Its a perfect place for a family get together, Bachelor outing and all types of events. Staffs are very friendly behaviour with a homely feeling. Rooms are pretty neat and clean with spacious. Food items are awesome with traditional fish curry and Fried items. Activities like Fishing, Kayaking carroms, indoor games and swing available.

Situated at Kainakari, Alappuzha. Calm and quiet place. You will have to travel via boat to reach this place. Your vehicle can be parked on the other side of lake at a pay and park facility. The property is well maintained and its absolutely beautiful. Food was delicious and rooms are neat and clean. Recommended for family and bachelors . Perfect for having parties.

Awesome and peaceful atmosphere. Be careful of the huge traffic block to reach this place. One has to cross the Pamba river to enter the resort. Be sure to take a boat ride on the back waters in the evening preferably by 5.30 pm. Overall experience was super and the food especially the breakfast was good with egg curry and appam. Definitely worth a visit

Ajeesh, the owner of the resort, is truly a remarkable person. During our stay at the COTELAC Heritage Lake Resort, we felt like we were at home. The staff at the resort were incredibly helpful, and despite our language barriers, they went above and beyond to communicate with us in whatever way they could - whether it was speaking Malayalam, Hindi or English, or even using gestures. The food at the resort was simply amazing. We enjoyed mouth-watering Kerala meals as well as North Indian cuisine, both of which were of the highest quality. Ajeesh also offered us fresh mangoes and coconuts from his own garden. One of the best things about the resort was the lush green environment. Moreover, the resort was situated right in front of a massive river, adding to its picturesque charm. What's more, the government jetty station Kainakary Road or St. Mary School was just 50-100 meters away. Additionally, one of the highlights of our stay at the COTELAC Heritage Lake Resort was the kayaking activity. Overall, our stay at the COTELAC Heritage Lake Resort was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Ajeesh and his amazing family and teams who made us feel so welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. One of the best resorts out there in Kainakary. Had a pleasant stay . Host is so friendly and always available . The food is so amazing and they will prepare as per our needs . Kayaking , houseboat , Shikara and speed boats are also available at the resort .

An old home converted as a resort. Rooms are clean and not very spacious but enough for couples and kids. Its view is amazing as it is located near a river. A large courtyard will keep the kids busy.

It's a beautiful looking old house... Great location, just by the side of the river.. food is good.. host is friendly.. bathrooms need a bit of maintenance.. To reach there, you have to take a boat from the opposite boat jetty.. pay and park ground available for your vehicles..

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. The host is a very cooperative nd provided good hospitality. Quite and good ambience with quality food. We were offered good veg food that to on time nd arranged breakfast quite early in morning as we had planned to depart early in morning...The place is close to lake ,very peaceful and full of natural beauty.The rooms and facilities were great.

I can't give any stars as there was no basic amenities like water and electricity. The concerned person never turned up to the location. We struggled to go to restroom and to get freshen up in the morning as there was no water. We had to wait till we checked in another place to complete our morning activities.

We had been to this place last month and the host managed our stay in worst possible way. We had mentioned that we will reach there by 4pm, but got late and reached by 6pm. By then the host had cancelled our room booking and also the house boat we had booked. He did not even bother to consult us before taking that step. He kept on arguing that it is all our fault. Later he offered another place nearby, which was quite decent. But worst part was house boat we got as replacement was horrible. It was dirty and not worth the money we paid. Only saving grace was the hospitality in house boat which was ok. Food offered in the resort is too basic and just repeated the same menu next day as well. Some items did not look fresh also. But overall this person is reckless and never suggest anyone to visit this place. If there is some planning, people can get a lot better options to make their holiday nice for same price.

We had a gud experience in tasting kuttanadan thani nadan duck fry. They arranged pvt boat for us from. Jetty to resort . I prefer the resort for all functions ,get together official meeting and tour . i request you to keep and maintain the hospitality and service . all the best. See you again shortly.

Cotelac is great! Shabir met us and cooked wonderful dinner. The second day he invited us to help and teach us Indian cooking. We booked a chikerey (?) instead of a large houseboat and went for a 4 hour trip. Lunch at a hotel with a pool which we could use. The only drawback was the dirty rooms with lots of dead and alive spriders and insects and dust on the floor. Also nice to walk outside the house and see the rice fields.

Marvellous stay. You can enjoy the real beauty of Kuttanadu , the rice bowl of God's own country. Here paddy field is 7feet below sea level and I wondered to know that this is the only place in the world where farming is done like this way. Recommend for visitors those who visit Kerala for family vacation.Wonderful boating experience and food in boat and resort was so delicious.
