Pula Market is a wonderful place to gather acquaintances, friends and great shopping opportunities. The market place is the lifeblood of the city. A place where locals like to meet and sing with a glass of good wine. The market place is well designed and well organized. The construction of the Pula market began in 1902 during the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, and was officially opened on October 18, 1903. The iron construction from which is made, it is a real construction marvel, and today it is considered the most beautiful market in Croatia. It was a place that connected the rural and urban population, and has remained so to this day. At the foot of the market on one side is a modern fish market, and on the other are butchers and grocery stores ( shops for cheese, salami, ham, cod, prosciutto, olive oil....). Upstairs there are several catering facilities (bars and restaurants) and several grocery stores. The atmosphere in the bars is always great because the local residents often organize meetings with tasting of good prosciutto and cheese. Then be sure to follow the chants with a glass of great wine. In the open part of the market, local products such as vegetables, fruits, honey products, prosciutto and cheeses are sold.

This is farmer's market place. You can buy fruits, vegetables, delicacy and local alcohol specialties. If you are looking for some gift or relic for memory, this is a good place for that. But note that is not too cheap. This is not perfect for weekly shopping.

I love to visit local markets when discovering new city. Pula’s city market is full of fresh vegetables and fruits, honey, lavender products, olive oil, cheeses and there is a small nice shop selling truffle products. Get a sausage with truffle or a small jar of truffles to add to your pasta at home;) There is also a big passage with fish and meat products. On the upper level there is a drink terrace, where you can have a rest and sip a coffee:)

Fresh fish from local and local fishermen, fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers, meat and meat products from local producers and butchers. You will find it all in one place. Partly outdoors (fruit and vegetables) and partly indoors (meat and fish) in the historic center of gravity building from 1903.

Make sure to arrive early in the morning to get the freshest fruits and find a parking spot. Most of the customers are locals and on top of it you have all the tourists, so it is very busy. Before you buy stuff compare all the vendors to find the best deals and you always can talk about the price 😉

Nice place. Honey, garlic, wine and flowers all over. But the smell in some spots is not as nice as it could be.

Good place for gathering young or old people. Many caffe bars and restaurants around. Near old city core.

Like every market it's closing quite early, exspecially the fish stands. The signs say it's open till 16⁰⁰ (fish 14⁰⁰) but often they are long gone by then. Overall a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits, cheese, seeds and nuts, mushrooms and some dried flowers as well as spices and of course olive oil. In a nutshell a very cute market presented on fixed stone tables, metal stands and two market halls.

Got here too late...it had closed! 1*... Luckily been here a few times. Proper market both inside and out. Great bargains and very good value places to eat and drink. Get morning bus from Rovinj, eat and drink then taxi back seems a good future challenge.

Beautiful market with fair prices. The marketeers are more than friendly and generous. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and local. Would definitely recommend it to go by.

Good selection of local vegetables. Not enough of local fruits. It's a bit too expensive but there is always a possibility of discount if you are buying more. It is busy and interesting place.

Nice Market at Pula. Inside u find fish, scampi, calamari and shellfish. There is a Meat Market too. Outside u get everything from fruits to vegetables, spices, Olive oil and honey and tons of other stuff. it's worth a visit.

Great local market! If you like to visit fresh markets, you must not miss this one while staying in Pula. Lots of local vegetables, fresh fish and meat. Some affordable anchovies and octopus in jars and lavender are there to buy. The people are friendly and welcoming.

If you like to visit fresh markets, you must not miss this while staying in Pula. Lots of local vegetables, fresh fishes and super cheap price. We went twice to make our home cook dinner. Love it. The people are friendly and welcoming!
