So far this has been a very bad vacation from Air Canada. I will look past the delay of the flight and missing the transfer and needing to wait but the hotel we are at is very bad and low quality. We specifically booked a hotel that supposedly had all amenities we were looking for. Wifi in the room, easy access, kid friendly, Our first room had no wifi. No electrical plugs worked ( I use a cpap machine to sleep and need to charge devices). AC didnt work well. No working telephone (what to do in an emergency?) And the main thing we required was a crib and we were not able to get that until the second night. When we researched the resort we were looking for accessability. We have a stroller with two kids in it, my wife is pregnant and I have a back problem and stairs make it worse. In the pictures and descriptions it looked all good. When we got to the resort we find out that the main dining area is closed and you have to go up stairs to a conference area for the breakfast lunch and dinner buffet. The elevator to this area is broken.  This is a BIG problem. The next day after my wife complained some more we were finally moved to another room where wifi works and the AC sort of works. On this day we were told that the Air Canada rep would be in the lobby at 3:30 PM ( this is on the paper given to us by Air Canada rep at airport). We waited so we would have the intro meeting and voice our complaints but he was a no show. More time wasted for no reason. He did however show up the next day after in which we spoke. But didnt seem too concerned about our issues. Just told us to not drink the water from the tap and how to exchange currency. He gave us a city tour but it doesn't make our experience any better. The second room is pretty run down with mould in the bathroom and caulking and sealant holding together the toilet and some panel in the shower. The sink is literally cracked in half. AC in living room doesnt work. Bed is hard as a rock. Half the lights dont work. It is really just a terrible experience for us. Also you can never get reservations for the a la carte resturants. My wife is devistated and wishes we could just leave and go somewhere else or home. I am not having a good time at all and now when we go back to Toronto all I will think about this winter is how bad of an experience I had here instead or fun nice memories to help keep me warm. I am by no means an influencer or have any crazy following but I am vlogging this vacation and will post a review and video showing all the things I have mentioned. OH, and lets not get into the terrible food. I know the culture is different but jeez Cuba had better food than here. Cozumel had the best food so far I have experienced. Positive note: The front desk and concierge people are very nice and pleasant even who dont speak English, eveyone else is rude and disrespectful. Look I dont expect Atlantis or One and Only resort treatments or even Melia, but this place is not a 4 star place at all. 2 and a half to maybe 3 star at best. It seems.like they can not keep up with this maintenance of this hotel and just need to shut it down and renovate the whole thing. Especially if they want to entertain North American Tourists. And there is definitely preferential treatment towards the locals Versus north American tourists, so why even market this place to Canadians? Why make us feel unwelcome? To sum it up, my family is not happy. I am not happy. We have regrets booking this place and promise to never come back. We may never even come back to Puerto Vallarta on the whole it has been so bad.

I have been a Golden Shores member for 10 years and visited both their Cancun and Puerto Vallarta properties. The Cancun property is better but this one has several attractive features. First, the location is excellent, just steps from the maritime terminal and many day tours around Puerto Vallarta. There are also several shopping areas in walking distance. The staff was also very helpful, especially Francisco from member services, Miguel and Grecia (superstar, she helped us with our COVID tests) in concierge services, and Juan, our waiter at the main restaurant (La Palapa). The hotel is on the beach and overall services are very good. Still, there are some things that can be improved, although none are a deal breaker. The hotel looks a bit dated and our room needs a good renovation. Internet was inconsistent most of the time. There were some communication failures with the staff and the service in one of the specialty restaurants, Sans Souci, was atrocious. Still, we left with wonderful memories after a very pleasant stay.

Terrible terrible food at the buffet. Our room had hairs all over the floor and was not clean when we checked in, fortunately they agreed to get us a different room that had less deterioration and cleaner. The rooms were very outdated (chipped paint, stained sheets and upholstery) and the maids kept forgetting to give us towels and refill our water. The WiFi worked about 40% of the time and it took us close to 45 minutes to get checked in w/ only 2 people in front of us. My family member was also robbed right outside the resort. Everything seemed outdated and dirty at the club side. Also, you can not go to the golden side even if you leave your kids at the club side. Not even to go to the restaurants. The pools were nice and the beach was okay. I would never in a million years stay here again though. The low quality food alone was reason enough

