We stayed there for a day on a non busy weekday, so we were the only people there. Small property. Rooms were okay. Food was homely and good, except the fish finger..which they didn't charge after we complained. Pool was small but not very well maintained. We read reviews about maintained pool but didn't find one, maybe because it was a weekday and they didnt want to clean it for just 3 guests, though we prebooked. Overall okay experience. BUT the problem was.. if you ask to clean the room during your stay, as when you go to the room after swimming pool the room becomes wet, and also after bathing if you ask them to dry the bathroom or if you ask for an extra towel... THEY WONT PROVIDE SERVICE. And as this was a weekday and there was no one even after us.. we were feeling a little relaxed during checkout and we were half an hour late.. as we knew there was no one to check in, suddenly the Manager called me and insulted me and ordered me to leave the room immediately. They didn't intimate us even for once that we have to leave right at checkout time...rather behaved like this during the first call itself. We always travel and have never faced this kind of behaviour to women even if we were a little late during checkout which is normal everywhere. And i felt bad about another thing.. they have caged rabbits in a very dirty and dark cage.. where the rabbits fight amongst them and kill each other. I requested them to try and make a different space for them where they can move around in the open air and also not run away.

Unrealistic and unreasonable price of food. They literally will loot you, they were charging 440/480 for 4 tiny pieces of chicken/mutton, and the person in charge has a very bad attitude, he thinks he own us. The location is quite good with a lot of restrictions. I wouldn’t recommend this place, because How they treat you matters the most.

The only tricky part is you have to understand the road direction shared by Hotel manager carefully and avoid the road marked as "congested" otherwise Google prefers that road and you may end up in a tricky situation. The location is fantastic and it is still a pristine location. Over tourism has not killed it yet . The rooms are very well maintained. Food is pretty good but the portions can disappoint you.

Great place for a one night stay. Very reasonably priced. And can be easily located on google maps. Jhuri aloo bhaji was served in dinner but was cooked in the afternoon. That was very wrong. Almost a crime towards the dish. One point of inprovement to make this property even better - add an indoor game room. All in all, a great stay. Definitely worth a few more visits soon.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. Staffs were really helpful and friendly. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the river and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. However the Enroute to the resort is a terrible experience. It was quite narrow and quite impossible to drive on this road with an SUV. It felt like a personal space, very clean and cozy, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is very good with 5 rooms including 2 cottages. Mainbuiding is 3rd Floor. But lift is not available, it is difficult for old person to go on the top floor. Also driver rooms is not available here. They are staying at a corner in Dining room. But a good thing is wheelchair accessible here.

Very nice location, right on the bank of river Hoogli. Nicely located rooms, lavish lawns and ample car park within the gated resort. Sumptuous food and generous service. Ideal for a weekend gateway with family and friends.

12th of this month we were there, really beautiful place to stay, clean, awesome location, and specially the food; unbelievable test, like mother's preparation, as the owner taking care personally. Would like to recommend, atleast once, visit there. Price also reasonable.

We went there on 1st jan.. Property was Nice & clean.but small property on the river bank. The place is quiet peaceful... But the food quality was not good enough according to the price.. we booked daypackage . The price they r taken for 3times food extremely high... The place is not at all reasonable ..

Complete relaxation and leisurely trip from the exhausting daily life. Staff are extremely well behaved. I went along with my mother and two aunts. They enjoyed a lot. The garden is well maintained. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food are healthy and the staff served according to the requirement for elderly people. Even Shakti,the caretaker bought us medicine at late hours.

Location was nice. And a nice garden/ sit out. These are the sole good things. But the driveway was horribly congested. Should think twice before going to this place. Single road , becomes completely congested once a vehicle comes from opposite direction. Food was substandard. Expected much better. Staff behaviour very bad especially trying to throw out guests if check out time was over. Swimming pool was dry No provision of boat ride noted as mentioned in boat ride. Not worth spending money here

Situated right on the river bank, this property is worth a visit for a couple of days- the ambience and decor are pretty good and the staff courteous - the food is absolutely like home cooked meal although a tad bit pricey! The pool is well maintained and the outdoor grounds too are praiseworthy; We loved our one night stay here and recommend this place for short staycations near the city yet away from its hustle!

It is a wonderful property and an excellent getaway for a day or two. Enjoyed the riverfront sitting area and lawn, the nice swimming pool and well appointed river view rooms. It is a kid friendly property with co-operative staff providing good service). The road from Joka is in a sorry state though (takes over an hour to cover the 25 odd kms by car) and travel by public transport may be a bit challenging. Would strongly recommend it for quiet getaways not so far from the city. Also is a good day outing option for picnic lovers.

