I really enjoyed my meal at Magic Plate Kitchen. The chicken was great. The staff is really friendly and attentive. I can’t believe I’ve lived in Kilimani and just discovered this hidden gem. It's a good place if you want to have a traditional African style meal! Will be back again and again 😊

The thick and hearty beef stew is accompanied by beef and rice. Very savory! If only this place was easier to find on Google Maps. Everyone should try their authentic and delicious cooking.

One of the best Osso buco meals I've ever had. Magic Plate is a beautiful hidden gem at the heart of Kilimani, and they serve their African dishes just as gorgeously. It gets busy at 1 pm, so try to going earlier ahead of the lunch time rush.

Magic Plate Kitchen Restaurant is a great place to have delicious East African traditional cuisine as a solo diner, with family or friends. It is colorful and vibrant. They are located in Kilimani adjacent to Yaya Centre. I have always had a great dining experience as eat-in or take away. I especially love their traditional Ugali, fish and chicken dishes. They offer a complimentary glass of fresh juice with every meal. It’s child friendly and pocket friendly. They accept cash, Visa and MPesa methods of payments. You can call and collect.

I ordered a delivery of three liver dishes - wet fry liver and pan-fried liver. I didn't have prior experience with this restaurant and I can say I won't be back. The quantities of liver were not worth the price!! The liver was tough, some of it hard and unchewable, and cold; I had to reheat the food. The pan-fried liver was more of sukuma wiki than liver. Disappointing experience all round!