This hotel is OLD. It is outdated, old and decaying. I was very upset about the room that we stayed in. The bathroom was unbelivably dirty and it had black mold along the shower doors and floor. Mostly everything in the room is old ripped or broken. The food is decent but the drinks oh my god, they are so water down you can hardly get a taste of what the drink is supposed to be. We would rather walk to the stores nearby to buy our drinks. So much for getting the all inclusive (drinks and food). The only and i mean the ONLY thing good about this hotel are the employees from the fukiyama breakfast restaurant. I would not stay at this hotel ever again completely not worth it. **Crown paradise team don't even bother replying to this review. We both know you won't do a darn thing to improve any of these issues.**

Reading all the negative reviews had me worried before we left, but it was a lot of wasted energy. Our family had a fantastic time at the resort. Yes, the rooms are dated but I think the photos clearly show this. Staff are constantly cleaning and housekeeping was excellent (I think her name was Yudith). We never attempted the a la carte restaurants and ate most meals in the buffet. The staff in the buffet are very hard working and polite. We always found something to eat that we enjoyed. The food does get repetitive but that has been my experience at every resort and cruise. My picky kids struggled with the food but they're small and creatures of habit. This resort was significantly cheaper than the other four star AIs I compared and I felt it was great value by today's prices. If you are easy-going and can appreciate hard work when you see it, I don't think you will be disappointed. For all the negative reviews, I saw so many happy families in the pool and on the beach. We are looking forward to returning one day.

This place has a beautiful location on the beach and the grounds are lovely. However, the construction happening above our room was brutal and with all the drilling and banging you couldn't sleep past 8 am. I complained to the concierge but they didn't care. They shouldn't rent out the rooms below massive construction sites. The room itself was nice with a great view but the bed was literally on a cement platform with a very thin mattress. I had to sleep on the sofa The pools are beautiful but filled with millions of children. The small adult pool had way too many people sitting in all day long and the water looked gross. The hotel seemed very overpacked. The buffet sometimes had a lineup an hour long and all the other restaurants needed impossible to get reservations unless you were a member. The food was bland and monotonous. It's a shame, the beach location is wonderful and the hardworking service staff are amazing but I won't be back. You can do better in Puerto Vallarta.

It's Okay but not Amazing. LOCATION: The location is convenient, Eight minutes from the airport, walking distance to an overpriced pharmacy and a large Chedraui department store. There is also a shopping mall nearby but as it is next to the cruise terminal I found the prices very high. BEACH: The beach is nice, rocky in places, but public so "No Gracias" is the phrase of the day as people tried to sell me everything from sunglasses to hammocks. Get a spot on the beach early or you won't get one until sunset. ROOMS: The rooms were basic, nothing special. No alarm clock. Only two electricals sockets, one in the bathroom and the other across the room from the bed which is very inconvenient. The beds are incredibly small, especially for two teenage brothers sharing and if your over 5'9" expect your feet to hang off the end unless you sleep in the fetal position. The blackout curtain looked like it was full of bullet holes and light was streaming through in multiple places. The backing was falling off the bathroom mirror meaning in places it was just glass. One of the chairs on the balcony was broken. The balcony door was broken and would not lock, we waited two hours to get someone to fix it and nobody came until we got mad about the two hour wait. The air conditioner was barely adequate to heat and cool the room. The cavernous corridors amplified and transmitted every sound from footsteps and voices to carts and suitcases rolling by 24 hours a day. The in-room refrigerator kept drinks cool but not cold. POOLS: There are three pools, one adults only and a fabulous kids water park with a sailing ship, castle and water breathing dragon. The water park was really cool, made me wish the kids were younger but, extremely noisy with children shrieking about 10-11 hours a day. As our balcony overlooked the water park the noise made the balcony unbearable. As for the other pools there was extremely loud music thumping away at all of them and like the beach, grab a chair early or forget it for the day. Even the adult pool felt like a disco. DRINK: The bars offer a selection of about 12-15 mostly rum based cocktails which are quite good. They also have a drink menu for the kids of fancy non-alcoholic cocktails. Wine is very bad, one type red or white. Beer is Modelo Clara or Obscura. Clearly they signed a bulk contract with the cheapest supplier. They have one size plastic glasses for all drinks. FOOD: The food in the buffet was quite good with a wide selection, not so much at the beachfront snack bar with mostly hot dogs, hamburgers and French fries. We went to the Japanese restaurant and while the food was beautifully presented my entree was served cold and it all taster rather bland. To get into a specialty restaurant you need to scan a QR code at reception and make your reservation online starting at 9 AM. The restaurants are usually full by 9:20 AM so be quick about it. Also you can't make a reservation for more than the number of people in your room so if you want to have dinner together with friends or family in another room you're out of luck unless you can get the Concierge to fix it. ACCESSIBILITY: I was surprised to find ramps throughout the resort for people with mobility issues however be warned that they are very steep with an incline of about one foot for every three feet. Pushing my Mother-in-law in her wheelchair got to be a challenge, safer to back down the ramps. SERVICE: The staff was mostly friendly and the majority could speak English. This is a resort that caters mostly to the Mexican market which is fine, Mexicans need a holiday too. But some Americans and Canadians may find it overwhelming. Overall it provides an adequate vacation but not an amazing one. PROS: Location, kids water park CONS: Noise, limited selection of beer/wine, room condition

