My experience here was amazing. The service was top notch and our server was very attentive. Food was really filling, which was a plus since we were a group. We had pizza which surprised us as they were so well done, especially from a non Italian restaurant. I will definitely be coming back.

The most recent of the Asmara restaurants, offering the same top notch version of the Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine as the others. Small, but nice garden section, fast service and good ambiance. Playground with a bouncing castle and a trampoline, so a perfect family spot.

The Restaurant has ample parking, the location is good, it is Kids friendly ( playing areas and food). The waiters here are so courteous. The food✅✅✅

The pizza is unbelievably thin and very small for it's price. Cheese were also scarce, no ketchup, no tissue. I can't express my disappointment that I expected at least a basic pizza that you could find anywhere. As saddening as the taste I wish with less hope that the restaurant must improve quality regardless the profit.

An excellent place to enjoy your lunch with your young ones; there's a kid's corner( trampoline and bouncing castle). We enjoyed the service of Sheilah she was sweet and professional. The place is clean; there are toilets for kids and a changing table ( parents will appreciate this) Overall we enjoyed the service and the FOOD. I am not sure how it is on weekends we went on weekdays and it is lovely.

Good Eritrean food, but it could have more spicies in it. There are Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurants in Nairobi whose dishes are more authentic.

First of all I would like to express that the restaurant with the terrace is amazing beautiful and the service is very polite and professional. We had a lovely time. Coming to the food: we went here to eat authentic Eritrean food (restaurant is called Asmara) and had injera with mixed Tsebhi. To be honest the food did not taste as we know from Eritrean kitchen (adding here that my family is Eritrean so I would claim some experience in the kitchen). Furthermore interesting that nobody of the staff serving us spoke Tigrinya in a restaurant called Asmara. Nevertheless thanks for the nice time.

This is the new "For You" style. It's great for families with young children as there is a bouncing castle, trampoline and good view from the restaurant to keep an eye on your child. The food is okay.

I was at a company party, and the request was for a combination of Kenyan and Ethiopian food. Overall, the food was very good. I will have to visit again for strictly Ethiopian food to be able to rate it against other Ethiopian restaurants in the area.

Disappointed in the meal we had. The t-bone Steak and lamb chops were really undercooked when we initially asked to have it well done then when they offered to fix it we got burnt food brought to us. They then offered to redo the dish but for some reason they decided to cook them even more instead which meant that they served us charred food which we were unable to eat. We then ordered dessert (brownie) which was even more disappointing. Not only was it nothing like brownie (it looked more undercooked like chocolate cake) but the icecream served me beside it was so little in comparison to the cake. All in all a very disappointing experience unlike previous visits. We didn’t take photos unfortunately but Needless to say we will not be going back……

The restaurant is arguably the best in Kilimani at the moment. The atmosphere is very calming and the food fresh. They play soothing music and the place is spacious and clean. The only problem is the detached nature of some of the waitresses who take long to respond and attend to clients.

The location is fantastic very accessible and ample parking. Lots of outdoor and indoor dining areas and a kids play area. When it cooled off in the evening, they provided us with braziers for some warmth. The food is great Eritrean/Ethiopian cuisine. A great family eating location. I definitely recommend it!

Food is pretty good. Play area for kids is a bit small with a medium sized bouncing castle and a trampoline.

Asmara never disappoints. I was able to have an arrangement to leave my bike and pick up the following day. It was late and I had great company and good wine

Great ambience. You can choose to eat inside or the outdoors. Coffee is amazing! The service is one of the best I've experienced dining in Nairobi. Great place for meet ups and family dining. They have a decent playground for kids. Highly recommend.

I sat at Asmara for all of 1.5hrs and I had a cafe latte and water but the service and ambience deserves a 5 star. It was in the morning, and I was the only guest inside the restaurant area, so maybe this can be considered not good enough to rate a joint. But ooliskia wapi? My experience was fabulous.

The food served was cold...but it was delicious. Ample parking space. Staff is friendly. Nice place to have a business meeting...

I came, I seat and i ate......its neat, clean and proper. But no character or something that gives it a distinct look or feel. I would do it again and i would recommend the place. Food was good but as i said nothing distinctive about it.

Asmara Restaurant is a good place for family, business lunches, and even just an evening drink. I always passed it in my way home or my way to my office as Othaya Road is my daily commute. The portions were ample and the service was in point. The food was fresh and presentation was just right. A little pricey, but great value for money too. Clean , hygienic and spacious. Must get crowded on the weekends thus parking may be a challenge, however please visit and enjoy the tastes of the Ethiopian cuisine..... vast menu and good food. 9/10 on my first visit...
