The score of 4.9 is crazy. Probably done by paid reviewers. It is a rustic bar with 4 TV screens trying to show 4 different games at the same time. Commentaries overlap. No reception. No English speaking waiters. It is run by the same management as the Burrito Truck parked. alongside. Ambience is zero. The chairs had been purchased from the Salvation Army second hand store. The Caesar Salad had a heavy (?) dressing. The chicken Cordon Blue came wrapped in a thin layer of Fried pastry. They apparently had beer but no wine or cocktails. We went there as it was raining and we could get there without getting wet.

Fabulous find! Delicious tacos, generous filling portions, perfectly seasoned! Cold beer, corn hole games, outside or inside seating. Just so happy to have found this. Servers are wonderful, friendly. Very affordable! Locals & US tourists were here tonight. Put Burrico Loco on your list.

Burritos por Americanos!!! If you are the type that visits the food capital of the world and eats at McDonalds, then this is your joint. Not saying PVR is the food capital of the world… Jokes a side, as someone else mentioned, large burritos the size of Texas but not tasty like real TexMex!

Wanted to catch a hockey game and was not disappointed, put it on for us right away. Family owned business with a personal vibe to it. Never been to a bar where I helped make my own caesar. The Burrito truck outside has some of the best burritos I've ever had, Jean Paul is also one hell of a guitarist. Worth a visit.

Terrific tasting burrito. Good food portion for a good price. A couple at an adjacent table raved about the tacos.

What an awesome bar restaurant! Can’t say enough about the quality of service provided by the owner Mark. He makes you feel like family! The shrimp tacos were delicious and the coldest beers in town always hit the spot. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the karaoke is so much fun. Strongly recommend to any one looking for a great time with real people !

This was a fun spot till catch the last game of the NBA Finals. The staff and the owner are super nice. The food was good and the prices are in also good. I can definitely see watching some football games here this fall. They also have a pool league you can join

The service here is impeccable. I don't know how they do it, but the staff is always so friendly and helpful. They've got a great selection of drinks and food, too. The wings are delicious, and the ribs are cooked just right. The pool tables are also in great shape—and there's plenty of space to play!

Perfect sports bar is The Americana. It boasts the best cooks in town, cold beer, good music, and a terrific atmosphere. It's a great spot to unwind with friends, sip on some refreshing beverages, and support your preferred team. The proprietor is affable and well-versed in all things athletic. The cook is excellent at producing amazing meals that taste like they were prepared by an Italian restaurant. The staff is all very welcoming and accommodating.

Excellent bar, fun moments, and excellent music. I adore this location. It is spotless and teeming with amiable people. There is no waiting around for a drink because the bartenders are friendly and serve you simultaneously. Also excellent is the food! Their chicken fingers and fries are my favorite.

I love this place. It is the best sports bar in town. They have great ribs, wings, and they have a pool table in the back. The food is delicious and they have a variety of drinks to choose from. I would recommend going here if you want to eat something different than your usual fast food places!

Excellent location to see sports The cool beer is my fave. I love beer, and this shop has the best assortment. Also excellent is the food, particularly their wings. They offer a variety of sauces that pair well with their wings. If you haven't already, I advise trying them out!

Best sports bar ever! We have nothing but praise for Americana Sports Bar. We frequently visit there because we enjoy the chilled beer, excellent music, and lively atmosphere. The chefs are great, and the proprietors are welcoming. We advise everyone to try it!

As a sports bar, Americana Sports Bar is a great place to go for a night out. With a beautiful bar and lovely pool tables, it's the perfect place to relax with friends and family. The food is great and the staff is friendly. The menu includes everything from classic wings to gourmet burgers. It's hard not to find something that you will love! The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. If you're looking for somewhere to hang out with friends or family, this is your spot!

My favorite bar in Puerto Vallarta. Good food, the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and the ribs are my favorite. Friendly staff, the owners Mark & Montserrat are great! Upstairs is the best place in town for a game of Pool.

Went for the first time yesterday. I had a great conversation with the owner. Just stopped in for a quick beer to check it out. Ended up eating the most amazing chili dog and a few extra beers. If you are craving an American style sports bar...please stop in. I can assure you...you won't be disappointed. Big screens, friendly staff, great food, and the coldest beer in PV. I'll be back for more. Btw....go Oilers!!!

This place was so fun! I got to practice pool, and eat some really awesome pizza. Everyone was so nice especially the doggy bartender Lucky.

Such a fun lively sports bar. Several big TVs and the service is amazing. Never Have to wait for a drink or descriptions or recommendations about the menu. Very friendly fun place to go. Sue is fantastic!!!

Ordered a deep dish our first night moving back to vallarta. For $40+ I was astonished at what they called a pizza. One, the cheese had never melted. It was fully intact. Two, it was completely burned black on the crust (Joe that can happen, I don’t know). It’s not dough, it’s like bread. Horrible. I don’t recommend.

