Built on a sprawling area of 7,00,000 sq.ft, the shopping complex was inaugurated in 2010 amid massive fanfare and glowing praises for its structure syncretizing modern design with traditional Kashmiri architecture and “marvelous” escalators and lifts. Sangarmaal' with its grandeur and confluence of local architect/traditional art and modem look can be treated as significant achievement of SDA. 15 kanals of land has been utilized for completion of phase-I of Sangarmaal. The shopping mall has been allotted 57 shops, 10 kiosks, 2 food courts and 5 office spaces. Overall good mall to visit and especially when there is shopping festival. You will kids entertainment too . Build with a cost of Rs 17 crore, Sangarmall is spread on 20 kanals (one hectare), providing ample space for thousands of expected shoppers. The two storey building also has a basement and attic spaces constituting 1.16 lakh square feet of space.

It was supposed to be Srinagar’s Saket select city but turned out to be such a dud. Few influential persons got shops and they instead turned those into godowns. Others who brought shops didn’t even bother to rent or open and they are closed since opening. Few brands who set up shops had to close as people didn’t bother turning up. What killed is that it is govt run it should be privatised.

Was meant to be a great mall in the city centre but didn't live up to it's hype. Most of the shops there are closed. The food joints there are not at all popular with the locals. People prefer other places than this mall.

This place is like a ghost town. No significant shops and whatever is left is always closed.

It has beautiful potential for business if given a proper attention towards the betterment of this Sangarmall by the authorities.

Convenient location with a good parking but inspire of that this place couldn't click much business

An aesthetically built mall at a wonderful central place .. in ruins because the Operators have no idea how to run the malls.. please give it to a private operator and this will be the most happening place in srinagar..

Although entry and exit of the parking is from the same side only..but i think it is cool and rest of the part i don't have any idea..aesthetically is not bad

Spooky kind of a mall. A wasted space that could have been a great spot for a shopping center in the heart of town. Not sure what went wrong with this place.

Not only a shopping centre but when having exhibitions it's the place of entertainment, enjoying with family and friends... The place to relax in and enjoy the ride of swings and spirals not only for adults but for kids too.... Real excitement and real entertainment

You may visit this mall to purchase confectionery at Nathu's Sweets, Books at F-Books especially for DPS Students, A Fine Dine at 7 Cs Restaurant, Wahab for Ladies Suits, Elaf for Flight Tickets, and many other shops for Kids garments. You will find enough parking space easily there.

Beautiful architecture and situated at large area and heart of the city, a huge parking is available there but every time I saw very less customer's there
