This is a lengthy review! My partner and I came here for dinner recently and our experience was averagely okay, not the best, but could definitely be improved for the better. First of all, their restaurant is extremely nice, fancy, and clean. It has a pleasant ambiance to it. Aesthetics aside, their food could be better in our opinion. The soy sauce ramen was extremely salty and I’ve never had soy sauce ramen with broth being so salty before (if you need reference, I’m an Asian person who eats Asian cuisine my entire life). Their broth needed better ratios to combat the saltiness. Their sushi on the other hand weren’t so bad. The flavors were there, and my partner and I travel a lot, but we agreeably say that their sushi is a little to below average in being the best. Although, probably better than the ones we ate here in Pto. Vallarta so far. Secondly, we tried ordering things on their menu, but many items were “unavailable or out of stock”, so we always had to change our mind many times… and it was disappointing. Thirdly, staff want to upsell you to their more expensive items on their menu -- we didn't appreciate that. It was evident that our waiter wanted us to order the expensive items and was disappointed about our choices — which did not make sense to me. We came to eat what we want and the last time we checked, he’s not the one ordering. He got one of our orders wrong for their more expensive miso soup when we wanted the original, basic one — though we just decided not to say anything because we ate and paid for it and let him do his job. Lastly, we think their staff aren’t trained to be professionals. The host standing outside was using his phone and didn’t even look at us, so we had to just talk to the host inside. None of their staff members thanked us for being there or anything. They didn’t even smile, they just got our money, cleaned the tables, and left -- yes it means a lot if you want your customers to return. We didn’t complain in person, but I just want to voice out our experience and our strong opinions so that they could read this to improve themselves, and for readers like you to know what it was like for us. Note: IT WILL ALWAYS BE A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE!

Would have been five Stars if the waiter would have been on board with our table. The kitchen was however, and knocked it out of the park. Freshest and best quality of Sushi in Puerto Vallarta. Beautifully designed interior and quality dining settings from the crystal glassware to the black clay fired dinnerware, and heavy hand painted & lacquered wood chopsticks We sampled a bit of everything and there were nothing but praises for everything food and beverage wise, but we all have our down days and this was probably the waiter's so he gets a pass, because other waiters stepped up and insured we had a great time over our Lunch at Yeo.

Whatever you do, DO NOT EAT HERE. I have been eating sushi my whole life and both my husband and I are used to raw foods but both got extremely I’ll and have food poisoning including diarrhea and nausea all night and I have a flight to catch this AM. This place is by no means cheap at all. We paid over 1900 pesos and the service was great but the food was extremely bland and lacked flavor. I would not recommend anyone to return. If I can give less stars I would have. I have attached the photos of food we ate

Best sushi restaurant we found in Puerto Vallarta. Excellent quality, nice modern, hip atmosphere. Everyone is most Spanish speaking, but Luis the manager is fully bilingual and very friendly and helpful. Spicy tuna roll was excellent. The Yeoshimi is more like ceviche than sashimi, as Yeoshimi is in a citrus sauce like ceviche, good but different.

Only one star so that I can post a review. The salmon on my roll had gone bad. Now I am violently ill, and I fly home tomorrow. I ate one piece and almost vomited at the table. The food is garbage. Stay away. Got the bill and left. Everything is over priced. The service is awful. Not worth it. Won't be back.

Yes Sushi is one of the best restaurants in town. All if their food tastes like they really tried to make it a unique food experience for the customer. The service is amazing as all of the staff makes the customer feel very welcome. And when you are done with dinner their chocolate cake with berries is like eating an amazing block of chocolate...you will have dreams about this dessert. Wonderful!

Some very traditional sushi options, but lots of fun twists and some local flavor. Everything we tried was fantastic and the service was on point. The "club vibe" was a little more than we care for- it was difficult to talk and enjoy our group.

Good vegetarian options and 2x1 drinks all day long I went here with my vegetarian friend and we had the Green Roll, and made the Monkey Roll vegetarian by asking for no shrimp. I had no idea what to expect from the monkey roll, as its plantain and peanut sauce, and it ended up being one of my FAV rolls of all time, seriously delicious! I’m not a vegetarian, so I also tried the chicken Bao, which was super good as well. Drinks are always 2x1, all day, every day. We got the manzana mezcal cocktail, which is almost like Christmas in a glass It’s smoky because of the mezcal, but fruity and tart from the apple. Incredible! The have indoor and outdoor seating, usually have great music pumping, and a good overall vibe.

We go to Yeo at least once per month and we always enjoy it. We love the fun, lively ambiance, the service is always great and the food is always solid. The crispy rice cakes are a must and the favorite roll is Tuny Especial!

The place is nice, service was good too. But me and my husband both didn’t like the food, all rolls were way too salty, there was no flavor or texture balance unfortunately.

Yeo Sushi is by far the best sushi place in Vallarta. The food is very good quality and the taste is what I expect at a sushi restaurant. The vibe is very hip, good music with video DJ. Drinks are 2x1 and are very good. Had a birthday dinner 6 and everyone loved it.

We were visiting in Puerto Vallarta and stayed at the Hilton. We ordered delivery and received our very large order within an hour. The food was packed beautifully and everything tasted great. We’re from LA so we know good sushi. I highly recommend trying this place. They’re efficient, great service, and wonderful food.

This restaurant is a sushi lover's dream! The freshness of the ingredients and the meticulous effort put into each dish by the chef truly shine through. While it leans towards the expensive side, the value is undeniable. In comparison to other sushi spots in Vallarta, where flavors can be lacking, this place offers a plethora of excellent flavors and dishes.

Incredible detail and flavors. This is true food art, every texture and flavor was on point, even the Wassabi was somehow fluffed up so that it disolved easy in the soy. My only suggestion would be to make the Wassabi a little bit more spicy punch to it. Overall, worth every penny. Great ambience and decore as well.

Went to Yeo Sushi tonight. We ordered the Softshell Crab Roll (which was our favorite), Grizzly Roll, Moshi Roll and the Tuny Especial. All rolls were 8 pieces. They offered normal soy sauce and a special soy sauce that had lemon and orange added in. I wasn't crazy about the special soy sauce but my wife loved it. They also offered sliced jalapeños on the side for those that like to add that. Overall, the sushi was excellent and so was the service. For those that don't like cream cheese in their rolls, only one of these rolls had it.

Absolutely excellent dinner the chefs preparing the rolls are exquisite! We asked for 3 rolls of chefs choice and they did not disappoint. The nigiri was so beyond delicious. Service was very attentive and anticipated your needs.

Unagi!! Deliciousously crafted rolls, prepared with precision. Amairani and her assistant attended to our every need, sometimes even before we thought of them. Phenomenal sushi coupled with outstanding service.

I have to say, sushi was probably the last cuisine I would’ve chosen to eat in Mexico, but my semi-local friend said he had a really good place for it, and he’s generally not wrong. I loved it all and everything we had sat with me as expected. The sweet spicy edamame had an incredibly delicious sauce on it and I could’ve eaten 5 plates of it. I have incredibly mild tastebuds and they had a small kick (if any) to them. The yeoshimi (mixed) was great, but I think I would get all tuna next time. With Serrano, this was a bit spicier but I definitely enjoyed it. For maki, we had the maguro roll, and I would totally order this again. The only loser was the tako carpaccio, which shows up at the table with a cover on it, to keep “smoking” the dish. I felt like it was drenched in bong water. Went on a Monday evening, and wish we were told (ahead of time) that it was 2-for-1 margarita night 🤷‍♀️
