We were recommended to go to La Lulu by a local we met one night and wow, did it exceed our expectations! It’s not in the usual touristy spots, a really cute little area of PV that’s really special to walk through. They’re known for their raicilla, which is in the same family as mezcal, and their cocktails are beyond good! We had the tomato soup, the salads Rosa, the portobello mushroom and the lamb - each dish was delicious and so creative ! The mushroom is cooked in clay and they break it open at your table, it was super cool! If you go, ask to be seated in Abby’s section. She was an amazing waitress and hostess and she made our night really special and fun!! A definite must if you’re in Puerto Vallarta for a few days. Enjoy!

Located next door to Barrio Bistro. If it's a last minute decision for dinner and you aren't able to get a table at BB try Raicilleria la lulu.

If you are looking for a calm, nice atmosphere with very friendly staff and high quality food for good prices - then this should be your spot. We had a great dinner. You have to try the raicilla!

Great food, friendly staff. I went here on a cruise excursion to sample raicilla with Memo Wulff mixing cocktails and straight and flavored raicilla which has a smokey taste similar to Islay whisky. Was delighted with the food too.

Love this new place. The decor is very bright colorful and very happy. The lamb tacos we're absolutely amazing. Try the plum ricia drink I just sip it. can't wait to see the private room available for private parties this winter.

My favorite place and experience in all of PV. The staff is so welcoming and kind and made me feel like family. The best cocktails i had my entire week stay in PV. Nothing quite refreshed my pallet like this place. The food was also amazing and the chef is self made and a great host. I wish it was in my home town. You have to obviously try the raicilla, there are several different flavors. I bought a bottle for home! Can't wait to share with my friends

This is a part of Barrio Bistro now, and it was our favorite place for a relaxed, fun late night drink. The bartender, Dan, is 100% the best. Their drinks are delicious and food is pretty good too. You’ll feel like family here.

This was place was DELICIOUS! Not only were the drinks out of this world, but the food was cooked to perfection! The service, especially Abby, was phenomenal. This will be our go to restaurant every time we come to Puerto Vallarta! 10/10 recommend.

Arguably the best Racialla bar in the world, and home to more small batch, local distillers than anywhere on the planet!! And an artistically amazing bartender to help you choose 😜

This is a treat in several ways. You can either sit in the Bario Bistro or in La Lulu or the garden in between and enjoy some of the best food in Vallarta. The Chef Memo Wolf excites with a new menu every week. You have a selection of starters and main courses to combine as you wish. His creations are on par with some of the best gourmet temples I've visited. Don't forget to try his home made Raicialla - some are 100% Agave angustifolia (yellow) which creates a nice fruity aroma.

This was our most beautiful dining experience in P.V. so far after 10 days of eating out at least once a day. We weren't even looking to go out for dinner tonight, we were just strolling through the neighbourhood, when a charming gentleman—who, as it turns out, is the chef and proprietor—invited us inside. We mentioned that we had our kids waiting for us at home and he asked us what they liked and offered to make a special meal for us to bring home to them. With an offer like that—and the most charming outdoor patio I've ever seen—who could refuse? Perhaps he is like this with everyone, but I felt like the chef gave us a VIP treatment. He came to our table several times to talk to us about the menu and what we would like to eat. He sent out complimentary appetizers, which were amazing. We ordered the calamari on pasta with white sauce and a Mediterranean pizza, which wasn't on the menu but, after finding out my preferences, he offered to make for us. Everything was completely delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. The ambience was magical. It felt like a dream. And to top it all off, when the bill came, we realized it was one of the most affordable meals we've had since our arrival. We'll definitely be going back to Raicilleria la lulu. I wish I could transport the whole thing back home with me. It was that good. Thank you for such a special evening.
