As always being at Karura makes me feel amazing and free.. Friends of karura limuru road so beautiful and peaceful for running, walking and bird watching. There's an amazing picnic area that's so beautiful I couldn't believe it, a nice playground for kids and an event cook out area. If you don't feel eating from the restaurant at Karura you can bring your own 👍🏽 If I haven't expressed this enough I really love this place 💯💯

Good place to visit for walk or run or biking. Many trails with less than 1.5kms one way, visit water falls, and semi cave, densed forests, and safe to walk. They will take your water bottles at the gate. So take minimum water in non plastic container if you have reuseable ones.

First time in Amani Gardens for the Paint and Brush event. Very scenic and relaxing. Perfect picnic spot with lots of space and a few swings and slides for the kids. This is a great Saturday mid-morning plan.

Loved Karura Forest. So many activities to choose from. The entire forest is well maintained. I was however overcharged to enter as I'd been told it's KES 100/= for citizens, only to be charged KES 300/=. I did wonder about that.

I really wish everyone should consider health first. Stretch, burn out the body extras and breath the cleanest air. Not forgetting the best songs from nature(the birds) I also noticed there's colobus monkey.

You know the usual amenities. Good field, you can cycle in Karura forest and all that. Its nice but nothing too special. Good place to relax and take a casual break and breath of fresh air.