This was the worse resort I ever stayed in my whole life!!! Do not come here at all!!! The ac doesn’t work anywhere in the building, everywhere you go is hot like 95 degrees and you get to sleep in extreme hot rooms!! My daughters were sweating all night we couldn’t sleep!! All they did the second night is give us a fan and we almost had to beg for it, the ac doesn’t work they act like they’re going to fix them but they don’t do nothing or help you at all, the lobby is right in the parking lot and it’s extremely hot as well no ac no where , dirtiest pools I ever seen , not to mention the beach and hallways, the ceilings are falling apart , terrible place!!! I was barely 6 hours in the resort and I was READY to get out of there!! Never in my life would I even think of going back there and I will make sure to let as much family members and friends not to even think about coming to this resort. I never left a review before but for this place i really had to make sure I do to help others!!!! Do not fall for the pictures on their page like I did!! The hotel is really beat and old , those pictures are from a newer resort.

Rooms are very small with horrible beds. Food is cold/raw at the snack bars. Reservations can only be made at 9am so don't expect much there. Disorganized staff for check in. Very small pool and the beach wasn't great either. Rooms are extremely warm and air only works with the key card. Definitely not a 4 star resort.

This was a nice enough hotel for our long Easter weekend. The food at the buffet was very hit or miss. Food was sometimes lukewarm and it would get very busy with a long line. When we checked in, nobody explained to us how to make a restaurant reservation so we missed out on that the first couple nights. Fujiyama was very good food and excellent service. Sans Soucis was average food but still good service. There was nowhere to make reservations for breakfast or brunch so you're stuck with buffet food every day for that meal. The beach was great, good chairs and wonderful staff. They kept it very clean. The adults only pool/hot tub area was wonderful. The WiFi was very inconsistent and for the most part did not work in our actual hotel room. The beds and pillows were also very stiff and uncomfortable. The bathroom area is very small and doesn't allow for much privacy. The balcony was very nice though. The biggest issue we had was probably a lack of communication. Nothing was really explained to us upon check in. When we would ask questions, answers tended to be confusing or inconsistent. This was especially true when we tried to get our COVID test before leaving. The on site lab only stays 9am-1pm, and it was very hard to locate. It is at the Golden resort, so you have to walk over there. When we got there we got 3 different answers as to where we needed to go for that. The lady doing the tests also arrived 15 minutes after 9, even though our appointment was for 9am. The "lab" was set up in one of the hotel rooms with one woman doing all the work. The credit card reader would not work in the room because of the poor WiFi so we had to leave the room to pay for the tests. Overall we would probably stay here again but as a first time visitor, it was a little confusing.

Long review, but 100% honest— read! Recently returned from a week stay at the Crown Paradise Club (adults only side) 6/10-6/17. I had read all of the terrible reviews and actually tried to cancel our stay, but we ended up going ahead and trying it out. WE ARE HAPPY WE DID! not sure what all of the bad food reviews are about, the food options were great, even at the buffets! The Japanese restaurant was excellent. You may wonder, why only 3 stars. Well, as mentioned by many others, the hotel is outdated. My husband and I stayed in their newer building and our room was great, no issues whatsoever BUT keep in mind, this building DOES NOT offer ocean views. You will still get a little glimpse, but don’t expect more. Our friends stayed on the ocean/pool view building, and they said their room was not great, however they still enjoyed their stay. In my opinion, a little more time can be spent on deep cleaning, but they may be understaffed. The crowd was mixed in ages, but predominantly younger, party crowd for sure. The chairs/beds by the pools and beach go fast so you may need to get up early to reserve. We didn’t struggle too much with getting a bed by the beach or sky pool. We did not get in the main pool, it was pretty packed/rowdy. They have shows at their club directly across the small street, we didn’t go to any of them so I cannot speak on those. Tons of beach vendors! TONS. All in all, it was a good experience, service was good and friendly, but please go with the correct expectations so that you enjoy your stay!