Americana Sports Bar is easily one of the best bars I’ve ever visited.  It made me feel like I was back home and it was actually a better bar than where I frequent in the states…better TVs, better pool tables, cold beer, and Mark and his staff offer great service and they’re fun to hang out with.

I arrived just before this amazing food truck opened so they did not have all the food prepared. The lovely lady asked me what I was wanting and I ordered a chicken fajita burrito. She told me that they did not have rice or beans ready yet but would be willing to make one without those ingredients. It took only a few minutes for the chef to whip up my burrito and OMG it is without a doubt the BEST burrito I have ever had. I will be back again soon to try their other offerings. This place is so worth seeking out!

Absolutely awesome burrito! Liked it so much we went back the next night for another. I ordered a side of rice and I have to say it was arguably the most flavourful and nicely cooked rice I’ve ever had.

I'm not much of a food truck gal, but when I say run RUN as fast as you can to Burrico Loco! This man is an artist. Huge portions priced right. Que Rico! 👏👏👏💖

Me and wife were walking by and saw this food truck! Staff and cook was awesome, as vegetarian our taco were loaded with bright colors of all veggies and test amazing. We ordered twice and got beers from a store 2 blocks away. It was great. Highly recommend this place!

The best shrimp burrito, chicken fajita taco and marlin fish taco we had for dinner tonight.

The people at the front desk told us the Americana is an excellent sports bar for food, drinks, and games.  I’m glad they recommended this place.  It turned into our home base on our Puerto Vallarta vacation.  Their staff is really friendly and they had lots of excellent tips on the area.

We heard about the orange taco truck at our resort and how good their food is, so we had to go and check it out for ourselves. Wow, what a find!  There’s also a fantastic sports bar behind the orange food truck called Americana Sports Bar.

This bar is kind of like a really nice refugee for gringos.  They have all the American and Canadian sports, tasty food, large drink menu, and their staff speaks English.  Mark their owner is a really nice American guy from Los Angeles.

Some guests around the pool at our resort were talking about what a good time they had at the Americana bar so we gave them a try.  They were right!  Great food, good prices, super friendly staff, and their American owner had some great vacation tips for us.  We ended up visiting them practically every day.

I love this bar! It's always a great place to come and enjoy some delicious drinks and the best wings in town. The owner, Mark, is a great guy who knows how to make you feel welcome. He always has a smile on his face and is eager to make sure that you have a great time at his bar. I would highly recommend this place if you want to go out with friends or grab dinner with your family!

I love their bell!  It was fun hearing it ring over and over during the NFL playoffs.  The Americana is one of the best sports bars I’ve visited with lots of trips all over Mexico.

I love the ribs at this bar! They are amazing. The burritos are huge and delicious too. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is lively and fun, and there's live sports on TV all day long. The only drawback is that there isn't a lot of parking available within walking distance, but if you can get your car close enough to walk, it's totally worth it!

We had a great time at Americana Sports Bar! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the cold beer, great music, and live sports we wanted. Geronimo made the best food we've ever eaten. Ramon was an excellent cook. And Maria is just a sweetheart. We'll definitely be back!

I went to the Americana Sports Bar in search of a new bar to hang out at. While the bar itself is nice and has good drinks, I had my eye on their food. The burritos are huge American style with top quality ingredients. However, their wings are buffalo style, large and meaty. The wings are great for sharing but are not something I would eat by myself.

I've been to a lot of American sports bars, and this one is by far the best. The ribs are amazing—they get the meat right, and they're not too tough or chewy. They come with a side of cole slaw and baked beans that are both delicious, and they have a great selection of beers on tap. The bar itself is pretty small, so it's hard to find a seat without having your back to the TV (which is usually playing soccer). But if you want to watch soccer while you eat, this is your spot!

The burritos are ok. They are HUGE so I'm guessing that's why the note is so high, but to me it wasn't worth a 5 stars. FYI I took the burrito arrachera. Definitely not in my top 5 Burrito places in Puerto Vallarta...

The staff is lovely and so nice!! Diablo tacos were delicious. Highly recommend for any tourists a little shy to dip toes in the water outside their resort comforts. Sits in front of the American Sports Bar and you can order from either one when you sit down.

The bar staff is wonderful, the drinks are fantastic, and the atmosphere is perfect. I love this place! It's my go to spot for a night out with friends. Everyone at the bar is friendly and helpful, and if you're not sure what you want to eat, they'll give you recommendations. The food is great too—they have traditional pub fare as well as more upscale options like steak frites. They also have a pool table, which is definitely one of my favorite features of any bar/restaurant!

I had the best ribs and wings I have ever had at AmeriCana Sports Bar. The owner Mark was very friendly and took great care of us. He even gave us a discount on our bill when we told him we were having a party. The bar is very nice and clean, there are plenty of pool tables for everyone to play on, and the food is great! If you're looking for a place to get good food at a reasonable price, this bar is definitely worth checking out!
