The staff were friendly and the area was clean. My partner and I came to eat here for dinner and though we liked the food, we wished that the proportions were bigger. We travel a lot and we’ve never ever seen ramen bowls that small before. Additionally, their “spicy” calamari was not spicy at all. It can’t make a little kid cry for water. It had too much batter on it. Their Pacifico beers were also kid-sized. It’s hard to say if we were full enough. We’d come back again, but not anytime soon.

Very hospitable experience. Had many of the Japanese restaurants in the area to choose from but decided here based on the menu and branding. Food tasted great and the server took time to explain each dish. He even split the bowl of ramen in 2 for us without us asking.

Not open on time which is 1pm. No tables set out, we stood there until they set everything up. I had the Tempura shrimp/vegi mix, was ok but as it cooled very greasy. My friend had the Ramen which she enjoyed. Ramen is their specialty... I don't care to be sitting out on a busy street with the dust blowing around.

Really cool place. Saw some great reviews and finding actual Ramen in PV is tough. Of the places we've tried, this was the best. Prices were also excellent

Loved this place! Best sushi I've had in Mexico. Will absolutely come here often. Camarones Roca, Sunset roll and Philadelphia roll were so yummy we ate them before I could take a picture, but here's a shot of excellent noodles with salmon

Such a heart-opening fresh seafood ramen with homemade soya broth! These guys know what they’re doing! Service as well was top notch, prices - absolutely reasonable. Don’t waste your time looking for other restaurants around - Omakase is the place to be!

We have lived overseas and traveled the world over eating at some top restaurants. This was one of the most enjoyable dinners and evenings we have had. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and accommodating, the owner / chef spent a good amount of time telling us about his food, experiences, and his story. All around could not recommend this place enough. A bit off the beaten path and seems to be a up and coming chef with plans to move to old town - I love the entrepreneurial spirit and drive!! Add sake and I would have given a 6 star rating if possible. Thank you for the evening it will be remembered by our families that were there this evening.

It was high end comfort food for me. Guarantee you never had Asian food like this or just food in general. The talented young owner/chef has created a unique twist to every plate and your tastebuds will go crazy! Can’t wait for his future endeavors. If you are unsure what to order, remember the name is Omakase!

This place was a very pleasant surprise. We were not sure what to expect as initially it just looks like a modest café. However, the sushi was fresh and superb. We can highly recommend this place, and will be certainly come again.

Really loved the mojito, salmon yazu, and the sashimi!!!!! The service was top notch. Very unassuming due to the location, but definitely worth the visit. We even topped off with their home made brownie and ice cream and were not disappointed!!

I ordered miso ramen with porkbelly, The ramen noodles came to me super soft, I couldn't eat,  it had a paste like texture, melted in the mouth, the raw fish (nigiri)was bland and had a semi cooked texture, not tasty 😞.

This is a Mexushi restaurant. That is a new category of cuisine. A blend of Mexican and Sushi. Personally not a fan of Mexushi. But gave five stars for friendly service, personal attention and decent food. Oh and they probably don’t know what Onakase means… no Omakase here…. LOL

One of the best meals I’ve had in Mexico. The chefs special Edamame was better than anything I’ve had in the states. The shrimp and noodles were excellent. Teriyaki chicken very good. Everything we had was high quality and tasty. Very friendly vibes as well. This area of Vallarta is a hidden gem

This “hole in the wall” restaurant has some of the best ramen I’ve tried. They were able to accommodate our group of 15 with one server and one chef. All the sushi rolls, ramen, fried rice platters, and appetizers were incredible! Service was excellent. The area is charming! They even have Japanese imported beer! I will be coming back on my next trip to PV!

Ordered this on rappi and got the Terryaki Chicken bowl ... no word of a lie it showed up with 5 tiny dry chucks of chicken 4 pieces of broccoli and the rest was rice ... biggest rip off in PV this far ..

Great food, not very busy, and a very fun owner! Enjoyed my time here and is definitely a diamond in the rough for Purte Vallarta. The ramen was especially delicious! Definitely a place I’ll be looking forward to coming back to.
