So many birds! This is a rescue so they have a lot of unwanted pets or animals that were abused so a few look a little rough but you can tell the staff is very knowledgeable and are giving the animals the best possible care with the resources they have. Some are a little crowded but they are in process of constructing better aviaries. Take to tour or you will miss a lot.

Sanctuary for animals mostly native bolivian birds who have been victims of animal trafficking, try to pay a visit and help them so they can get more incomes and build better inclosures for the birds, it's very sad seing such big birds in really tiny cages.

Excellent volunteer rescue initiative that shows endemic and exotic bird species that are captured in or brought to Bolivia. Shows how vulnerable and beautiful nature can be, and why humans need to protect it.

Cruel. Such places that keep pure and innocent life in cages should be sabotaged and forbidden.

A very interesting project. The take care of trafficked animals. Many wild species that were being mistreated by their owners. They are mostly volunteer run. They also have a vetenarian working there. Definitely worth a visit.

Good place to learn about how humans are affecting the life of animals.

Good place to spend some hours with children and family, specially as a way to support the refuge and its birds and animals.

Beautiful place, it is kind of a zoo but they're rehabilitating animals. You can have lunch there.