A good week-end /day-out destination on the bank of the river Hoogly for Kolkata people. There is a small swimming pool for guests, against payment of 100/- per person. Accompanying kids can enjoy some rides. Rooms and toilets are clean. Car parking is available. Food is good.

Road to the resort is narrow, but you forget that once you reach there. Beautiful placegreat hospitality. Would love to go again.

Very nice place, specially if you want to spend your weekend in peace. The food is very nice and totally home made, not to mention extremely delicious and authentic Bengali food. You also have a swimming pool if you want to spend the day relaxing and the sunsets there are splendid. Totally totally recommend this place for everyone to visit at least once. There are rabbits and birds as well so an animal lover like myself was pretty occupied with them as well. Evenings are a total bliss here, so quiet and beautiful.

The resort is located in a quiet environment on the banks of the Ganges. The natural scenery is very beautiful. It is an ideal place to spend a day or two The rooms are nice but the bathroom is very small. The uppermost room is a problem when it rains during monsoons. Water enters the room. I don't know if this problem is solved now. However, if you go in winter, it is not much of a problem. you won't get any fancy food. don't try Chinese. Benga dishes are good.

Good place for a short excursion, but the pool maintenance sucks! Staffs don't even bother. They will be rude to you but in a subtle way. Canteen has a limited stuffs to choose from, their staffs will deny most of the food printed from the menu. Mind you food prices are on the higher side. However the food quality of whatever they provide is commendable. Overall you can visit once just for the amazing river view you get

The resort is a small one but neat and clean. The landscape is beautiful, garden and pool is well maintained. The property has just one cook so not much options for food available although the taste is good. Outside the property there might be safety concerns.

Small and beautiful resort, very well maintained. Very beautiful location. It was nice to meet Mr Mainak, the proprietor himself. Staff are friendly & helpful. Food is very good. Approach roads are a bit narrow to drive so go via Bibirhat road. Don't follow Google maps alone, do your research.

Beautiful place to unwind. On the bank of river Ganges. Reasonable tariff. Very helpful staff. Good homely food. The owners take personal care which makes guests very comfortable. WiFi available. Only problem is the approach road which is narrow and conjested. Overall, very nice experience!

Ambience & staff are really helpful and always at your service. Mrs Paramita Sen is cordial. Rooms are spacious & clean with excellent service including tooth brush, paste, coffee maker with sachets. Only problem is with free breakfast which has very limited options and not buffet!

Wonderful place to spend leisure time, on the Bank of River Ganges, with River Facing rooms. Rooms are neat & clean with direct river facing. Food was delicious. Service was good but needs a bit improvement. Overall fantastic.

The place ONLY looks good ... Rest are as follows: Pros: Very well decorated. Very well planned. The natural environment around is serene. The view of Ganga River meeting with the sky is majestic and magnificent. Cons: The location is extremely remote. The charges for per person is way too high as compared to the services provided. The service men must inculcate professional behaviour. The rule for the pool is each person has to pay 100 INR if getting into the pool. If u are going for a 1 day trip, u will have to pay 1100 per person which includes only the breakfast, lunch and evening snacks and for room you will have to pay even higher rates, it doesn't even include the pool charges, even if it's only for a day. Advise: If money is not a concern for you then u must visit as u get to enjoy a very subtle connect with the nature.

Excellent, well maintained, relaxing getaway. Very nice staff, hospitality and delicious food. Clean and enjoyable swimming pool for both adults and kids. Lovely location amidst Ganges. Refreshing experience, highly recommend to visit.

Me and my family booked a cottage and a deluxe room for 2 nights and we were very happy with our stay. The property and the rooms and the swimming pool is very well maintained and very clean. The location and the view is mind boggling. You can sit on the swing in the evening and look at all the boats and ships prassing by. The service was top notch. Everyone in the resort were very friendly and provided great service, especially Shakti, who took great care of us and provided us everything we needed. The food was good ( more like home made food ) and was good quantity. My only suggestion is to put an Air Conditioner in the dining hall as it can get very hot and sweaty. Overall a great resort. We had a great experience and would highly recommend it to others.

We had a delightful time in the serene environment of your Resorts. The location is marvellous, rooms are well maintained food is great, support staffs are very well mannered and very cooperative. The resort is located on the bank of the Hooghly river and has an amazing view of the river. It is well planned with a beautiful garden, swimming pool and a restaurant. The adjacent road of the resort is very narrow and fit for a small car/ Toto/ auto etc The overall ambiance is excellent.
