Great little, quaint bar/restaurant. The restaurant and bar are two separate businesses that share the space so you'll have two separate checks, but it is a nice cozy place with a neighborhood feel.

Frida's bar is a local bar and restaurant that has been in PV for a long time. The staff is friendly, and the prices are good. I wish there were air conditioning during the summer months. However, the last time I had diner there, the chicken of my dish was really bad. I politely told the guy who owns and manage the restaurant there, and he laughed at me. He said the chicken was old and the next time he was going to give me a bigger knife to be able to cut it. If he knew that, why did he serve it? He should buy good quality meat. Then he wanted me to invite a drink to his friend. I found that really unrespectful, and obviously I will never have dinner there again.

The food was wonderful and the service as well, but what I can’t stop thinking about is the guy that made me my tacos back in august. We planned a date and I gave him my number. It only took me months to realize he probably texted WhatsApp, and I didn’t have it set up. This is strange, but if you’re out there reading this, I got the app. Text me, find me again. Oh gosh, this is on google! Blush ***

Prices leaped from last year. I had wings which were a bit undercooked. They were also pricey.an order has 7 small wings for 154 pesos. The staff kinda makes up for it.

Frida's was such an amazing welcoming place, or as the owner calls it Frida's 4.0 as this is the fourth change of locations since it's inception many years ago. The staff were incredibly friendly, the drinks were plentiful, and the food was delicious. We met some friends that evening and had the best time It's such a small cozy place. I can't recommend this place enough off the beaten path, quick Uber ride from Hotel zone or romantic zone near the Malecon. We will definitely head there again upon our return to PV. It was such an amazing evening that I actually forgot to take pictures, so you know just how good of a night it was lol

Excellent service, good food (perfect guacamole btw), and such a nice staff. A bit different from other places since they split the bar and kitchen tab, but not a problem in my opinion. Will definitely come back if ever in town again.
