I cannot begin to explain how amazing this place is! From the ambiance down to the service, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime Kenyan experience. You will not be disappointed !

Absolutely incredible! Service was top notch from arrival to departure. The lodge is located in the Solio Conservancy and you’re able to see giraffes, white rhinos, impalas, gazelles and monkeys from your room. The game drives are excellent and the team works with each other to search for a particular animal. We wanted to see an older male lion and they made sure to search him out! The food was absolutely incredible and the portions were large. Every staff member was helpful, friendly and made sure we were as comfortable as possible and had everything we needed. They also offer free horse back riding when you book at the lodge and I highly recommend this! Shout out to John, our driver for the incredible experience and excellent bush breakfast!

This was our second trip to Solio Lodge. Once was just not enough. It is a magnificent place with the most amazing accommodation. Of course the wonderful Rhino population (which is growing every year) is the main attraction but we also saw leopard, lions and an abundance of other animals. Even an elephant who snuck in. Thank you Ava, John, Ishmael and all the great staff who took care of us.

Ava and her team are fantastic. Elvis and Mary in the kitchen, only four (very large) rooms, John was a great game drive guide, we saw so many rhinoceros!

Amazing place, amazing staff. We were so lucky that Trinny was caretaking the lodge and John guided us thru the reserve, tremendous knowledge on all matters.

I have been to many holiday resorts, in some I get good services either in the room, or outside but with solio huh it was all round from reception when you arrive, to rooms, friendly game drives and their food fresh always wow yearning to go back. My daughter leah is saving to go there next year 2021

Completely blown away by this place! Everything from the service, views, rooms, experience! It was all perfect! And getting so close to the rhinos was phenomenal!!! I highly recommend Solio Lodge.

The Solio Lodge, part of The Safari Collection, is a beautiful, comfortable lodge situated near Mt. Kenya and the Rhino Preserve. It’s a great place to see black and white rhino as well as zebra, lions, and buffalo.

Old world luxury sort of charm. Away from the rush, hustle, and bustle of daily life, and well situated within an expansive area. Everything from entry to lodging is absolutely excellent. If you fancy a game drive, great reception and service, and a generally memorable experience, this is a place to plan for

I have never had better service from a resort. Food was phenomenal. The kitchen staff were very pleasant to deal with. The staff for taking care of the rooms were excellent as well. little details like having the tub filled with warm water and Epson salts after a dusty game drive was a nice touch. The rooms are fantastic. Views of all the wildlife on the ranch was very captivating. Shower is massive. You could fit a rhino it. We had a giraffe walk as close as it could get to our room. The safari guides are very knowledgeable and very good to deal with. We had Rashid and couldn't ask for a better and more passionate driver. He also is knowledgeable about photography and can set you up with great shots if you are taking pictures. There wasn't a question that we asked that he could not answer. The manager was very kind and would always ask you how you are doing and made our stay at the lodge comfortable. She was very accommodating to us. I can't speak highly enough of Solio Lodge and I would recommend them to anyone without question.
