From start to finish, the front desk was unwelcoming. The breafast crew were nice, helpful, and attentive. Be aware of extra unknown chargers upon checkout. We were charged an extra 1200 pesos for a fee that is generally included in 95% of the hotels. For example, if you get sick, your kid pees the bed, you spill something, etc. This particular hotel will charge you. They are also willing to lock you out of your room, no matter the time, at their convenience. We were locked out 3 times because they had a message for us. Generally, hotels will use the phone. Not this one. So, do not expect to feel welcomed upon arrival. Though breakfast and beds are great; the customer service will leave you bitter. Will not visit this hotel again.

Visiting from Canada and had an amazing stay at this hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the hotel is clean and welcoming. Our room was spacious with a large walk in shower. The outdoor pool is warm and so lovely. The best part was the breakfast, there was a large variety and it was so delicious. The best part was one employee we saw each day at breakfast named Eduardo. He was so hard working, always on top of everything the customers needed and really took pride in his work. We looked for him on the last day before leaving to thank him but couldn't find him. Thank you Eduardo! Your hard work certainly did not go unnoticed and you made our stay that much more memorable.

Bed bugs crawling across all of the beds in 3 different rooms they tried showing us. After discovering them crawling under the sheet of our first room we checked the beds in the rooms they offered us to switch. Every bed had bedbugs crawling on the surface. By appearance, it is a great looking hotel, less than a year old. The staff is friendly and helpful. The main problem is they have a bug infestation that, judging by our experiences, impacts every room. Hopefully, they will treat this problem quickly before guests have their items infested and take bugs home with them.

We decided to stay here for the first night of our vacation since our flight was arriving at 11pm. This hotel is 5 minutes away from the airport. We took a taxi but we could have walked it is perfectly safe. We were greeted nicely when we arrived at midnight. The next morning we had their complimentary breakfast which was great. They had quite a variety of hot food options and the service was beyond exceptional. We have now been in the area for 3 days and haven't experienced better service elsewhere.

The air went out during the night without notice and the front desk wasn't very helpful. They finally fixed it a few hours later but it was sooo hot! They didn't provide any complimentary toiletries. That was unusual but other than that, the hotel was good. The breakfast was good as well as the staff attending the breakfast area. The location of this hotel is good as it is very close to the airport.

Upon arrival there was a bit of a mix up. The front desk sent us to their other Hotel (Holiday Express). Not sure what the mix up was but luckily we didn’t have to pay the taxi twice! Location is near the airport and across from the Marina. Pool and hot tub was nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. Comfy beds. Quiet rooms. Their breakfast is absolutely worth it. It’s a buffet style so there is a bit of everything. They even have assorted fresh juices! Wifi was super fast! Staff was very polite and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, the locations perfect. Good breakfast and the rooms are super comfortable but the best part about all our stay was the staff. They are all so cordial and welcoming. Anything we needed they tried to accommodate for us and helped us. 10-10⭐️

My favorite place to stay near the marina. The property is much newer than most others in the area, so rooms are a bit nicer. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Great place in a convenient location. I was upgraded to a suite which was amazing. They have an amazing pool. Service was amazing and staff was very nice and professional. Will stay here again.

We came here to spend a week during our first long trip out here. The hotel is super close to the airport (less than 1/2 a mile away) and only 20 minutes from the Romantic Zone and the Malecon. We got a suite that overlooked the pool and a nice view of the city in front of us. The room overall was amazing. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, the living room was just the right size for 2 of us, the huge balcony, which includes a dining table and 2 chairs to sunbathe in. My only small issue was the lack of actual hour water for the shower. It was luke warm at best, but in retrospect, the heat outside warranted a cooler shower. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of options. I didn't visit the bar downstairs, but I did see it was fully stocked. The gym had what I needed. Cardio machines, dumbells, and a weight machine that allows for many different exercises. The highlight is definitely the pool. Fresh clean water, 4 to 5 ft deep and a great temperature. Also, housekeeping was daily, which was a plus. I would definitely recommend staying here as I will the next time I'm in town. Great location, very affordable, and enables you to experience the city the way it should be done.

LOVED IT! Rooms are great and comfortable. Smells lobby and hotel smell like lemons. SERVICE IS WONDERFUL! Probably the best customer service i’ve had. The gym is great. The views are great. Overall just a great time.

Was an amazing stay as soon as you walk in. The hotel smells amazing and all staff have smiles. Room I was in was massive with beautiful views. Rooms had 2 bottles of water. Close to the marina and other shops in the area. Golfing right across the street. The views were amazing from the hotel room to look out and think about your next adventure.

