The ambiance and serene atmosphere of the location makes you disconnect immediately from the daily buzz of the city. The place is absolutely wonderful for a retreat. The food and service was good and both the staff and Christel went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Glamping is a nice place with a heated swimming pool that one can enjoy. I absolutely will recommend our clients to stay at Glamping on their way to Nanyuki or Samburu. The room was lovely and spacious facing mountain Kenya. In the morning and evenings you may see the mountain. Thank you all for taking good care of us.

Glamping Kenya lodge by the lovely and ever friendly couple Erwin & Christel is one of the best camps that I have ever been to. The first thing that I noticed is the way they have just a few tents and this means that it will never be crowded. This guarantees you a personalized service as there will only be a few guests at a time. The staff members are very friendly and will always walk to you with a smile to check if everything is okay. The food was very delicious and they have a large variety to choose from. The tents look simple from outside but once you get inside you get shocked and excited with the luxury that's hidden in the tents. The camp operates on solar power and therefore your sleep won't be disrupted by some noisy generators. All the tents have some breathtaking views of Mt Kenya. The location is also in a very quiet village away from any urban center. If you are looking for a place to relax your mind then the Glamping lodge is the perfect destination for you. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending a very peaceful weekend (25 &26 August 23). The hosts, Christel & Erwin, were most welcoming, warm, and interactive. The tent rooms were comfortable and spacious. Service and food were excellent. The view of Mt Kenya was ever present and magnificent. Hope to re- visit soon.

My family and I visited Glamping Kenya over the weekend and we were very impressed with the services, the facilities and the food was amazingly delicious not to forget the fresh cocktails we had. The staff are very friendly, respectful and very helpful. The place is in a strategic location which connects to Olpejeta, Solio conservancy, Mt Kenya and Nanyuki. We stayed in this new lodge for four nights in October 2023 and we enjoyed it a lot. The tents are very spacious and have 24/7 hot water and electricity, thanks to the solar system. You can see Mount Kenya from your tent if the sky is clear! The staff is very friendly and accommodative. The food in the restaurant is made fresh and the menu has a lot of options. We visited Solio Conservancy, which is only 10 minutes (!) from the lodge. You can also easily visit Mount Kenya and Ol Pejeta from here. The lodge has recently opened, so there is still work in progress, but it is already a super nice place and we would love to come back in a few months to see how it has become!

The tents are located at a very calm and serene place, with views of the top of Mount Kenya. It has all the amenities you need, a nice restaurant/bar and swimming pool. The staff is super friendly and help you plan nice activities in the surroundings, like (walking) safaris, visits to parks or more cultural things. The host, Erwin, is very hospitable and friendly and really tries to make you feel at home. All in all, it was a very lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Glamping Kenya. Personalized service. Good place to rest and disconnect, quiet, scenic. It rained a lot while we were there so we didn't get to see much of Mt Kenya. Enjoyed the Mango bacon salad and the capaccino was also really good. We would definitely visit another time when it's sunny so we can swim more.

We spent a weekend here and decided to extend the stay with an extra day. We had a wonderful time and were treated very well by the staff and by management. We loved the view and we especially loved spending time in the nearby Solio ranch, which is a private ranch that only has very expensive accommodation within the ranch. This was an amazing alternative.
