I have been here for so many time but every time it gives me the same blissful feeling. This temple was built by Morya Gosavi . Morya became devoted to Ganesha when he started visiting the Morgaon temple of Ganesha. It is believed that due to the hindrance in Morya's services to the god in the popular Ganesha shrine, Ganesha told Morya that he would appear in Chinchwad for Morya to worship, so Morya moved from Morgaon to Chinchwad, where Morya built a Ganesha temple. Consequently, Morya took sanjeevan samadhi by burying himself alive in his tomb. This temple has all the detailed information beautiful carved around the temple surrounding. Must visit once if around.

Beautiful lord Ganesha temple.🌼 Walkable distance from Chaphekar chowk or Chinhwad gaon bus stop. Temple is just besides river Pawna. Good atmosphere. Well maintained. Working staff is too good. Open 24 hr everyday. But parking is not available for four wheelers. Overall good. Must Visit.

Overall good vibes to visit with friend, photo clicks are not allowed there, and there is the process needs to follow while doing Parikrama(परिक्रमा). If you plan for the Jijay Paryatan Kendra, Must visit this place too. The glims of the Morya temple you also see from the Park too but good to walk and cover smile miles to visit and take a blessings. This temple is in crowded area, parking space is little challenge there so you park your vehicle in park itself before visiting this.

Car parking - Not having much space near gate of temple. You need to park 4 wheeler to nearby and then walk till temple. This might be an issue for old age people. 2 wheeler parking in ample in-front of main gate. Lot of shops near by for shopping. Bit costly so definitely bargain before you buy. Too many fast Food shops are available near by. Mastani shop is must try. Nice paintings inside temple. Take a look at it read.

Morya Gosavi was a 14th century saint of the Ganapatya sect. He was a great devotee of Ganesha. He was originally from a village called Shaligram in Karnataka. He built the Mayureshwar temple at Morgaon, near Pune. The starting of the Ashtavinayak pilgrimage is attributed to him. The words Ganapati Bappa Morya are attributed to him. He was a contemporary of Chattrapati Shahu Maharaj and Peshwa Balaji Vishwanath Bhatt. He took sanjeevan samadhi at Chinchwad, Pune. It is one of the best must visit temple in Chinchwad. They have proper parking space and shoe racks. Temple is clean and neat. Nearest to Chinchwad railway station. Beside temple there is khau galli. They have sculptures on which stories of shree morya gosavi has been mentioned.

Time to view this place: approximately 15 minutes. Very calm and quiet temple of Sage Moraya Gosavi. To get piece of mind and inner good feeling, this is A MUST VISIT place while in Chinchwad gaon, not only for Hindus but also for people of every faith. Entire structure is in stones, very well maintained, clean, disciplined. 3D posters take us through pages of history. People around here are simple, unbiased. Small shops are overflowing with typical household items. Items are reasonably priced, not so easy to find everywhere. Mostly prices are fixed to an extent they won't sell it if one bargains for price. Eateries at the corner serve delicious Maharashtrian items. The public garden and public gym by PCMC can be crowded but are fairly good. Temple administration holds annual singing and religious programs which are also of high quality. 🙏🙏

A beautiful Ganesh Temple to visit solo or with family. Best time to visit is morning as it wasn't crowded so we can take the darshan peacefully. There are a few eateries outside to have some quick bites. Not much of parking space.

It has lot of upaalayas of various forms of ganehsas. It has deepa sthambha. The temple is made of stone. Usually crowded on ganesh chathurdi and on monthly chaturthi. Temple has all photos of ganesha and his mahimas. Easily can be reached via bus, car, taxi etc. Must visit temple 🛕 in pune. This was the first temple I visited in pune.

Temple is nice but surrounding environment should be neat and clean a little bit.near by a park is there. We can go there and enjoy for sometime.
