We were excited to support a black owned business in PV, so we were looking forward to our breakfast here. Unfortunately we didn’t have a very good experience. The food was extremely slow to come out of the kitchen for everyone in the restaurant (one table even had to change their order to to-go because they were waiting for an hour). I ordered the chicken and waffle bowl meal but they forgot to make the chicken and just brought out the waffle bowl. The waitstaff was disorganized and the older waitress actually seemed to be under the influence of *something*. Great concept for PV, but the workers aren’t executing it well at all.

What can I say? Reesi has created a little gem just off the Malecón. We visited with friends last night as it was Karaoke night and we thought it would be a great end to a wonderful day in PV. Our friends are regulars there and said we would have fun. What an understatement! It may not be a large spot but the party was hopping when we arrived. A lot of talented people providing Karaoke entertainment and we were welcomed like family. We’re a little down as we only had a short time in PV, but Reesi, you can bet we’ll be back for sure!

Ain’t no thang but a chicken wang! Best fried chicken wings in town! This place is so cozy and charming! A great place to hang out, enjoy a cool beverage and some delicious bites. The staff and owner are super friendly and make you feel welcome.

It's an Excelente Café/ Restaurant with a surreal Brooklyn vibe. A place where you just stop in and stay talking, eating and drinking for hours!! Everything is perfect!! They have board games, TV, music and the most friendly servers to make you feel right at home. Delicious breakfast,☕🧇🥓🍳 lunch,🍔🥙🥗 dinner🍗🥘🥩 and drinks that are loaded exactly how you want with a bit more to be sure they're perfect!!🍷🍸🍹🍻 And they're just one block from the Malecon!!☀️🏖🌴 Gets better and better every time I visit. Great new dishes. This is a must!!😋😋😋 After all this time it's still GREAT!!

Went here today with a group of friends for lunch. Everyone loved their food, really fresh and made with care. They have cocktails too. We had a few different items, brunch egg dishes and fish and smoothies. Salads were amazing. There's seating for over 25 people. Very close to the beach. Definitely recommend.

A five star restaurant is expected to be great ! A small Brooklyn themed & named micro-restaurant is always a wonder, the first time. Specialty mixed drinks are available and offered evenings. A mid-day place from 10am-5pm, with evening reopenings for various holidays and etc. The prices we're nether high or ultra-budget. I enjoyed a double order of coated French fries, with a very well made, & presented, crisp light salad. I asked for two beers, (one at a time). $320 pesos + tip. A better than average experience. No TV or music, so best with a partner, to chat with.

It was so good to find this place after hiking the Mirador. Cute place, good vibes, delicious food that was worth the wait. The potatoes were good too! You don’t leave this place without a hug! Edit to add: I am dairy-free and this place was accommodating.

I’m in PV for a week, and had breakfast here twice. Love this place. It’s a short menu but every single thing on the menu looks amazing. The food and the atmosphere and the staff are all excellent. Definitely recommend.

IYKYK. Best Chicken Wings I ever tasted. Listen, I’m from GA and all we make is chicken. Reesi got us beat. If Reesi didn’t beat us, we are tied for the best. My goodness them wings the truth. I would’ve ordered a 10 piece. Fresh to order small place but they take care of ya like family

The owner Leo sat with me and we shared stories back and forth. The food is incredible and very reasonably priced. After feeling homesick the past few days this was the exact pick me up I needed. I cannot recommend the cafe enough.

Very friendly people and excellent service. Food was delicious. I was there for breakfast but on weekends, they offer a brunch option. I was travelling and dining solo and thoroughly enjoyed meeting and chatting with Lilly and Leo. Although, I didn't try either, they are quite proud of their homemade grits (Leo has lived in southern US) and cheese cake. When I return to PV, I will certainly return here.

I absolutely love this spot! The staff are incredibly friendly, inviting, and warm with a hospitality that keeps me coming back. The food is fresh, beautifully plated, and full of comfort. Plus the taste hits and gives me a feeling of home after traveling for a few years. I highly recommend the PB&J and grilled cheese for sandwich lovers. They both hit the spot and are new favorites for me. 😊

This place is great….The cook, bartender, host, manager and owner are all great, but mostly the food…it’s a very comfortable atmosphere, you feel like you are at home enjoys great company….I can’t pick which food item I love the most because each time it’s better…. Brunch is great you get a meal, special drink and dessert for only 300 pesos

This is a great place to find and spend an hour. Reesi was born to be a host and her personality makes the cafe a fun event. Had a good little breakfast, very tasty bacon, coffee, and OJ. I’ve never been to Brooklyn but think this has the feel of it 👍

Isn't it great when you discover a hidden gem? That's what Reesis' Brooklyn Cafe is. I've been here twice and will return often. Why? The chill vibe, great owner, Reesi, and her friendly, attentive staff, the great lending library, the ambiance, and most of all because of the people it attracts: a diverse group of chill, interesting people...Not to mention the great food she serves and the excellent music she plays. You GOTTA try it!

Went here this morning because I saw online that they had like a croissant French toast. First time here we actually got to meet the owner. Very friendly and helpful we were looking at an apartment to rent nearby. Which we did get so we'll be going here a lot in the future. The food was outstanding the service and atmosphere was fantastic.