Honestly, this resort gives you everything you need to have a good time. I visited March 2022 with my boyfriend and his family - the food was good, drinks were watered down but did the job just right, and the property has two pools to sit at. There’s also beach seating. I had no issues during my stay aside from not really being able to get face towels (which was fine as we just used hand towels). The resort is extremely close to the airport and getting to and from was a breeze. I’ll probably splurge on something more luxurious next time but this resort was exactly as described and was even better than I expected for the price.

There website says "All land activities and use of recreational facilities and equipment are included." The following activities were listed on the website but not available: snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, boogie boarding. There were roaches AND ants in our room. There were only 2 restaurants (other than the buffet). It was difficult to get a reservation for them. We ended up eating at restaurants around town because we couldn't get in to the restaurants in the resort. I asked to speak with a supervisor but nobody in the lobby spoke enough English. I asked to have someone who spoke English call me in my room and they never did.

Maybe for half the price? Buffet was subpar, reservations for restaurants were terrible. We booked it because of restrictive diets in our party. Unless you had a good waiter for dinner it was a guessing game for safe foods. There were no quiet zones to read a book. The shade for our room was more than 2 feet short with holes, they brought us a different one with less holes and mold. Not enough chairs on the beach for guests. All and all not my favorite.

We’d been here years before so were excited to return and bring friends. This turned out to be a mistake. The rooms are in need of repair, our telephone does not work nor does the safe in our room. The AC gurgles if it’s not on. The rooms are noisy and outdated. The buffet serves the same hot and cold food but it’s all cold. There is icecream at lunch buffet but only if you ask for it and if they feel like bringing it to you. Some of the waiters were great, some were not. The snack shack offer burgers and cold fries. The drinks are amazing and the bar personnel is great. The restaurants are almost impossible to book, in which you have ten minutes to do so on your smart phone with a QR code. If you do get in, that food is great. The pools and hot tub water were cloudy. The beach is lovely when it’s not full of ship tourists off the boat for the day. The weather was amazing and the workers here worked as hard as they could to keep up.

This resort is for those on a budget and have kids. If you come looking for the great food or nice rooms with AC and comfortable beds, you will be disappointed. The resort appears to be mainly locals with their families and are very friendly people. I wasn't used to having to line up for for food so getting up early for breakfast and reserving the restaurants at 9:01 was the key. We made the best of it and most importantly the kids had a great time. If I was staying more than a week I would have bought a fan and a bed topper at the nearby Walmart.

Kid friendly hotel. It is being promoted as a 5 stars hotel, however rooms are outdated, things don’t work (fridge and a lamp), the airco hardly works (we had to change rooms and the second was just slightly better) and the tiles of the swimming pools are loose and I’m certain parts missing. There are people constantly cleaning and providing good service. This place is convenient if you come for the kids and you don’t mind it’s busy everywhere. Location is also excellent.

We had a great time at the Crown. It is well located near the cruise port and Marina (where many excursions start). The service was great, everyone was freindly and helpful. Food was good to excellent, less so at the buffets and more so at the a la carte restaurants. There are many pools between the Crown Golden and its neighbor, Crown Club, and we were always able to find a quiet spot at one of them. Just not the same one each day.... The rooms were a bit dated, but were clean and comfortable. The only downside was the internet service, it was barely functional. It was tough enough sometimes using it to check weather or book restaurants or excursions - forget about getting any work done (maybe this was a blessing!) All in all would recommend for a reasonably price all exclusive holiday.