Located just a 15 to 20 minute walk from the airport. There is airport shuttle. However there's also free parking if you rent a car. This is a really beautiful and clean hotel for a really great nightly price. We paid and booked on hotels.ca and it was less than $200 Canadian per night and includes a free breakfast which is not so great in my opinion. Pretty much the same thing every day. There was scrambled eggs, tortilla chips, refried beans, some fruit, hot coffee and tea, and some kind of vegetables and meat mixture everyday with really hard sausages and stale pancakes. We were on the 6th floor at the end corner unit with a really nice wraparound balcony, large sliding doors, a really big suite with two sinks in the bathroom. A very large shower and tub and a separate toilet room. Lots of storage. There was also a small fridge and there was cutlery and plates and cups as well as a seating area for eating and two televisions. But most of the channels are Spanish. We were able to get CNN in English. The pool and hot tub are on the second floor with beautiful views of the city and amazing sunsets every night. The pool is only 4 ft deep the whole way but is extremely warm and comfortable even at night as it is open till 10:00 p.m. The hot tub is not very hot at all for a hot tub and the jets don't work. We mentioned it to the front desk but nothing was done for the time we were there. Lots of lounge chairs by the pool and tables and a pool table as well with very clean bathrooms. I love that they have a late checkout which is 1:00 p.m. and we were able to extend it to 3:00 p.m. as our flight back to Canada was not leaving till 5:30. This hotel is located across the street from a little plaza with a Soriana grocery store and has everything you need and several restaurants walking distance to Marina Vallarta with a market on Thursday nights and lots of other restaurants and a Starbucks.

I have stayed at ihg properties throughout the US and several other countries. This was one of the best properties I have ever stayed on. Even some of the higher end properties in the ihg family do not compare. Truly outstanding!!!

Can’t rate this hotel highly enough. Lovely staff. Immaculate. Lovely decor and art work. Rooms are fantastic, super comfy beds, high quality linens and towels. Room service. Lap pool, huge hot tub. Excellent WiFi. Free. Free late checkout ( I checked out at 2pm). It’s a few minutes walk from the lovely marina, near shops and restaurants. Easy access to Malecón - downtown. 20 min walk so amazing beaches. (1 mile) but it’s through marina so a lovely walk. Only thing to say it’s primarily focused as a business hotel so it’s super efficient and clean. It’s lovely as no waiters hanging over you or such like. Check out my photos. Only caveat is it’s next to a busy road so near pool there is road noise but not in rooms. Although it’s also super close to airport it has zero view or noise of planes as they all land/take off different direction . I’ll be back ! Get the Suites 800 sq ft , you’ll be glad you did !

Great location close to the airport, it was clean, well accommodated, breakfast buffet was included and it has a great selection plus you can order omelets or quesadillas from a cook on the line, facilities were clean and well taken care off, asked reception to call me a cab and they happily did and they came fast, came to this hotel by accident, my flight was cancelled called many places but this one was the only one with rooms.

There was only lukewarm water in the room/shower. The food was mediocre. And the room was extremely humid, and the AC didn’t help. For a brand new hotel this was disappointing. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice. The staff do not speak much English, but we’re friendly.

The breakfast buffet sausage gave me food poisoning and diarrhea for a day straight after eating there. It the only thing I ate that my family didn't eat and I'm the only one who got sick and ate nothing else the rest of the day. The rooms are very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant waitress was very rude and refused to take my dinner order and ignored me, the bar tender at least let us order a beer and acknowledged us.

It's a really nice place to stay if you go for business or for a short time or break. It has nice atmosphere, great customer service and delicious breakfast.

Mostly nice staff except some cleaning improvements needed like in pool and hot tube also if they forget to place you two bottle of water in your room they will not replace those so you have to buy them instead

One of my worst experiences I've had in my travel, something in the bed were bitten us, we broke out with welps and a rash all over our bodies. The hotel move us to four different rooms, same results, the hotel had the adesity to insinuate we brought to the hotel whatever it was we had. As soon as we got home had to get medical attention.

Great stay, close to everything and free breakfast. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was perfect. The airport is down the street and the marina is directly across the street

I love the place, stayed three times, but there are 2 big problems: 1: the wifi kicks you off every 30 minutes or so, you have to sign back in every time. Terrible when you’re trying to work, conference call, or stream videos. 2: the air conditioning in the rooms never shuts off, and is very loud. Very annoying. For this price, it’s not acceptable really. These problems can be fixed. If they are fixed , my rating will improve, because I like everything else, including the breakfast 👍
