This is quite "Malaysian" Malaysia. The food, the environment and even the songs in the restaurant are typically Malaysian set.

Omg, shock of my life when I went to my favourite Asian restaurant to find that it had been closed down. I live in Auckland and was travelling to HAMILTON and thought, ‘Yassss! Victor’s for lunch. Was almost heartbroken when I saw that the restaurant had been closed! At the moment, I flicked through my Snapchat stories and found that my cousin had been snapping images at the restaurant that appeared to have closed 14 hours before and I’m like, ‘yoohooo, have they relocated?!’ and she confirmed and gave me the new address! I was a happy lil camper and found my appetite had returned. Victor - you need to mention on your website that you’ve changed address k...? Otherwise people may think you’ve completely closed down... but because I’m a loyal customer, I sorted that out for you. Patrons - The new reastaunt (if you haven’t been yet) is an intimate setup, with an exposed kitchen that allows customers to see what goes on when their order is being prepared. It does have a few flights of stairs to reach the restaurant, but once you’re there - order up! My favourite dish is the string beans - highly recommended! I can eat that on its own for a meal. Check out the website for the entire menu A+. If you’re on a wheelchair - bring a young person to carry you up

We got invited by a friend to this restaurant. The meals are.mostly Asian like Malaysian Chinese but also the atmosphere and the surroundings is like you are in Asia. We went upstairs to our right. There is also a conference centre and bar at Victoria's Place. The food was delicious and the service was great for me. We thought the price was reasonable. I do not know if there is a lift for the physically challenged community. We ate heartily and still managed to take our leftovers meals away. The biggest challenge is finding a car park in central Hamilton. It is not the establishment's fault. I just want to warn you about parking. It is better to arrive early to find a car park. Enjoy your meals

The yum cha option were great, especially the dumplings, dim sum, sesame balls and durian. 5/5 stars. Also got their bbq, which the whole family found it to be god awful, both in texture as well as taste.

Restaurant is very spacious and tables are not closely arranged which is a plus for conversation. Food was good and tasty, in a reasonable good portion too and very friendly customer service.

FUSION Rating - 110% the best restaurant i have ever went to. The most exquisite meal my family and I have ever had, staff were very attentive, welcoming and so lovely. The chef was amazing in the quality of food that was produced and delivered. Absolutely 5 stars for Fusion. We definitely will be back 💗

This is my second time here. Food was average last time. However this time the food was disgusting. Pork ribs were all stucked and sticked together. Everything we ordered were not fresh. The fried yam was so salty, my husband tried it first and said extremely salty and then I tried, it's as if we were eating a spoonful of salt directly. Chicken feet skin broken as if it's falling apart. Siu mai was pale and chewy. Not fresh at all. We didn't even eat half of what we've ordered and complained paid and left. Really dissapointed. We will not be back again.

Great value for money authentic food. Kid friendly. Generally always get a booking. Totally recommend, especially for groups.

We booked a large group and were told that it would be best to pre order our food to ensure the kitchen could get it out in a timely manner. We watched as group after group arrived after and was served their food before us. We waited over 2 hours before our pre ordered food arrived. Some people didn't get what they had pre ordered and had to either place another order or go hungry. The food was average at best. The best part about this 'restaurant' is that it is byo 😅

My youngest daughter has always loved Yum Cha since she was tiny. She used to insist on going to a place where your feet stuck to the floor but that got knocked down. We were all sad puppies for a while until we discovered Victors. I know nothing about Chinese food, but the team at Victors deliver little baskets of deliciousness every time. For us it's like Groundhog Day. My wife and daughter order the exact same things each and every time and like clockwork they come out just as lovely as the last time. I can't recommend this place enough if you want a friendly, busy, enormously menu-ed chinese restaurant where you can seemingly eat your own body weight and still emerge with only a tint scratch on your credit card. Every time a winner. Well done Victor. You've got fans for life.

Last week's dinner visit was not what we expected. The standard of the food was poor. The beef rendang was beef slices with a golden satay sauce - this was definitely not what beef rendang is. The steamed chive dumplings were clearly reheated following lunch - they were overcooked with the skin broken. The BBQ pork serving size was OK but instead of the normal BBQ red colour was insipid pink with a thin oily film. We have decided we won't gone back again. This was the second time this has happened. Victor's Place used to be a favourite of ours and we went whenever we were in Hamilton. We thought the food for our $97 was very poor quality and even lower value for money.

Ordered delivery. Very very small portions for the price, especially since we had the same dishes not long ago and the size has changed drastically. Nice food but definitely not worth the cost.