Vary dirty and dark place of your a canadain like my famoly and i we spent allot of money going there dont go dont do it. Had to move rooms as pur was covered in mold and bugs and vary dirty and they moved us to another dirty disgusting room . If you are expecting to have nice food while your there i hate to break it to you but your not my wife and i never ate a thing from this resort as it was more catered to locals . The food has zero flavor and had to eat in a conference hall up 3 flight of stairs as the buffet was closed . The staff are all unfriendly and didnt want anything to do with us . I can go on and on about this place on how bad of an experience we had . The last night we booked a air bnb to get away from this dirty old place . If your not a local stay far far away from this resort i warn you now youll thank me later

We went in July, which not crazy busy. Big storms almost every night! But only rained duing the day a few times. Making resturaunt reservations sucked! They fill up right away, then you walk by and see its half empty! Just go without a reservation and ask if theybhad any cancelations! WIFI is spotty, especially in the rooms - I wish I had paid for roaming! We went here for the big water park, but my kids ended up preferring the pool mostly. Games room was fun (pool, air hockey, pingpong, fooseball) but for half my trip the air hockey and fooseball were out of service. Staff was excellent, although most did not speak much english. But they were super friendly and helpful, and fun to chat with. Eat breakfast at the italian resturaunt. Food was only OK for me. They do not post allergen information at the buffet, which made it really hard for me! I mostly had to eat from the special bar where I could point to ingredients, although there was still cross contamination. Adult pool was lame. Just a bunch of barely legal teens. Beach was not great. Sand was pretty nice, but the water gets deep fast and big hard waves. My 6yr kid didn't want to play, and I didn't argue because I didnt feel safe. Tell every mexican you meet that you are going home "tomorrow". Else they will pressure you to buy expensive tours! Dont shop in the markets by the pier. Prices are too high! Go to walmart before you shop in the market so you can sense typical prices, and so you see what items are mass produce, and what items are unique/local.

This is probably one of the worst resorts I’ve stayed at. The AC for us was thankfully working but I found blood in my bedsheets and at the frame of my bed like what!! They replaced the bedsheets but obviously they did not do a good job cleaning and that’s on us for waiting until 4pm to get this damn room. Don’t come here. Food is also trash. The only thing keeping this place up float is the nice staff.

If you can skip this hotel.. do it … service is horrible . Staff are rude and not polite at all. Food is terrible and non sanitary, we found hair in our food. It’s impossible to get help or reservations at all in the “ specialty” restaurants and they don’t allow kids for dinner or big tables . Managers are very rude , pool is absolutely freezing cold , the sea is warmer all the time. The state of the rooms were poor and not well taken care of. And the all inclusive drinks are poor quality as well . Not recommended at all. We went for a family wedding and we loved being in the wedding with our family but a part from that service was horrible at the hotel.

Only OK if you are on a tight budget. Our cruise got canceled and no one told us ahead of time. Also, we made reservations to eat in their "Italian" restaurant but conveniently the restaurant was not notified about our reservation. It was embarrassing. My uncle had a share time, but that didn't make a difference either. He reserved a 2 bedroom room and the receptionist needed written proof so that they could assign him a different room. What a fiasco!

We were a bit nervous after reading reviews, but went with no expectations. Yes, the resort is not a modern updated resort, and yes, they were doing construction while we were there, we could tell they had updated a lot of the paths around the resort, and were working on more cosmetic stuff. The rooms are decent, they could use a good update, however the beds were comfortable, the safe and air-conditioned worked. All staff was amazing, Maida at concierge helped us figure out how to male reservations at the a la Carter restaurants, and eventhough the resort was pretty booked up, we ate at all the restaurants. It didn't feel crowded except for one day when a kid had pooped or puked in 2 pools, then the one remaining pool and the beach seemed a bit crowded. The food was good, always something new to find. It's not as good as going to a restaurant that isn't part of the resort, but it was good for all inclusive. What made our experience amazing was our room cleaning lady, her name is Amada, and from day 1 she was very personal with me (being able to speak Spanish helps), she noticed we had quiet time everyday after lunch and made sure she cleaned our room first thing, always making sure we got enough water bottles. She is amazing. All staff was great, and helpful. Our daughter loved the zipping everyday. This resort is great for families with little kids, if I were going by myself or with friends I would not go to this resort, too many kids and noise for someone who wants to have a relaxing holiday.

The food is not that good, the service could be better, the facilities are just fine. I think there are better options. They are not reliable, the hotel rooms won't be ready at the time they tell you.

The hotel service was good. The staff are nice and helpful but this place has the WORST all inclusive hotel food I have ever had. Most all inclusive food is just decent but this place is far from decent. The food was horrible and not to mention all the flies around and on the food/buffet. Will never return.

