Wow! What a great breakfast spot. The food was delicious and the presentation stellar. The service was excellent and we had a lovely covered table on the sidewalk. The hotcakes were excellent. I tried the Argentine sandwich and it was very good.

Really great place. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Their coffee is excellent. Arepas were also really nice, as was the omelette. We'll be back for more!

Wow, I was SO impressed with this place! A hidden gem in Cinco de Diciembre. The staff were super friendly and bilingual. And the food, wow! I got the french toast and it was the better than any fancy brunch place I’ve been to in the US. Super rich, with fresh fruit and maple syrup on the side. The Oreo frappe was perfect as well. Everything was done in an artisanal fashion. Definitely earned a repeat customer! Can’t wait to try more menu items.

A cute street side bistro on Calle Bolivia in 5de Diciembre. Very cool menu, my type of food. They also brought my boxer A doggie treat and bowl of cold water. I had ice cream with fresh berries and dark chocolate and a glass iced green tea. Excellent customer service. Bank card are accepted, street parking only, but not a problem here, guest restrooms available, and high chairs not needed because of the chair and table design. Recommend it highly, stop by and say hello.

What a fantastic little cafe with AMAZING AND VERY TASTY FOOD. It was so good I went two mornings in a row for breakfast. Prices are great, not expensive at all. The wait was about 30-45 minutes from ordering to delivery but there is no rush at all, just sit back and enjoy a strawberry smoothie 🥃. Staff are very nice and one gentleman (possibly the manager) speaks great English if you require that. We ordered pancakes and omlettes - presentation, taste, price and atmosphere are top shelf 👌 I highly recommend this place.

I want to love it, the food was admittedly delicious, but the prices listed in these posted menus are radically less than the actual cost. For example, instead of 55 pesos for french toast it was 125 pesos per order. For pancakes it was 85 instead of 55. The total bill for our three person take-out was nearly double the total per menu price. Please update your online menu prices!

Great spot for breakfast in 5 D. The S.American menu is a nice respite, although they do offer more typical breakfast MX classics. The coffee is excellent. We've had 2 of the Aerepas filled with our choices, Mexican eggs, fruit and granola bowls, all with lovely presentation. Staff and owner are friendly and English speaking also a good place to practice your Spanish. We've enjoyed breakfast here 3 times and I'm sure we'll be back maybe next time for lunch!

Wish we could have tried this place. After checking Google and seeing a 4:30pm closing time, we headed over and got there at 3:35. We went in and got strange looks only to be told the place was closed and a shrug when we mentioned the google closing time. The young lady explained that they close at 4 and therefore start actually “closing” at 3pm. We could have been offered coffees to go so that was a lost sale. Instead, we went to the Green Place which we highly recommend. It’s airy and lovely and is open until late!

Fantastic coffee / cappuccino! Probably best I've had in PV and I've had some very good coffee here. Super friendly owner/staff. I didn't have much to eat, great vibe. It's a little further up the street than the map shows so don't give up.

The food we actually got wasn't bad, and the place was pretty cute on a quiet street. The coffee wasn't bad either. However they missed parts of our order (I am a native Spanish speaker, so it was not a translation issue). Rather than correcting our order, they brought us the wrong sandwich. When we noticed, and let them know instead of being sorry they told us it would be an extra cost, despite it being their mistake. We stopped by on our way back to our hotel, thinking it would be a casual coffee shop lunch thing. They brought out my wifes (incorrect) sandwich and proceeded to take over 45 minutes to prepare my arepa. I don't know how much longer it would have taken because I let them know we had to get going. They proceeded to fumble my refund, taking money out of the tip jar, then the register, and between the three employees couldn't figure out how much an arepa cost. I nearly grabbed a menu to show them. We were hoping this would be our regular breakfast spot while visiting Puerto Vallarta. It had a really cool vibe, but that was all smoke and mirrors.

This place only looks nice. Took an hour to cook a simple order with nobody else there. Our food didn’t even come at the same time the food they did bring was completely over cooked and service was awful. If your looking for good authentic food this is not the place don’t waste your time like we did!

Wonderful South American-inspired breakfast selection — arepas, tajadas de plátano, eggs to order — and a great hot drink menu, make Memories a must if you’re in 5 de Diciembre.
