Beautiful historical place. If you are going to visit the Amphitheatrum I do recommend visiting this Temple too. It is kinda close to it. Must watch, but go there on foot because there is NO parking nearby, only if you are really lucky. Although it is nice,in my opinion it is NOT worth going inside for that money. If you are interested in history then yes, but elsehow i do not recommend.

It is a pity to find it like abandoned. I'm not sure if i see much care from Pula city townhall to preserve this and others historical places. In my opinion this is a mine gold they need to preserve... Bit disappointing the city historical places in terms of conservation. Not appealing to return another time

If you’re in Pula, there’s no reason not to go. A quick trip is all you need to see this piece of history. They even have a designated selfi-spot for those in need of a new social medial display picture. There’s a fee to go inside (a very small one) and we found this place by accident so we were unprepared to go in. Overall, it’s located in a beautiful area and what we could see through the door was also beautiful. Definitely recommend taking 20 or 30 minutes to check it out.

A really interesting place. More from the outside, than the inside. The inside exhibition worth the price. The cashier was really bored and a little bit dumb. He was playing with his phone. There was really bad (loud pop music in an ancient temple) music in the temple. Overall it was good.

A well-preserved Roman temple in the city of Pula, Croatia (known in Roman times as Pietas Iulia) located on former Roman Forum near the City hall. Dedicated to the first Roman emperor, Augustus, it was probably built during the emperor's lifetime at some point between 27 BC and his death in AD 14. It was built on a podium with a tetrastyle prostyle porch of Corinthian columns and measures about 8 by 17.3 m (26 by 57 ft), and 14 m (46 ft) high. The richly decorated frieze is similar to that of a somewhat larger and more recent temple, the Maison Carrée in Nîmes, France. These two temples are considered the two best complete Roman monuments outside Italy. You can visit the cella (inner sanctuary) for the price of 10,00 HRK.

A lot of history and best to visit early in the morning when the square is empty, otherwise please be patient if you want to take a great picture. Beside the Colosseum, fortress this square and the temple are a must see in Pula.

A piece of roman architecture very well preserved. We arrived in Pula very early in the morning so we could not get inside. Yet the exterior looks very nice.

Surprising historical building in the centre of town between normal buildings. Ancient building, and you can visit it inside - tickets (2 EUR per adult person). Inside some ancient monuments or pieces of monuments. Worth to see!

An absolutely unexpected find for us - we hadn't researched the city's landmarks beforehand and were charmed after seeing this architectural heritage. An incredible feeling and emotion. Perhaps one of the loveliest surprises in the city - it is located in a sweet and cozy square with pleasant establishments and, of course, many tourists.

Small but interesting temple, that once was part of a larger complex with three temples, built during the lifetime of Emperor Augustus early 1st century CE and dedicated to him. When I was there november 2022 the inside was closed At the back of the Town Hall next to this temple you can see the remains of the Temple of Diana that once stood there

There is nothing special inside maybe 10 artifacts from the Romean empire but the square around the location is full of life, with restaurants, cafeteria's and etc. A walk to the old market is a must thing to do..

The Temple, and the square in front of it, are a must see in Pula! It has history, it is spacious and right in the middle of the rustic part of the city, often hosting events like concerts, movies, dancing or gladiators.

Picturesque ruins. We got up early to catch the morning sun on the columns, less people too at that time. Well worth the effort if you're an early riser!

This is another temple built in honor of Emperor Augustus, the first leader of Rome. This Augustus Temple is located in the city of Pula, today Croatia. The Romans built this temple for almost the entire life of Augustus, i.e. from 27 BC to 14 BC. It is now one of the best preserved monuments of all the remains of the Roman Empire. Due to its almost intact condition, the temple has become a space showcasing important ancient artifacts and Roman-era sculptures.

Beautiful temple located in the main square/old forum. Entry is included in the Pula card or, you can pay at the door. It looks amazing both day & night as it transforms in each setting. Highly recommend just taking time to sit back & enjoy the view, even if you don’t know the history behind it.

Very well preserved considering it is more than 2000 years old. You can get inside the temple for a fee if you want.

It will take you back in time. The whole square has old buildings around, with many small shops and restaurants. This area gets crowded in the evenings but the atmosphere is worth it.The Temple is opened to the public, you can go inside and admire old sculptures, and more.Highly recommend.

Located in a central plaza in the old town of Pula is this temple. It is amazing to see and think about how old it is. Inside was a small exhibit of Roman artifacts. It costs a small amount to go inside and it is interesting. Highly recommend to see this if you are coming to Pula. And if you're still on the fence about coming here than I'd pull the trigger and visit Pula.