This last trip was our 3rd trip to the Crown Paradise properties in PVR (first back since covid) and the first we spent a lot of time at the Club (we were at the adults only Golden next door with full access to the Club) since my nephew came with us for this trip. The staff, nothing has changed from pre-pandemic to now, they are incredible. They are so nice, so helpful, and so happy for you to be there. We had so many great experiences in the Club, but Juan in the buffet was a highlight for sure. The food is what you would expect from a 3* property. Its okay, nothing fancy and can get repetitive, but its edible and being celiac there was always something I could eat. I don't have experience at the a-la-cartes because I'm really picky but I've heard good things. You do require reservations, and like a lot of resorts they can be hard to come by if you are not on the ball. The snack bar is exactly what you would expect from a very kid friendly property; fries, hot dogs, nachos, burgers and some other goodies sprinkled in here and there. If you want more options go to the buffet for lunch. The pools are nice, never really felt over-crowded at the Club like they did at the Golden. Two big pools, one adults only jacuzzi and the kids pool as well. There is also a zipline for the kids, so a lot of activities for them to do on property. Location is great, it is 15 minutes or less from the airport. The beach is nice and big but since its right in the marina where the cruise ships come in it can be rough. If you are looking for nicer beaches go up to Bucerias. I didn't stay in the Club rooms so I can't speak for the beds/rooms but I hear while they are dated, they are clean! Its the same on the Golden side. All in all, does it need an upgrade? Yes. But as long as you set your expectations at an appropriate level you will have a great time. Its nothing fancy but for the price point, location and the staff, you can't really beat it. I can't wait for our next stay at the Crown Paradise! :D

The pictures are super decieving. They are not the pictures of the hotel, they are the pictures of their new hotel. This hotel is super run down, the floors are slippery. We have almost fallen several times and throughout the hotel even inside the buffet restaurant. The food is looks and taste like it was ordered from cheap take out or from the mall. The paint is not even done correctly. Some walls are not finished and the trims are extremely un even. Parts of the ceiling are piling off. And some ceiling are extremely dusty like they haven't been cleaned in years. On a positive side the staff is nice and helpful,.the kids pool is good quality for activities, and the hotel is right on the beach.

This hotel was the worst experience ever! We booked a family suite and separate room to accommodate the 6 of us. The family suite was disgusting...fridge, phone, air conditioning, and hot water didnt work. The room was tiny, the view is a gross alley and parking lot! Terrible. Our separate room was supposed to be ready for 4 so we went to see at 430 and it hadn't even been cleaned yet so they "upgraded" us to another room with a jacuzzi tub and beach view. We walked in and thought okay...maybe this is better. The view was nice but the jacuzzi water trickled out of the tap so it would've taken 3 hours to fill a tub with cold water. We stayed the one night and booked a different hotel for the remainder of our trip. So awful I would not recommend this to anyone ever!

Although every person we interacted with was upbeat and helpful in every way, our stay was less than expected. We were unable to get any reservations at the restaurants during our 9 night stay, and the buffet was mediocre at best. The food was always cold and not once could I say delicious. I was especially disappointed in the dessert selection, I was in Mexico and not once was flan offered. We did go to two of the Club Nitro shows, highly recommend for a fun energetic time of entertainment. We had our granddaughter with us for a couple days, the kids pool area is very nice. Will I go back - nope.

Disappointed. we choose this hotel specifically because of the family friendly environment, which has been great for our kids. However, this is our second night here and our room has no AC, and we probably will not have AC our whole stay. Our fridge does not work, our TV does not work, and i see no phone in the room, as i was tying to order room service. We won’t be staying here for any future PV vacations. i do want to give concierge and the staff in the pools and restaurants/bars credit for being friendly.

The rooms were hot, about 80° (27c). We were supposed to get a king sized bed but got 2 fulls. We were told we could "upgrade" for only $80/night. The place is a time share and most of the resort is reserved for members and unavailable to us. It's located close to the cruise ship port, so the water is very muddy. The southern half of the bay is much prettier. I would not go back.

Great value for an all-inclusive with an excellent beach, pools & dining facilities. We were taken back by the huge number of children. We weren't expecting the noise & confusion of so many families. But we still enjoyed ourselves & liked the restaurants.

Great entertainment for the kids. 2 volleyball nets set up on the beach. Lots of fun playing every morning. Manny is the best!

