Lovely quaint place, we much liked it better than Pula but then we are not city people. I think it gives you a much more authentic feel of real northern Croatia. Friendly locals, less crowds, lots of nature on the doorstep.

Fažana is a picturesque fishing town on southwestern coast of the Istrian peninsula situated near the ancient town of Pula ideal for relaxation and recreation. It is also the port from where you can reach the Brijuni Islands National Park... There is not much to see here as in other part of Istria

A picturesque fishing village on the southwest coast of the Istrian peninsula, near ancient Pula, the starting port for the Brijuni Islands - a national park with the attributes of an earthly paradise. Beautifully decorated place with a preserved way of indigenous construction. The charm of the old town of Fažana are the old squares and houses lined up next to each other. The population has always been engaged in fishing and farming. Many civilizations from the past, such as the Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, and the military and civilian authorities of Austro-Hungary, left traces of their presence. Recent history remembers Josip Broz Tito (revolutionary and president of the former Yugoslavia), for whom Fažana was the starting point for the Brijuni Islands. In the very old town there is a beautiful parish church of St. Cosmas and Damian. Numerous events are held in the port and on the waterfront today during the summer, the most famous of which is the "sardine festival".

Fazana is small city with beach and restaurants arround. It's a "main gate" to Brijuni islands (National park).

Was here to take a boat ride to Brijuni. It is nice boulevard adorned with cafes and a souvenir shop. The old buildings have a charm, giving plenty of frames to capture. There is a playground for kids as well.

As small as magic. Nice pebbled beaches, clean water and seafood spots. Worth recommendation

Quiet cosy place to stay, artificial gravel beaches with plenty shadow under old big pines, shallow warm sea. Long and large coastal foothpath.

Small but cute city centre, good icecream, bit crowded, nice sunsets

A gorgeous little seaside town with lots of restaurants and trinket shops. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the entry into the sea is very unkind to the feet..

Beautiful place, several options for dinner, the best place to see the sunset and the full moon.
