In this surreal tropical paradise, a surreal sculpture is the best metaphor, I love Sergio Bustamante's work and this one invites you to think about human reasoning process.

Such a beautiful bronze monument, like all the others in the malecĂłn of Puerto Vallarta. It's composed by 3 people: two climbing a ladder and another one screaming to them, in search for reason.

This is one of the many sights to see along the Malecon walkway, and is a picture spot. Naturally, while we were there some 'jerk' decided to 'climb' the ladder, which is NOT permitted as this is a work of art and not a gymnastic item. If you are going to Puerto Vallarta, then the Malecon is a must see, it has lots of interesting statues, monuments, sidewalk vendors, and speciality shops alone with many great places to eat. Plan on spending about an hour and a half walking the one-plus mile, and then another hour in the shops or eateries. Also, be sure to hit the art galleries that are on the side streets on both sides of the main road {200}.

Creepy square headed oversize children on a ladder to nowhere ... oddly many people climb to the very top rung and pose for a near death experience photo, guess this statue draws stupidity ....

This surreal monument is the place where I took all my friends who visit me for a pic.