I was worried when reading negative reviews. Room: I paid little for the hotel so I did not expect a fancy quality like Hilton/Sheraton chain in the US. When we arrived, the staffs were friendly and helpful. I book standard room with view and we got the parking view on 2nd floor. I like 2nd floor since we can have some privacy from balcony and I did not have to walk much using the stair, the elevator is very small. The hallway is very dark with little light. The room is clean but old, similar to an Inn/motel quality in the U.S. The room services were good. The AC is noisy and the room had some old smell that I could not sleep well the 1st night. We openned the balcony door and the it refreshes the air in the room and our night was better (quiet). TV has 10 local chanels in spanish, i should have brought firestick or apple tv to watch netflix/amazon prime. The small fridge has sida/beer/water/juice refilled daily. The food at buffet and restaurants are decent and average. Not fancy but ok. The staffs work hard to keep everyone happy. Free drink/alcohol at the bar near the beach/pools. Free fast food at the snack station as well. I traveled with another family and we have 4 kids ranging from 3-8, they could eat variety of food here. The environment is clean and very friendly. Our kids love the waterpark. They stayed there to get on the slides all day. There are 2-3 other pools for older kids/adults. We also enjoyed the beach, which is very close to the water park/pool/rooms, not far away from the rooms like hilton hawaiian village. We did a tour to yelepa. The hotel is in walking distance to the marine terminal. It costs $90/adult (kid is free). People were very friendly and fun. Overall i think its very reasonable for the cost i paid. The cost is similar to 10 years ago and with inflation, i understand they have to work very hard to keep the cost low to attract tourists. This is a nice budget place for family. If you look for nice room and fancy food, its not a place for you.

To book a reservation for restaurant, you have a 20 minute window at 9am. If not your stuck with buffet. Mexican cuisine is scarce. Of course I'm comparing to Mayan Riviera. 4 star resort is really a 3 star in Mayan. Still, we had a great time!

1st time in Mexico we decided to stay at Crown Paradise Club. Kids friendly. All inclusive with lots of activities and 4 pools to choose from. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Friendly staff and great food. There was also evening entertainment 2 minutes walk from the resort.

One of the best vacations ever. Kid love it because of the swimming pools. Staff are friendly and very good customer service. You will find lots of local people as guests and staff speaks basic English but that should not be a concern as you will not find lots of foreigners speaking different language in swimming pools in Canada so it's same when you visit other countries. You may find it odd some times specially during kids activities as the all the activities were conducted in local language as very few foreign families including ours were living at the time when we stayed at the hotel. The food was ok in the buffet, as the reservations specially in Japanese restaurant for dinner taken up very quickly around 9am. But only 70 Mexican pesos or $5 you can order for room service & there is snack bar serving tacos 🌮 burritos 🌯, burger 🍔 hot 🌭 🍟 nachos from afternoon till midnight .the hotel location is excellent everything is nearby, you can either walk or take taxi for 50-70 Mexican pesos or local bus for 10 pesos to get around. There is supermarket only 5 mins walk, Galleria mall 15 mins walk from the hotel where you can buy fresh fruits, different snacks, dine at restaurants if bored from hotel food. Lots of laundry shops nearby which can laundry, dry and give folded clothes to you 160 pesos or $10-12 for 6-7kg of clothes. My only complain didn't have any coffee or tea option in the room and when wanted to drink coffee or tea only can Visit the buffet place during breakfast/lunch/ dinner times or have to go outside the hotel in nearby convenience store or supermarket for coffee. The rooms are clean, looks outdated but are ok for use. AC was ok didn't make room cold as we like it but it was not hot as well. Overall enjoyed our stay, staff are very friendly, courteous, polite and we got the help whenever we wanted like our room was change without any hassle . We would go back and will recommend others to stay there as well for the price couple of hundreds less than $$$$ for a family of 3 for 7nights stay in 3 star property including airfare and airport transfers. Adding the video of one of the night shows organized the hotel, My kid loved that show

Don't let the outside discourage you. I was a little concerned when we pulled up. Rooms are okay, food was plenty. Disappointed restaurants didn't offer up the fresh salsa due to high cost of fertilizer for tomatoes. Our waiter Jose from Palappa was excellent. Remembering what we liked and when to serve it. Weather amazing!

Convenient location but this place needs renovations. The toilets didn’t flush, room smelled unpleasant, lights would work sporadically, patio door didn’t lock and the a/c didn’t work very well. The reservation system for specialty restaurants always gave me errors. Don’t rely on the website to plan activities for your kids because it doesn’t align with what actually happens. Nice staff for the most part but locals tend to get priority service.
