Stunning venue for our wedding. We loved that there were different areas on the property for guests to move to throughout the day, lawn games were provided and there were so many beautiful backdrops for photos. So many of our guests said it surpassed any wedding venue they had ever been to. During our planning meeting Caryn explained that their goal is to make sure everyone is well fed and they certainly lived up to that, we had the 3-course set menu and our guests couldn’t believe they received 3 protein choices, as well as sharing plates, everything including the canapes and desserts were just to die for. Caryn, Trevor and Wendy were so outstanding to work with, responsive, easy going and accommodating. They made us feel like family and we cannot wait to go back and visit one day soon.

My husband and I got married at Tabula Rasa Events Centre in March this year. We came to Caryn 6 weeks before the wedding date and our experience with her and her family was incredible. Caryn had fantastic communication and organisation skills. She made us feel relaxed during the entire process. Caryn and her family are very approachable and professional. The venue is tucked away. You wouldn’t know it was there. The gates open and you are transported into a little wonderland. Our guests were so impressed with the layout of the venue, from the well-groomed gardens, to the ambient lighting and the warm and peaceful outdoor area where we had our reception. We had around 80 guests at our wedding and the space was perfect for this. The staff on the night of the wedding were very hospitable, helpful and professional. Thank you to Caryn and the Tabula Rasa team. You made our wedding day so special and a day we will never forget.

We held my 80th Birthday at Tabula Rasa. I would recommend this venue for any special occasion. Caryn and the team couldn't have been more helpful both in planning the day and looking after us while we were there. The food was delicious with the grazing platter being served outside and the main meal served inside. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful day.

We had our wedding here last year and I hope our review will do this beautiful place and amazing people justice. From the very first meeting we had with Caryn, Wendy and Trevor, Tabula Rasa met and exceeded every expectation we had. They were so welcoming it was as if we were meeting with family. They made every moment so personal and I can not thank them and their staff enough for the everything they did. I suggest if you are even just considering holding your wedding or event at Tabula Rasa, meet with them and see it for yourself in person. Our guest continue to compliment everything from our day here.. the food is amazing (we had platters, mains and desserts) the venue is gorgeous with so many possibilities of how you want to personalize your day. It was such an elegant and sophisticated venue yet inviting and welcoming. I experienced a lot of problems just weeks before with hair and make up cancelling, florist cancelling just two days before, family dramas and it felt like just a whole lot of bad luck. They could see how anxious I was the day before but they just had everything under controlled, organized so efficiently and I honestly can not thank them enough for helping me get through the day. On the day, we had so much fun and it was such a relaxed experience because of the team here. They went above and beyond anything that was asked and we loved everything about them, the venue, the pool, the accommodation, the food and the staff. We had our wedding here and loved everything about it. The venue is stunning with lots of areas for your ceremony and photos. The gardens are immaculately tended and the whole place is presented to the highest standard. The staff are super professional and attentive. Caryn helped us to plan the day, so it was like having a personal wedding planner at no charge. All of our guests loved the food which was delicious with a varied menu. On our first visit we knew Tabula was our dream venue. The staff were super friendly and calm & helpful throughout. Delicious food, gorgeous views & amazing atmosphere no matter the weather. Our photos turned out so great as well. We are so happy that we chose Tabula Rasa Wedding and Events Center. A hidden gem truly. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful venue, was in love with the place as soon as we arrived to veiw, the gardens and different spaces to have so many things in is great, ceremony in one area, games and guests in another and so many picturesque places to take many beautiful pictures, staff were wonderful. When the first time we visited Tabula Rasa in Apr 22, we decided straightway this is our wedding venue. It is a very lovely garden venue and lots of spaces people can stay, have fun and enjoy. We met Caryn, Trevor and Wendy, they are so friendly, they walked with us around the venue and gave us a tour, talked with us to understand our needs, set up meeting with us during the preparation and help us all the time to set up our wedding and guide us for preparation from end to end. From booked the venue and we had our wedding late Jun 22, even only 2 months but it was a very successful wedding, we all love it and all guest enjoyed this, we felt really relax and just have so much fun. The staffs in Tabula are the best, friendly and easy going and always there to help. What we truly felt in the wedding is we are all been taken care well and no stress at all. Tabula Rasa means "a new start", our married life starts here with so much happiness. Thank you so much @ Tabula Rasa (Caryn, Trevor, Wendy & all staffs) Plus price is very reasonable and we feel the service is definitely exceed our expectation. Many options to held the ceremony and receptions. Food and deserts are really nice as well plus fun lawn games which make guests are really happy. Plenty places to take nice photos is an extra bonus. We had such an amazing wedding day at Tabula Rasa. The lead up to the day went smoothly, Caryn's communication and gentle suggestions were much appreciated. The sun stayed out on the day, so we got to use all the different areas of the garden, which included the kids being able to swim in the pool. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. When we first checked out Tabula Rasa in Ramarama, from the moment we stepped on the grounds it felt like home. We just loved being able to walk through the entire place, and each area felt like a whole new sacred sanctuary. Both our hearts knew it was where we would say “I do” and how fitting that it was only a short drive away from the place we both first met! Caryn and the team go above and beyond. The gardens are just stunning, the open ceremony area with a back up plan just in case, and the FOOD! We can’t forget the delicious kai — it did not disappoint! Thank you all for helping create the most wonderful day for me and my family; you are all AMAZING!

