A place that feels like home when abroad, MANY of the same items you'd find in a Costco in the states were available at very similar prices. That said there were things like some red wines and bourbon that had a much higher price, likely due to importation. All in all, the atmosphere was great, prices felt fair as they do back home and it made the trip much less expensive overall. One thing to note, as of late May, early June 2022 they DO NOT accept the QR code in your app as a way to check out. You'll need to show your membership number to customer service and get a temporary card. This would have been much more convenient to know upon showing the QR code on entry than to find out upon checkout, but here we are. Still happy Costco customers :)

Pretty amazing. It was my first time here in Puerta Vallarta. The collection of wine and alcohol is very impressive. You can get some top notch champagne too. There were so many people but we were relaxed and had a nice chat with the people in line. We stocked up and taxied home. It was a bit challenging to get a taxi.

Good value and friendly professional service. Good selection of wines and spirits. Quality cuts of meat and large selection of frozen foods. Buy toilet paper and paper towels here for volume pricing. Love the cooked chicken.

It's consistent with all Costcos. You will find a lot of stuff here you can't get anywhere else. Their meat department and bakery are competitive with local shops but most other things are higher in price. Shop your local stores for regular items at lower prices.

This is a great Costco, just like in the United States. Great selection of foods and products. Huge selection including great prices. Very safe and friendly environment. We highly recommend. The store is huge and clean and the staff is friendly.

I can't belive how ignorant and rude ppl are when costco opens in the morning. Mostly the seniors. Unbelievable how they just cut in front of ppl lined up with cards already to get a cart. Shame on you old ppl that I would have thought grew up with better manners. Go around the back of the line. Worse than hungry cattle.

What can be said about Costco honestly, same lineups different country lol.. The only thing I would highly recommend for this place is that they have two separate cashier locations for commercial shoppers. Prices of the restaurant are exceptional as usual, and they actually have jalapeno peppers, and churros on the menu.. How can you go wrong with those combinations lol They have a prepared foods section at the back near the rotisserie chicken area, such as sandwiches etc that are amazing. Again the lineup to pay at the cash on both sides extend it all the way down towards the back of the store, It was over 45 minutes to get through the line to get out. It was bad enough that at one point the woman in front had melted frozen foods in her cart by the time she got that cash that had to be replaced.

Costco used to be my favourite, but now with the crazy lines at the cash register, I avoid it at all cost. They really need to open another Costco for Nuevo Vallarta, to help take a load off the one in Vallarta. It’s really crazy the time it takes to get out of there even if you are only buying 2 things. Over 45 + min lines sometimes.

You can't fully experience Puerto Vallarta unless you go to Costco! Clean, well stocked and the people are exceptional. Great prices and so much fun because you knew know what you might find.

The grand kids are coming down to spend time with grandma and grand dad, so have to make a special trip to Costco to stock up on food that the kids like. Found everything we needed.

You really need to do your homework and know your prices before arriving here. Or have deep pockets. The only deal on red wine was a box of 6 from Chile for 600$. Lots more for lots more $$. Big store with lots of food you couldn’t find elsewhere. Really liked the pizza and the food stand is well priced but have your membership card handy. They will need to see it.

Great store, employees are very helpful! There are two types of mobility scooter here! One is weight rated to about 300lbs and the other to 500lbs! You can see which one is which by looking at the steering posts or basket. Sometimes they don't have any available, but you can sit and wait for one at the entrance.

Always in order and clean. This week is a little shy of product, so they must be getting new unseen stock in

Wildly over priced. I'm Canadian and I know the price of what I always buy. Count on adding 20-30% to your standard go to items. I brought two extra suitcases of household items down for my airbnb. Pillows? Double? Sheets? Double. No thanks.

It's costco like anywhere else, busy but can find good sales, same prices as Canada, some products more money, who does love shopping there

Generally good, but often very busy, making the experience a bit manic and crazy. If you’re in and out with something in mind, it’s worth the trip, otherwise, try the local shops instead.

Incredible duplicate in MX of goods & services in the US. Pizza, for example, tasted exactly the same. Ample parking, carts, and assistance.

Costco is my favorite store. I have been a member since the late 80's. It is interesting to see that Costco in Mexico looks the same as all the Costco's in the USA. Sad to see that the prices are high for the locals. Costco seems to sell the same products they do in the USA and just convert the price in Mexican currency. For Americans that is okay but Mexicans who get paid well make about 3,000 to 4,000 pesos a week which is the equivalent of $150 to $200 dollars per week. Buying at Costco with the higher prices does not make sense to locals. At this Costco in Puerto Vallarta there were mostly foreigners walking around. To me it was like being at home at my local Costco. For about 40 minutes I got a chance to browse my favorite store. Will definitely be back for some prosecco and lower price red wine 🍷.

Big fan of Costco and always have been. A lot of people do filter in and out at all times during the high season, so the lines are a bit long. Friendly staff, will take some of your payment in American currency, and give you a better exchange rate when using a credit card. Will also give you a slight discount when using all cash

Always packed! Go early in the morning if you can expect a line. Uber doesn’t pick up, so your need a taxi.

When you shop at this Costco, you will experience one of the worst in the franchise. The packers are poorly trained, they chat with their friends while throwing raw meat on top of your bread. The staff are not friendly and make the members feel like we are pain for shopping there. Wish there were other locations to shop at, because this one is beyond frustrating.

4 stars because they run out of stuff. Specifically cat food and where are all the kettle chips!? But love going there anyway to check and best place to fill up gas and get a hotdog. Do not get a separate drink, the drink is included with your hotdog.

Hey. This is Costco. But not Costco America or Costco Canada. Some things cost more than Soriano or Ley. If your price conscience shop around. Just know they have good quality and sale prices are generally better.

All this Costco needs is to replace the coffee grinding machines... They're antiques and cannot do fine , refined coffees. These machines are available in all Costco's N.American locations, they're fast and 👍
