This was my second time visiting and its awesome! With the ticket you get a tour of the island and they show all the important stuff. You can also explore on your own by foot or you can rent golf carts, electric scooters, and many more for a reasonable price! Good place to visit.

Brijuni national park is one of the gems of Istria. I would definitely recommend it for the nature and unique experience. Take the safari tour and enjoy beautiful scenery with very interesting history. The tours are worth their money. You can also rent bikes and cars but the price is a bit steep considering the quality. In general logistics are not very good. For example you cant pay for the tour only when on the island but its only available through buying the tickets. Bike stands are not very close to points of interest like hotel and its not a good experience for visitors. I recommend to buy them online.

Just beautiful! If you can, rent a bicycle or another vehicle, so that you can travel around the whole Brijuni and see beautiful nature by yourself. And it's worth paying more for a train tour if you haven't been yet on Brijuni. Also, pizza in the small pizzeria bar is really good and enough for two persons :D When tourists stop coming to Brijuni by the boats/ferry and go back at for example from 19:00h most beaches become private nature paradise.

Nice trip to the summer residence of the famous Tito. Not only interesting from the historycal point of view, but also a relaxing place. Probably it could be done a little bit more to preserve the beauty of the remains of what Tito left behind (all the structures of the zoo are empty and not well maintained). The botanical gardern was a real disaster (literally nothing to see - all the lavender was dead and the grass was high, expected a little bit more from this). We came with the dog and the entrance for the dog was 100kn in April 2022. This is a “must” if visiting Istria, I reccomend at least 3-4 hours for the visit + to take a golf cart (300kn per hour). There are not enough golf cart for all the visitors, it’s not possible to get a reservation, so the only reccomendation is to run as fasf as you can to the sports rental 😂

A historical national park with a perfect combination of green nature and blue sea. My favorite are the Safari part with zebras, ancient roman remains and the possibility to rent out a bike and discovernrhe island by yourself. This place is so peaceful and calm, you wish to stay here forever.

It's really beautiful and you can see a lot of the untouched nature with Mediterranean vegetation and Tito's legacy. It's recommended to book everything in advance. Most of the island (especially the prettier parts) is closed to visitors anyway, so you can visit only the "touristy" parts. The guided tour is a train that takes you on a hour long trip with (too) short stops to visit the safari park. The good thing is that you can rent an e-bike or regular bicycle (with a kid trolley) and have a tour of the island.

Beautiful nature, 4 stars only because of that. Organization of rentals is not something to be proud of. No el.cars for 6, even though on web it said they have. All bikes should have baskets or at least smart phone holder of some sort so one can easily follow the route. Toilets are very poorly kept.

A lovely island to explore, the coastline has many beautiful quiet secluded coves, the educational nature trail takes you through old woods inhabited by deer and the central park land is like an English country park. Give yourselves a whole day to enjoy.

I recently visited Brioni National Park with friends and it was a really lovely experience. After the interesting tour given by our relaxing guide Andrej, we had time to explore on our own and so we rented an electric car. The staff working there was helpful and fast with providing us the vehicle. We could go on our own and befriend the zebras and donkeys of the Safari Park. The ostriches, too. The nature there is beautiful and the museums offer a look into the rich history of the island.

Its probably one of the best places you will visit in your life. The island is pritty large and with a lot of things to do and see. With impressive natural and historical herretige. I recomend to rent a bike or an electric car to go arround the island. Food and service in Hotels and restorants is also one of the best you can find. Very clean and well kept in Natural park and in buildings. Its a 5 star in all ways possible and a must see!

Perfect excursion trip for couples, families, group of friends. You arrive from Fažana and have little train tours on Croatian, English, German and Italian language where you visit safari and do sight-seeing of the island. Take your swimming gear because it is possible to swimm on several secluded beaches in peace without the crowd. Also, island has many exhibitions to see and it's easy to spend whole day there with rented bikes or golf cars.

Awesome nature - beautiful beaches, crystal clear water, phenomenal colors - have been there for half a day but could imagine to be there for longer time - good golf course available - no cars on the island, only caddies 🚘🚨🫶

Stunning views, lots of history and beautiful, safe swimming spots. Guided tour on the land train was very informative with friendly guides. Definitely recommend a visit.

Very nice trip. We paid 40€ for trip which include drive with boat to island Brioni and back to Fažana, and also guided toure in croatian, english or german language. Afrer guided toure we went to the beach and we found sunbeds wich we could use for free. You can return to Fažana with any time that suits you (guide tells you time when boat drives back)

Amazing experience, tranquil place to sit and enjoy. The water around the island seems more clear compared to the mainland beaches.

Amazing experience, one of the most amazing places in Croatia. I would definitely recommend everyone to come and explore. There is soo much history in one place It is suitable for both relaxation and sports activities. You can explore it by foot, by bicycle, by car, electric cars. There are golf courses, beaches and much more.

Amazing experience, the ferry was easy to find and buy tickets.I would definitely recommend everyone come and explore the island. There is so much history in one place and so much to see. You can explore it by foot, bicycle, car, and electric cars. We loved going to the zoo area and seeing the dinosaur footprints and just walking around admiring the beautiful nature.

Had 2.5 hours here as part of a boat trip, €5 was payable to the national park warden on arrival. Great swimming areas, wild peacocks and hens wandering freely. Restaurant in port area ..