Wow .... is all i can say ! looking for a venue for our wedding. From the first inspection 16months ago, we fell in love with this place. Booked it on the day - and never regretted it. The hosts, Wendy, Caryn & Trevor were fabulous, they listened and did everything we wanted without fuss, to make our Wedding day magical. I would highly recommend this venue, to anyone. Having the option of indoors if the weather turned also was the icing on the cake. A Beautiful place with Beautiful people running it. 10 out of 10 in our eyes. - Absolutely Amazing !

As soon as we arrived at Tabula Rasa for our first viewing, my husband and I knew that this was the venue for us. We were met by a welcoming and friendly team who were incredibly helpful. Caryn, Trevor and Wendy took the stress out of what can be a really stressful time, and made us feel at ease. Caryn talked us through the big and small details, and in our final planning meeting, she discussed and created a schedule to ensure the wedding day ran smoothly. My husband and I really felt listened to, valued as people, and the relationship did not feel like a transaction which was huge to us. The venue is absolutely stunning, delicious food (we still get compliments), and so many great options in their expansive garden for your wedding photos. We can't thank the team at Tabula Rasa enough for making our wedding day so special, and we would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful garden venue.

If you are looking for a beautiful garden setting, along with lovely and caring vendors, then i highly recommend Tabula Rasa. We had looked at many outdoor venues for our summer wedding and ended up choosing Tabula Rasa as Caryn, Wendy and Trevor were just so lovely and so amazing to deal with, we really loved that we were dealing with the owners, rather than just workers at a business. The venue itself is also beautiful, very well kept and looked after. We got married the week of the cyclone and there was not a branch out of place, they worked hard to ensure the venue was in immaculate condition. So many of our guests said how good the food and dessert was, along with how beautiful the venue was. We loved getting married here and we will be forever grateful we choose this venue :).

Attended a wedding at this venue, the grounds, buildings, staff and food were beautiful. The wedding ceremony was held on site in a beautiful garden, moved to a different garden area with pavilions, games and drinks, then to a covered dining area. It was a lovely intimate venue, that made a special day even more special. Plenty of parking onsite.

Tabula Rasa was the perfect venue for our garden wedding. As we were living out of Auckland, we wanted an all-inclusive venue for the most stress-free planning, and Tabula Rasa ticked all the boxes. They provided everything from a beautiful shaded ceremony area, to our first dance under festoon lights. This included lawn games, portable sound system, lots of food for canapes and dinner, and multiple photoshoot areas. Caryn was absolutely wonderful to work with, and all our guests raved about the beautiful venue and delicious food. I absolutely loved our wedding day at Tabula Rasa, and I highly recommend Caryn and her team if you are looking for a beautiful venue for any special occasion.
