
had.
Called
and
booked
a
seven
passenger
to
be
delivered
to
our
condo
for
12:00
noon.
Operator
suggested
I
book
on
line.
I
completed
the
on
line
process
with
the
agent
still
on
the
phone.
That
process
was
straight
forward
although
we
started
in
Spanish
and
she
was
walking
me
through
the
Spanish
pages.
I
struggled
and
we
got
stumped
on
a
section.
She
instructed
me
to
go
back
and
re
enter
payment
details.
I
then
find
the
English
button
where
I
can
complete
the
entire
transaction
in
English.
She
never
told
me
there
was
an
English
button
when
I
was
reading
the
Spanish
prompts
and
struggling.
She
commits
and
confirmes
I
will
have
a
seven
passenger
for
noon.
At
12:30
I
have
six
people
waiting
for
the
unit
that
is
late.
I
call.
The
same
operator
tells
me
she
will
contact
“her”
driver.
I
wait
for
five
minutes
on
the
phone
while
she
attempts
to
do
so.
She
tells
me
she
will
call
me
back.
A
few
minutes
later
she
whattsapp
me
and
tells
me
her
partner
just
informed
her
the
unit
won’t
be
available
until
one
hour.
I
tell
her
I
don’t
trust
her
one
hour
so
please
give
me
a
unit
she
can
see
and
touch
that
has
five
passenger
seating.
She
says
she
can
have
that
unit
delivered
in
twenty
minutes.
I
apologize
to
one
of
our
passengers
that
we
now
have
to
scrap
from
the
trip
and
await
the
rental
for
1:00.
At
2:00
the
unit
arrives.
We
are
driving
to
Salulita
so
we
now
arrive
for
a
beach
lunch
and
day
at
3:30
by
the
time
we
do
the
car
inspection.
The
VW
arrives
with
more
scratches
and
knicks
so
we
have
to
touch
every
single
one
before
we
leave.
I
argued
that
the
delivery
and
pick
up
charge
should
be
waived.
Despite
the
operators
apology’s
she
tells
me
I
still
have
to
pay.
Eventually
she
agrees
to
waive
one
of
the
charges.
We
compete
and
sign
all
the
paperwork.
All
my
guest
jump
in
the
VW.
The
drop
off
agent
jumps
in
the
VW.
She
tries
to
back
up
the
car
down
a
tight
passage.
She
comes
very
close
to
taking
out
the
passenger
side
of
the
car
along
a
parking
barrier.
I
suggest
I
would
be
happy
to
back
the
car
up.
I
do
so
and
drive
off
to
our
beach
day.
15
minutes
later
I
get
a
call
saying
she
still
has
my
drivers
licence
and
the
rental
documents.
I
wrongly
made
the
assumption
that
she
had
handed
the
papers
and
my
drivers
license
to
my
family
when
she
was
in
the
car.
My
mistake.
She
has
no
car
and
wants
me
to
turn
back.
At
this
point
I
elect
to
try
my
luck
and
continue
on
our
trip.
I
ask
her
to
photograph
all
documents
and
send
them
to
me
in
cards
we
get
pulled
over.
When
I
booked
on
line
I
told
them
I
would
Be
back
at
8:00.
We
arrived
back
at
7:58
fully
gassed
up
and
ready
to
get
to
dinner
reservations.
The
car
rental
agent
was
there
on
time
to
pick
up
the
unit.
At
that
time
she
informs
me
that
I
only
have
paid
$5.00
and
I
would
need
to
pay
the
balance.
I
ask
her
how
that
is
possible
as
I
filled
in
everything
on
line
and
have
an
e
mail
confirmation
with
the
full
amount
on
the
confirmation.
We
banter
back
and
fourth
and
I
get
a
call
from
a
guy
who
tells
me
the
same
thing.
I
tell
him
I
booked
with
American
Express
and
will
pay
the
balance
with
the
same
card.
I
am
told
their
system
won’t
allow
me
to
do
that
and
that
the
agent
only
brought
the
machine
for
PayPal
or
visa
/
MasterCard.
20
minutes
later
he
suggests
they
can
send
me
a
link
by
e
mail
and
I
can
re
pay
on
line
when
I
check
what
has
been
out
through
with
Amex.
All
the
physical
paperwork
was
written
on
another
company
letter
head.
The
car
sent
was
not
from
City.
It’s
clear
that
in
both
instances
the
cars
they
were
sending
were
not
from
City
Car
rental.
It’s
Mexico
man
...
I
get
it.
Things
show
up
late
all
the
time.
When
a
unit
is
supposed
to
be
there
at
noon
and
I
get
notified
after
I
follow
up..
that
the
unit
was
not
even
available
for
another
hour
I
draw
the
line.
We
planned
a
trip
to
this
amazing
town
on
the
last
full
day
my
daughter
was
in
town.
I
would
strongly
suggest
seeking
out
other
options
when
requiring
a
car
rental.
City
Car
rental
would
not
be
my
choice
out
of
Puerto
Vallarta.