Nice island. 30eur ticket boat from fazana national park enterence included. Parking in fazana 0.5 eur/hour. Brijuni park has its own parking place Worth renting electric car or bike otherwise it is impossible to see everything.

Overall i think the tour is worth your money. Our guide was very good with handling so many people and very friendly. The island itself is beautiful and has a lot to offer. It's interesting to learn about the history and the many different animals.

Beautiful nature. So much things to see. You can come with small boats of with big ones. We came with ship called Brijuni. After we arrived on the island we took the "train" with a guided tour. Amazing views. On the island you can find several nice beaches. (mostly empty so you can enjoy in peace). Beside "train" you can rent golf cars, scooters, bicycles for explaining Brijuni. There are few restaurants where you can eat of buy a drink.

Must-see. We had a wonderful day in the island walking and walking. No need to deal with people here. We've seen the dinosaur place and the safari and other great places. Bikes or bobby cars are too expensive to rent, but you're very welcome to hike and enjoy a day off

Great place. A must see if you are in this part of Croatia. Guid d tour is great, and you can get lots of information about the island. Here they have a small zoo, so it can be interesting to children. Also there are animals roaming free, so you can see them if you are walking around. History of the island is really interesting. There are few nice beaches here if you are staying longer.

Perfect place, many places to see and visit. We spent 1h in train, but much better was to rent a bike and go trough Island ourself. Star down for pure information on website

Great place to visit for historical and recreational vacation. Purchase tour guide to evaluate if you want to go to specific locations yourself or tour will give you all needed sightseeing. Quite popular place, better go early morning or late evening.

This is a must-visit place in entire Croatia. Unique location, a beautiful island, perfect climate. Such a beauty.

Today we visited this beautiful island. There are really many places to visit and you can easily spend a whole day here like we did. This place just breathes history. I have to give a star down for the slightly inflated prices both for the entrance and for the refreshments on the island (two coffees with water 100 kuna +) and also the thing that puzzles me a lot. A lot of peacocks live on the island and they shed their feathers. I witnessed a family collect some beautiful peacocks in the forest and wanted to take them away by boat. However, on departure the staff confiscated the feathers, crumpled them up and threw them in the bin! Such a shame! I understand that nothing can be picked or collected, but why does it end up in the bin ?

Definately you should just buy a boat ticket and maybe rent a golf cart to get around on the island, the guided tour is not worth it. Safari park is quite small. There is also Tito's Villa with exhibitions of stuffed animals and old state visit photos.

Beautiful day spent in Brioni national park, the short ferry ride to the island was nice as well, in the island we took the tour with a tour guide that told us about the history of the region and island, rode the family train through the main parts of the island for an hour, beautiful beaches and an amazing day in that historical

Amazing experience. Highly recommend going early, start a tour with a guide and then rent a scooter or bike to explore the island by yourself for the rest of the day. Very beautiful.

One of most beautiful islands of Croatia. Nature is amazing, you can literally go wherever you want (excluding government properties) exploring complete island with ev-golf car, bicycle or on foot. Really breathtaking views and freedom take you on another level of joy.

This spot truly deserves the title 'a little piece of heaven on earth'. Beautiful green meadows, with a lot of animals roaming freely (birds, rabbits, fawns and deer) addorned by beautiful trees are seemingly endless. Safari park contains several zebras which are not afraid to approach visitors. One of the most beautiful spots on the island is the Mediterranean garden. You can spend whole day exploring the place on foot, in golf cart or riding a bike and still not see a piece. The history of the island is very rich, from the Roman Empire, through Austrian Empire to the modern era. The hotel on the island is very beautiful, with kind and professional staff, delicious food and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended for a family weekend escape...

Unfortunately we came on main holiday and all the boats were full, so we couldn't go to the main island. Instead we booked just a boat ride around the island with one of the many tours. I'd recommend booking in advance, if you can figure it out. The island looked nice from the seaside. Expensive tickets, at about 25 per person.

  • 5/5 M M. 9 months ago on Google
Wonderful place! You can rent a bike (6 eur/h), scooter (20 eur/h) or golf car (idk price). You can swim anywhere, be nudist or see different animals around :)

  • 5/5 Petr H. 9 months ago on Google
Nice national park, small safari, beautiful nature. I have to recommend visit the Mediterranean garden!

Went outside of season, in May and it was a great weekend. We had great weather, nice and warm. We stayed at hotel Neptun, which has good breakfast and dinner (buffet). We went through the national park with bikes, which we loved. A lot of stories suround the island. Overall one of the best short weekend vacations we took! But if the weather was not good, then you can't do really anything but stay in the hotel.

  • 3/5 Zoltan K. 10 months ago on Google
The Island itself is nice with beautiful flora and fauna, seen animals roaming freely, etc. but the details make it an avarage experience. Train service only allows you for a partial ‘train safari’, but doesn’t allow you to explore Safari or even visit ‘Dinosaur park’, which forces families to either rent cart/bike or walk 6kms to and back to Safari/Dino area. Taking the next train is not an option, as they bring back everyone after the short stop, so trains are full. Also, dinosaur park was a bit disappointment to the kids having to walk to a single dino with stone eggs and some footprints, there is so much opportunity to make this a real childfriendly dino park missed... The nearest beach to the port has no showers or changerooms, and the shore is partly made of bricks and full of glass shards even has some trash on it, with a month-old dead rabbit under the tree, it was really disgusting. Overall would recommend renting a cart for families, which is expensive on top of the regular ticket…
